Lovely 4 bedroom home built in the 1930's located on a quiet street in East Maitland. 5 minute walk to Victoria St Station and Lawes St shops.
2 very sizeable bedrooms (no built-ins) available. One main shared bathroom and separate toilet and shower in laundry. Nice large kitchen with stove, oven and dishwasher- no fridge or washing machine, will hopefully be purchasing and/or renting both before the move in date! Unless potential house mates have their own and are happy to bring/share.
Big backyard with gas BBQ and ping pong table, and a very sweet 12 year old labrador kelpie x
Being built in the 1930's, the house itself has some very charming period features including polished wooden floorboards, picture rails and high, decorative ceilings. The kitchen and bathroom have been renovated and the house has been re-painted on both the interior and exterior.
At present, the house is partially furnished. The available rooms will be empty, however, there is a lounge suite, television, dining table and chairs and quite a few other pieces throughout.
- 4 weeks rent to be paid upfront as a bond, refundable upon moving out so long as no damage is done to the property by tenants
- Smoking is permitted so long as it is done outside
- Internet will be included in the rental cost
- Utilities and bills will be paid separately to the rent and divided evenly between housemates
- Chores/jobs to be negotiated amongst housemates upon moving in
PHOTOS WILL BE ADDED SHORTLY
My partner and I are currently looking for 2 lovely people to move in with us to our cute little home in East Maitland.
I work in retail and my partner, Miguel, works as a chef at the Windsor Castle Hotel. Miguel enjoys sports and, being Argentinian, is a soccer (or should I say "football") fanatic. You will often find him streaming soccer matches online and swearing in Spanish at the screen. He also loves to surf and spend time outdoors.
I like to watch movies and cook and hang out with my friends and family.
We are both very easygoing people and love to have a beer (or 12) and just chill out. That being said we are also very respectful of other people's private space and would expect the same in return.
Ideally we are looking for people who are relaxed, clean and easy to get along with. Probably not looking for anybody under the age of 21 unless you have a strong rental history.
Full disclosure, we would be willing to consider someone older so long as they're aware that we are a young couple and we do occasionally have friends around for drinks and socialising, and this can sometimes go quite late into the night. That being said the house is probably best suited to those in their 20's-30's. Couples welcomed!
Serious enquiries only please. The rooms will be available from the beginning of November but happy to organise an inspection before that time.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me
Look forward to hearing from you!! :)
