Hi all! We are looking for a couple to join us in the granny flat Coburg. We have a standalone house which is currently shared by 4 roommates. The granny flat ($300 p/w) is completely self contained, has a kitchen, bathroom and the main bedroom has a walk-in robe.
The property is in a fantastic location close to Batman station (2 min) and Sydney Road (3 min). We are also close to Batman markets, heaps of shops on Gaffney Street and the supermarkets just down Sydney road. There are a couple beautiful parks just down the road as well which are good for running and a bit of exercise. We also have plenty of on street parking.
We like to keep the communal areas clean and tidy and everyone helps do their bit in cleaning up. We like to have BBQs and host a few social events once in a while but also enjoy a bit of time to ourselves. We currently have a weekly housemate dinner which you are welcome to join!
The house is shared between two guys (Michael and Richard, both 24) who are engineers and one girl (Laura, 24) who is a healthcare IT consultant. We are currently looking for one more flatmate to share the main house (preferably female to balance out the household a bit!).
We are all social, friendly, and enjoy chatting over a few drinks together. We occasionally all go out for dinner or a pub and we are hoping to host a few summertime BBQs too. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, fixing stuff around the home, and brewing my own beer. Richard likes to exercise and plays cornet in a band. Laura also likes cooking and going out with friends for coffee.
We are looking for people who are friendly and would contribute towards building a good, positive house vibe. Ideally, we would like to find people who are helpful around the house and can be clean and tidy in communal areas. They also must be consistent reliable with rent and bills. Bill are all split evenly.
