The house is large - every room is over sized as well as the front and back yards. The house is also really well located, situated to the rear of the Church Street shops in very close proximity to the 48, 75 and 109 tram lines, opposite Smart Street Reserve and a short walk to Hawthorn railway station, Glenferrie Road, Victoria Gardens and Victoria Street.
We've got a beautiful garden with fruit trees and shrubs throughout. The garden provides a really nice outlook from the front bedrooms.
A paved area is located in the rear yard. This is perfect for longer term car parking. We've also got two street parking permits and there's usually spots directly out the front in the evening.
The house itself has super high decorative ceilings, wide hallway, massive bedrooms, large kitchen/lounge and dining area. It's in good condition and has recently been painted throughout.
A gas heater is located in the living area but there's no air-conditioning (the high ceilings generally keep things cool over the summer period anyway).
The common areas are furnished. Cupboards and a bed side table are provided in each bedroom.
You would be living alongside Joel and Luke. We're got a pretty laid back attitude. Both of us are employed. Like everyone, we enjoy hanging out with friends, however, our full time partying days are behind us. We're ideally looking for someone whose reasonable, relaxed, chilled out and keen to mingle with the housies from time to time.
Currently it's just us living at the house - we're recruiting for two people as we have two additional bedrooms available.
