About the property

There are 2 bedrooms available in a prime location in a private double story good sized unique apartment near the beach in Chelsea. Each furnished bedroom is available separately for $280 per week for the larger room and $250 per week for the smaller double bedroom. The cost per week also includes all bills and internet usage for the week. Both upstairs bedrooms have good sized spacious built ins, aircon and heating. There is a gorgeous bathroom upstairs that will be shared by the 2 bedrooms and offers fantastic storage, fantastic natural light, a shower over a small bath and a huge wall mounted mirror. The pine stairs lead down into a large kitchenette area and lounge area. The good sized lounge area is fitted out with a huge, heavy, and solid but extremely comfy modula lounge suit that can comfortably seat up to 6 people, a wall mounted TV DVD, coffee table and storage unit and shelves with cane baskets. The lounge also has a huge retro floor mirror and 2 floor lamps. The entire apartment including the stairs are all well lite with natural lighting. The apartment is inviting and has a warm and cosy fantastic feel. Off from the lounge area is a large kitchenette area. The kitchenette is fitted out with all cooking utensils, microwave, induction bench top cook top and saucepans and pans for use on induction plates. There is heaps of storage in the kitchenette with cupboards draws and a portable shelf pantry. The glass doors from the lounge area lead into the bbq entertainment area which has a glass top dinning table with chairs, large bbq with gas cook plate and cast iron dish for cooking roast dinners. The bbq area also has an outdoor coffee table, extra seating, indoor outdoor plants and is enclosed with bistro blinds, there is a gas heater for use during winter. When the apartment was used as a holiday beach house this bbq area was used numerous times for events such as hens nights, birthday parties and even a wedding. The bbq area is a shared space with the adjoining house at the front of the property. To add to the privacy the yard is completely secured with locked gates and off street parking. All fences are 6 ft with a remote gate for car access. The rear yard is completely fenced and is fenced off from the front yard due to furry four legged friends who live in the front yard. The yard is private and peaceful with trees and garden. Off from the kitchenette area the door leads to a large laundry room that is fitted out with ample shelves, ironing board with iron, front loader washer and beach boards, beach fold up chairs and extra fold away tables for the bbq area. There is a downstairs toilet next to the laundry. Off from the laundry room is a large sunroom which has a huge double door fridge freezer that is also a shared space with the front house on the property. The entrance to the front house is off from the sunroom. The sunroom also has desk and a massage table. There are 2 large rooms that seperate the apartment and the front house on the property so privacy is definately assured. extremely close to Chelsea beach and Chelsea town centre. The apartment is situated in a prime location a very short walk to Chelsea Beach, extremely close and a few minute walk to Chelsea Town Centre, the Chelsea Train station, a good selection of fantastic restaurants and a very short few minute walk to The Long Beach Hotel. Chelsea is a friendly neighbourhood and a fantastic area to make friends and socialise. Having the opportunity to rent a room in such good sized unique apartment that offers so much privacy, good security with high fences and locked gates, and having the beach almost at your back door along with all shops, a supermarket, services, library, and transport makes this a sensational place to live. This apartment is perfect for students or anyone who doesn’t mind sharing an apartment with one other person. The apartment was used as a holiday beach house on Airbnb for almost 3 years up until around a year ago. There have been many guests from around the world some unique people and some famous people. Those who have enjoyed long stays of up to 3 months. The most interesting guests stayed for up to 2 months over the 2017 Christmas & new year period. They were Family of George Harrison from the Beatles and of Eric Clapton. Also Family members of the Fleetwoods, Mick Fleetwood from the band Fleetwood & MAC. About the flatmates

Steve and I live in the house at the front of the property. We have lived here on the beach in Chelsea for just over 4 years and we absolutely love the area. Living so close to the beach is perfect for us and our furry friends Buddy ( a 6 year old Labrador retriever) and Duke ( a 6 year old American Staffie x rottie ). Buddy and Duke live in the front yard which is fenced off from the rear yard. Both Steve and myself are easy going and outdoor people. I work in marketing and travel to the cbd for work. In my spare time I love to paint, garden, socialise or just enjoy the beach. Steve does light work these days after an injury he received while working in the mines in Kalgoorlie. Steve is very experienced with animals and has reared wild life ( eg. hand reared Tasmanian devils, wombats, wallabies, birds and a baby seal ) he has trained horses and spent some years mustering on horse back.
