It has 3 bedrooms, a drawing room, a kitchen, a laundry room, one bathroom and a toilet (separate), a parking and a huge backyard and by "huge" I literally mean "huge" huge. Well, you can move-in now. Rent is all paid for this month. Our lease will expire on January 30th, so you can continue a new one after that or take over our lease and extend it, whatever you want. You can also keep our refrigerator and washing machine which is ours and not of the landlord. House is NBN ready, you just need to give them a call and they will connect it. Well, if you want to arrange an inspection just text me
I'm a Student at UC studying Primary Teaching, and work full time at a school as an LSA. I play/watch soccer and enjoy a beer/wine over a chat, movie, or board-game, but also can enjoy and respect space. Looking for a chilled out household, and hope that I could contribute to that
Looking for a place to live while I study my masters at UC, I come with a gorgeous little kitty named Richard Parker. I am a very healthy active individual that loves an adventure. I like to socialise and have the occasional drink but I'm not a big partier.
I will be moving from Wollongong to CBR to study a master of science communication outreach at ANU in 2019 and am looking for a place near the university to reside next year. Beside study and part-time work commitments I enjoy being outside and staying physically active.
I'm a recent graduate from the University of Sydney and will be commencing medical studies at the ANU in February. I'm very easy going and love good banter, but also like peaceful and quiet environments. I love cooking, reading, exercising and listening to music during my free time.
Hello there! I’m moving to Canberra to study at UC next year and am looking for a room in a share house around $150p/w. I’m planning on driving across from Perth late Jan but am happy to start paying rent earlier so I have a place to go when I arrive haha. I’m a very clean, tidy and organised guy, early to bed and early to rise. I’m pretty active and live a very healthy lifestyle. Love a good healthy, weekly meal prep and don’t often drink (unless everyone else ). I spend quite a bit of time with outdoorsy pursuits hiking, running, camping etc. I have been living in share houses for a few years now with many other housemates so I know how it all works. I’ll also be bringing my doggy with me. She’s a small/medium mixed breed mutt who is super affectionate and friendly. She has a big personality will work her way into your heart (guaranteed). She loves nothing more than to curl up next to you on the couch at the end of a long day, or a short day – pretty much anytime really. She’s house trained and very obedient. I would love to find a house where she can stay inside during that day because I don’t reckon her short hair and slim frame will lend itself to the frigid winters. I’ll be studying full time, working part time and walking the dog part time but when I’m not doing those things I’ll be exploring Canberra or hanging out in the communal areas of the house. I’m pretty social, always up for chat and a yarn - I won’t be spending much time hiding in my room though I do respect peoples need for personal/quiet time. I would love to find a house with peeps I can be friends with and can do housemate activities with. I enjoy living with social people more than anything! Won't be bringing much with me so a furnished room would be ideal but I'm not fussy. Thanks!!
Hello, I am 22yo and have studied music (undergrad) and Speech Pathology (Master's) from UniMelb. I am moving to Canberra from Melbourne for a graduate position at local Hospital. I am also simultaneously pursuing a career as a classical singer so looking for housemates who are ok with some singing before/after work for at least an hour a day. Otherwise, I am fairly easy going and tidy person, who is keen to play netball (hmu if you know any legit or mixed teams), watch the footy (AFL), chill out and meet new people! Looking for a room from mid Feb onwards.
Hi! I'm Ellen, I'm moving back to Canberra to work as a science writer and communicator. I'm a tidy, laidback housemate who respects others' personal space, looking to live with like-minded, friendly people. I enjoy brunch, swimming, bushwalking, and chilling with a cuppa to watch Netflix.
im a bit of a home body, i like to make art and garden and cook and cycle and hike. but I'm home most nights.. im warm and friendly and sociable and open and lgbtq friendly. pretty much all is good with me. i try to keep clean but i care more about organization. I'm not a clean nazi so no worries there. i don't know, I'm just a guy, making through the day..
I'm a first-year environmental science student at UC in my second semester and also working casually as an after school carer. I'm a fairly easy going person and am happy to socialise, but also need some downtime to myself. I'm clean and respectful of others property.
Just finished my first year of medical school at ANU and am looking for somewhere to stay long term. I'm a hard working student, but easy to get along with and always up for a chat. In my (often minimal) spare time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, being a food enthusiast, and a glass of wine here and there.
