The Gatehouse is a FURNISHED one bedroom house located 30mins from Brisbane by car and 15mins from the main bus/rail interchange. The Gatehouse is located just out of Samford, a community located in south east Queensland approximately 21kms north west of Brisbane. Samford Village contains a mix of historical buildings, modern services, restaurants and shops and is a day tripper’s paradise with its cafe scene, century old pub, country markets and local produce. Popular attractions include the Samford Valley Historical Museum and John Scott Park which is a frequent venue of community and cultural activities such as concerts and holiday celebrations.

Popular activities in the area include cycling, bushwalking and day trips to nearby Mt Nebo, Mt Glorious and D'Aguilar National Park.
