This is the ultimate Shared Accommodation Apartment, it seriously ticks every box! The apartment is situated in Millers Point, near the Rocks, it is literally the perfect location with Darling Harbour, Circular Quay and the Train Station all a 10min walk, not to mention the amazing restaurants and bars as your backyard on the weekends! It's one of the very few CBD streets which actually has beautiful trees everywhere so no suffocating in traffic polution, there's also plenty of street parking, and if you need to drive/ride over the Harbour Bridge everyday like me, the slip lane is literally opposite the building so you just zoom on up and skip all the traffic.
As for the apartment, it's situated in a large complex with 24hr concierge - super convenient for any parcel deliveries. The building is ridiculously clean and super secure with visual intercom and video surveillance literally everywhere, so you can definitely feel safe sleeping at night. The utility bill is pretty cheap around $250 a quarter, gas and water is paid by the owner. You would have access to the 5-Star Fitness Centre which has a large gym, yoga area, swimming pool and spa all overlooking Darling Harbour.
The apartment itself is fully furnished with a balcony overlooking the city/water views. The only downside is watching the cruise ships depart without you! The room for rent does currently have a double bed and single bed which my current housemate (leaving) is looking to sell to the next tenant (if you prefer to bring your own bedroom furniture we can sort this out) and you would also have the main bathroom to yourself. The apartment is ideal for a professional working in/near the city, or a couple who are looking to get out and about exploring Sydney.
A bit about me - I'm a 28yr old female working professional (Mon-Fri), respectable, considerate, and very clean and tidy. I've lived in shared accommodation and I've also lived on my own for 5 years before, so I know how to pull my weight in a household, and to maintain a tidy environment. My job can sometimes be pretty hectic so when I get home I usually tend to keep quiet and just relax, that's not to say that I won't be up for a conversation over a glass of wine.
What I'm looking for - housemate(s) either male or female who have lived out of home before and know how to clean, someone who is respectful of other people's property, considerate, share the usual household chores, and willing to sign the new 6 month lease with me. On that note, no smokers or pets sorry as the lease forbids it. If you have a party lifestyle and want to have all of your friends over for drinks, please move on, this is not a party apartment, but it's not a retirement village either, happy to have a few guests over as long as everything's cleaned up afterwards. I'm pretty easy going but if you're constantly inconsiderate of other people sleeping, eat my food, and too lazy to do any chores, then we are going to have a major problem! Just making that clear upfront to save us both the hassle...
If you're interested, PM about yourself etc, the room is available November 1st. I'm going away for the last week of October so if we could line up viewings/meet & greet between now and Sunday that'd be great :)