Howdy future roommate(s) :-). It looks like i'm yet another graduate moving to Canberra in Jan/Feb for work lol. There are so many of us. I was originally looking to rent something for myself... but so expensive right!!! So i'm moving up from Melbourne and hoping to find some awesome, like minding housemate to either move in with or get together and rent a new place with. So a little about me... I'm 31 and starting a Grad position with Department of Defence in early February. I studied International Relations in Melbourne, but did business and science previously as well. I love the outdoors and often go hiking and get to the snow as often as I can. Good thing i'm moving to Canberra right. I'm pretty active, like to keep fit, but otherwise spend my time outside of work catching up with friends for dinner/drinks, reading, cooking, playing a bit of guitar and finding spontaneous adventures to go on. And I love dogs... so if you have any... points to you haha. I've been living with housemates for the past 3 years so i'm well house trained. I'm super chill at home and more than happy to share a wine and cook a yummy dinner with my housemates, or of course, give people their space and alone time when needed :-). What i'm looking for... Looking for somewhere with a bit of character and something that has a homely feel to it. Hoping to find some roommates that I can be friends with and share the same interests as me. I'm not fussy with age or gender. I have an apartment full of furniture in Melbourne that I can either bring with me or sell and start fresh. Hope to find some peeps soon and start organised life's next adventure :-)
Clean and tidy, kind and courteous. I study at UC and work part-time, I'm very friendly and sociable. I've shared before too, so I have experience and good references. I'm wanting to team up with 2-3 people to rent a 4-5 bedroom house around $700/wk in a North Canberra suburb. If you're interested please send me a message.
Hi, I recently started a new engineering job in Canberra, originally from Melbourne and I am currently looking for some fine folk(s) to share a home with in Canberra. I am looking for a place with decent access to public transport, near-ish to shops and with a garage or shed that I can keep a couple of bikes. I also have some furniture from sharehouses past. A bit about me, my hobbies include cycling, games (electronic and tabletop), I enjoy making (and consuming) interesting food and happy share this with people. I used to be a bartender and I enjoy maintaining those drink making and tasting skills with others and chatting about stuff and things. I consider myself to be house trained and I am happy help out around the house to keep communal spaces tidy and with chores. Generally, I am pretty chilled out, I am looking for people to live with, not a bunch of strangers to share a house with.
I have probably most accurately been described as "that busy Buddhist". I like to balance myself with the right combination of driven, social and zen. Coming up to Canberra from Melbourne to join the DET grad program; I like board games, hikes, dinners and coffee with friends (and housemates) and getting up early because I am an odd morning person. I am looking for a place that balances enjoying each others company with understanding that we gots our own lives. Somewhere to feel comfortable both when I'm craving a chin-wag and when I want to crash in my room and mediate all night. Hit me up if this sounds about right!
Our names are Amelia and Rachelle and we are looking at existing rooms in a share house or team ups. We have been living together for a while now but have recently found out that our landlord is selling. We are open to a number of areas in Canberra with a preference to the Inner North, Inner South and Central Belconnen. We are also flexible with rent depending on the size and bathroom situations, but ideally $250 pw per person. We are both young professionals working in the city. We love getting outdoors, having a wine after a long week and always happy to chat. We respect privacy and personal space, are clean and pull out weight around the house. Look forward to getting in touch :)
Writer and PhD student and academic at ANU; vego but unconcerned about what anyone else eats. Love walking, hiking, wildlife, art, and coffee. Non-smoker, non-drinking but happy for other folks to drink, no pets but happy to live with other people's animal friends.
I am a very sociable person (but fall well short of being a party animal). I've just finished my degree, and having spent 3.5 years as a student, I know the value of privacy for both myself and others. I don't smoke, nor do I use recreational drugs, and I only drink sporadically. I'm a reasonably tidy person who is more than happy to help out with housework. I love football (both playing and watching), gaming, and watching classic-era Simpsons in my spare time.
I'm a Yoga teacher, dancer, photographer, nature-lover. I'm very tidy, thoughtful and responsible. I am independent with a full life, but I also enjoy the buzz and colour of communal living with good-hearted and gentle people. I like to live in places with beautiful light and near to nature.
I'm a very relaxed easy going person who generally likes to keep to herself but will have a chat and enjoy a drink with housemates and friends occasionally. I work and study and have a lot of extra curricular activities, so I'm not often sitting around at home. My super friendly staffy x, Gary, is a delight if I do say so myself. He spends the days outside but spends the nights inside and sleeps in my room.
