Ideal location, great price, and a cosy home.
The apartment is a 10 minute walk to Kingston shops, and close to Manuka shops and the Kingston Foreshore area. It is well serviced by public transport.
The apartment is a bit old, but will be a cosy home when furnished (I move in with my furniture on 25 November).
The available (unfurnished) room will fit a double bed and a desk comfortably. You will have the main bathroom to yourself, but the toilet is shared. (The ensuite does not have its own toilet.) There is loads of on-street parking.
The room is available from 3 December. Ideally, I am looking for someone willing to stay until next November (which is when the lease ends), but I am open to shorter stays.
Bond is 4 weeks rent ($760). Electricity and internet are split equally.
I am a 30 year old, fairly laid back, public servant. I am usually quite busy during the week and weekends, either with squash, uni, hanging out with friends, or exploring Canberra and surrounds - I'm from Sydney originally. But I do enjoy relaxing at home, watching good (and sometimes terrible!) TV , listening and playing music, or attempting to cook.
I'm looking for a reasonably tidy and clean housemate, who enjoys catching up over the occasional beer/wine/meal, but equally appreciates their quiet time.
