Amazing location. Right in the middle of all the action in Brunswick, whilst still on a quiet street. A 10mins stroll to Princess Park ( which is one of the few places in Melbourne you can enjoy an evening run) and 3mins walk to Barkly Square. The town house is as new being only 3 years old. It is stand alone, and has no shared walls, so is extremely quiet with lots of light. It has its own private secluded courtyard which is connected to the kitchen and meals area.
Will move in on the 20th November. Looking for someone to move in on the same date, and to take the smaller downstairs bedroom.
I study full time at Melb Uni, work part time in Richmond and play music (gig couple of times a month). As a result, Im quite busy and most likely not home a great deal, so you would have the place to yourself quite a bit. Having said that, I am however definitely after someone in the house who would also like to hang out from time to time, enjoy a meal together, grab a beer etc when it suits. Someone who is moderately passionate about food and music would probably be a better personality fit. I've recently (2 years now) got back from a good 10 years in Germany, so I have the feeling I am rediscovering Melbourne a little too..
Officially the place is tenanted until the 19th. I plan on trying to organise an inspection day with the agents somewhere between now and the 28th of October.
The pictures shown are from the real estate agent and am already in the process of getting everything sorted beforehand. Fear not, I do plan on having the place look a lot less sterile with some pretty nice stuff :) However, if you came with a heap of your own that might work well :)
Let me know if the place and any of this resonates with you, and happy to meet up for a beer/chat to see if we can make this a place to call home!
