Nairne is a beautiful little town with two cafe's, a pizza place, an Indian restaurant, a fish and chip shop, a laundromat, a mechanic, an op shop, a post office, a vet and a bakery.
I am a musician and writer, and this little stone cottage is the where my nine year old son and I have lived for three years. We are not there very often, so the quiet, untroubled, peace and privacy would be yours to enjoy most of the time. I use the place to write, record, hold band practice and store a great deal of my instruments and books.
I am offering for rent, the master bedroom, which is twice the size of the other rooms. The lounge room has a wood fire, and the back balcony looks over the garden down towards the creek and little foot bridge.
The front steps touch down on the footpath. I have spent many a sunny morning on those steps with my coffee, watching the street as I play ukulele or read. Many afternoons too.
The house is two doors down from the pub, three doors up from the fish and chip shop, petrol station, and post office. There are three cafe's in town, a bakery and an Indian restaurant.
Oh, and the house is next to a toy store.
