My current housemate and I have just signed a lease on a three bedroom house in Newtown which we'll be moving into on the 8th Dec and are looking for someone to share the home with us.
The available bedroom is a small double at the back of the house, unfortunately we don't have a photo of it (only pics we have atm are from the real estate ad) so I'll do my best to be desrcriptive... Would fit a double bed against the wall with enough space for a shelving unit at the foot of the bed, and a small bedside table next to it, but not much else. Large built ins so no issues with storage, and there is an attic conversion in the roof which we're thinking to use for extra storage/ spare bedroom for guests. Happy for a desk to be put in here if you're a student/ for it to be used as a creative space.
The three storey house is large with a big open plan living and dining room, decent sized kitchen, and separate laundry out the back that leads out into the garden. We have all communal furniture/ kitchen equipment so you'd pretty much just need a bed, but if you have additional furniture we can make this work.
The room will be available from the afternoon of Friday 9th Dec, will be $255/ week (although rent paid fortnightly) and the bond will be four weeks rent ($1,020).
A little about us:
Amy, 27, originally from the UK but have lived over here for a few years now; Audrey, 37, originally from France but has also lived here for quite a long time. We've been housemates for a couple of years and keep a clean, tidy, chilled out home. We both work Mon - Fri and are quite busy in the evenings (rock climbing/ yoga/ movies/ dinner with friends...) so the house is fairly quiet during the week, but always open to making time for a housemate dinner or drink at home/ the pub :)
We're looking for someone around the same age who is after a long term rent. If you're keen send through an email with a bit of info about yourself and let us know if you'd be free to meet up for a chat over this coming weekend (3rd/4th Dec)
