About the property

Donald Street is definitely the greatest street ever. Out nature strip is photographed by people passing by on a daily basis - Poppy has planted flowers all along it and it's in full bloom and looks lovely.

There are three bedrooms available for rent. All three are currently vacant, so if you get in quickly you can pick your preferred room.

The house is near several tram lines (1, 6, 19) and isn't far from Anstey and Moreland stations. There is a driveway that you can use, along with parking on the street in front of the house. A new Woolworths has opened up right on the end of Donald Street, and there's an IGA and an Italian supermarket very close by (walking distance).

The house is very spacious and has high ceilings. All three bedrooms have closets and are furnished with desks, chairs and beds.

There is no air conditioning, but the house stays completely cool during warmer months (all that 70s style brown brick serves a purpose after all - who would've guessed it!).

There is a huge garden out back. Poppy grows tomatoes, zucchini, lettuce, potatoes, spring onions, olives, plums, oranges and persimmons - you're more than welcome to pick and enjoy all of these fresh fruits and veggies.

About the flatmates

Listing this property on behalf of my lovely grandmother, Poppy.

You'll be sharing the home with Poppy. She is a 79 year old retiree who loves being out in the garden and cooking yummy Greek food. Poppy speaks English (not perfectly, but she knows her stuff!) and she's super friendly.

Poppy has had female students living with her for several years, and they have all recently moved out. The house is now very quiet and Poppy is ready for a new bunch of lovely people to move in and enjoy her home :)
