Welcome home! Cool little maisonette/miner's cottage, high ceilings, new(ish) paint/carpet, 2 toilets, gas cooking/water, big room up for grabs.. close to city, transport, gyms, shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants..! Small backyard, small quiet street, friendly neighbours (I've lived on this street for 5 years/ in this house for 1yr).. house is furnished except for the room, it's not exactly The Ritz but I AM a student and the place is cute and cosy at the very least! No air-con but I've managed without it thus far.. parking is on-street however there is a shared driveway and something could be negotiated with the neighbours.
I'm pretty awesome really (!!) - easy going, clean, considerate, open-minded female, early 30s, I work, study and occasionally play. A bit health conscious (I study nutrition and natural medicine) but I am realistic too (wine, beer and whiskey are welcome here), I like my own space (I study a fair bit) and I'm not going to live in your pockets but I'm definitely up for sociable housie drinks/outings from time to time! Live gigs, little pubs, music (alt/rock/indie etc), riding motorcycles, travel, coffee and tea.. that's me in a nutshell. I have a cheeky sense of humour, I'm super honest.. looking for similar, male or female, late-20s to mid-30s preferred but if we hit if off I don't really care about your age/gender/race/religion... just mutual respect. Good vibes please! Not keen on moody, whiney, bitchy sorts.
Also living in the house is one cat (2yrs, domestic shorthair, female) who isn't overly sociable but certainly does have her funny moments... adopted from a shelter, not a huge fan of humans but is slowly warming to me.. she's low maintenance and will probably just ignore you most of the time. Don't be offended.
Current housemate is reluctant to leave however he thought he should live with his fiancee before they get hitched.. fair enough I suppose!
Flick me a line. Cheers!
