Seeking someone that is after a home rather than just a room. If you are friendly, house proud and want somewhere to live that is relaxed and enjoyable this might be the place you are after. The house is huge and has many attractive features including mature gardens ( back and rear), large fully contained kitchen, large and modern double fridge, Asko washing machine, SmartTv connected to Optus, open fire place, separate dining and lounge rooms, front and rear verandas, ducted gas heating, outside bbq and plenty of secure storage. Gardens have fruit trees and there is also a chicken run down the back and veg gardens.
Access to under cover parking a possibility. Street parking is plentiful and safe. Landline available as is the NBN service. Room can be furnished if needed.
House is close to express bus service to Mawson, the Beasily street blue rapid and Civic. Bike paths, local parks and Farrer local shops are 3 minutes walk. Mawson soccer fields and Southlands shopping centre is 10 minutes walk. The Farrer ridge is great for walks.
Property is cool in summer and warm in winter. Owner is contemplating installing solar panels and internal fans.
Owner is a professional, who works full time and travels for work. He is house proud and does the majority of gardening and house cleaning. He has a friendly outdoor lab and cat so you need to be ok with animals.
Existing housemates are responsible, friendly, respectful and basically just very decent people. Neighbours are terrific.
