Come home to foot rubs from Digs (cat that is more like a dog) and have a relaxing drink in the internal courtyard after a hot day. Grow your own vegies in the permaculture vegie beds. Try and win the heart of BazVegas (elusive cat) or collect fresh eggs from the backyard chickens (Henny Penny & Penelope). Rent a room in a home, not a house. The home wraps around the courtyard creating a front and back section - the street is quiet. Three outdoor areas ensure there is plenty of space to get some private time if needed. Walking distance to train station and shops, yet far enough away not to hear traffic.
I enjoy recycling and creating gardens that are self sufficient. A farmers daughter who likes to try and give everything a go before getting the professionals in:) Hiking, second hand shopping and spending time with friends, cooking and eating home cooked/made/grown food. If you can relocate spiders it would be an advantage. I work from home a lot of the time. Occasionally vet students stay in the house and do their placement at a nearby wildlife hospital. They have to study and do assignments whilst here, so they are always quiet and only stay for 2-4 weeks. You would have to share a bathroom with them.
