The Best house in the Bay - Relaxing, open, vibrant. The perfect place to call home at the end of the day.
The basics: $140 a week including all the bills ie Electricity, Gas, Internet. Rates and so forth.
The house is a massive 400sq open plan. Fully tiled floors. Plenty of ceiling fans in all areas including bedrooms.
Air con total of 12kw (Cleaned every 3 months).

You can choose from any of the three vacant rooms as all are 3.5m square with built in robes and come furnished with queen size bed, bedside drawers and the builtin robes contain plenty of shelf and hanging space (if you need more – Just ask).
Big bathroom with full size bath, separate shower (and a toilet). A second bathroom in the house has a double shower and toilet.
We do not rent the En-suit room because we allow that bathroom to use used as a second bathroom by the house. Please do not ask for this room.
Security doors and screens - common keyed.
Full kitchen with lots of bench space and breakfast bar - almost every item you could possibly need for a kitchen.
Gas cooking - semi commercial stove and oven.
Big refrigerator with a second brand new refrigerator on order.
Plenty of cupboard space.. and I mean plenty.
7 stage reverse osmosis water filter under sink in kitchen ensuring your water is pure and clean. Filter remineralizes (PH adjusted) and hydrogenates. $1200 system installed.
Double garage on house. Double work shed with electric roller doors (would fit 4 cars) and is full workshop height. Plenty of space for your storage or perhaps a project.
The house sits on a 1/4 Acre block with most of it fully fenced, gated and locked. Security lights cover all entry points too.

To live here you need to be friendly and not overly reclusive. Willing to be a part of the house ie. share occasional meals or more.. , do your share of chores, and feel free to make this your home. We are not simply renting rooms we are sharing our home and this is our home.. we own it not rent it. So you can be sure we look after it. Any maintenance issues are addressed immediately.
Finances: Rent is $140 per week, per room , with all the bills included. This means electricity, Gas and of course.. the Internet (unlimited). Rent paid 2 weeks in advance. We do not require a bond unless we have doubts about you. If you are a back packer.. then yes: Bond of $400.
If you are a couple.. we add $20 a week/per room to cover the bills. As a couple you need to be careful not to become an island of your own ie antisocial to the household.
If you are a smoker: Outside smoking only, being mindful your smoke does not drift into the house.
Pets: We have chickens and no indoor pets. We do not want indoor pets and if you wish to bring your dog, it must already be proven around chickens – no exceptions. No cats – allergy problems.
The house is extremely clean. I myself suffer from mold and chemical sensitivity so I must be extremely careful with what comes into the home, and I must always keep the house very clean using natural products like soap, vinegar, hydrogen peroxide etc. I also run a $1500 InovaAir E20 plus Air filter when required. The Air cons are cleaned every 3 months during the cooling season and were just cleaned yesterday for Winter. We do not need to use cooling very much as our home is always well ventilated. Your hygiene and cleaning requirements are not open for compromise and we expect common sense to apply. We will never allow one person to compromise the entire home.
Things that might help you decide: We have declined over seven people so far. One tried to gaslight me during the short interview – amazing. Another demanded I move out of my own room for them to rent it. Another wanted to occupy the entire large work-shed with their boat without paying any extra rent.. a few just made me uncomfortable or gave me doubts about the security of future house mates (Females) and so forth. No narcissists or sociopaths. No extremists.. no sex offenders or anyone whom will compromise our security and freedoms. This will be a home first and last. It must always feel like a sanctuary to everyone that lives here. There are no hard and fast rules only common sense which includes being completely considerate of each other. On a final note.. we do not care about your race creed color or orientation or even a health problem (including mental health).. as long as you do not impose your lifestyle on the rest of the house.. you can do what you want. We do not care if you are employed or what you do for work. Your job will not impress us but your character will. As long as you can afford the small rent and can fit in.. you are welcome.
Two house mates.
1. My 79 year old father drives a taxi from Thursday to Monday and goes to bed around 5:30pm waking at around 1:30am. He has his own section of the house which is also sound proofed.
2. Me. 52yo I do various things from my two business's, to writing, to active web content, singing, and study.
Health and relaxation is the focus of our home. It is a home, a sanctuary. A place to let go and wind down. A place to laugh and be creative. A place to recover from the world and a great place to study.
