Such as your age, job or study, personality, expectations of the house or housemates or anything you'd like to mention? Thanks heaps. Hi, I’m running this lovely house as the lease holder. Soon we’ll have a large granny flat studio available. It's attached to the main house in which you can share the other facilities with 3 housemates. NO couple is accepted. How's it like: 1 Furniture: The studio itself is UNFURNISHED but with a free large bookshelf and clothes racks if you'd like to keep. It has no bathroom but a separate toilet and sink. The main house is well furnished for use. 2 Kitchen: There is no separate kitchen in the studio and you need to share one inside the house within a few steps away. Hi, I am an international student studying accounting at University of Canberra. I love to make new friends but I also respect their privacy. I would prefer to stay very close to the university since it's my first time here. I am from India and I pretty much adjust to anyone, except smokers.I don't smoke neither do I drink. I don't have any problem with you drinking if that's the case.
I'm an easy going person, happy to have a night in or a night out! I don't smoke, not the biggest fan of drugs for myself, but wont judge you! I've only been to Canberra once, so you might get some stupid questions from be about where things are, or be asked to tag along to all the tourist things! I have a dog named Mia, she is ~3 and is a rescue. Not sure of her breed she is pretty big, but she is a sweet dog. The only thing she wants is a bit of attention and maybe food! I'll be available to move in from November!
Hi! I'm a 24-year old male currently living in Sydney, looking for a place down in Canberra as I have recently accepted a graduate position with an animal health organisation; I'd be looking to move down quite soon (mid/late October - early November). I'm a pretty laid-back person, and not much of a party-er. Things I enjoy: tennis, bushwalks/hikes, baking/cooking, skiing, jogging, sleeping in, reading (mainly fiction), playing the keyboard (don't worry, I only play with headphones) and days at the beach. Let me know if there's anything else you'd like to know!
Hello :-) I'm a British guy currently studying on exchange at the ANU until next July. As a person, I'm sociable and enjoy a good natter! But also keen to respect housemates space and privacy. My days and evenings are generally spent working on assignments or playing sport - mostly cricket now the summer is arriving! I'm also a big movie fan so would appreciate a partner on a cinema trip now and then. I'm very clean and enjoy keeping things neat and tidy :-) Hope to meet you soon! Cheers, Dan
Hi. I'm an easy-going, tidy, reliable, respectful, and responsible flatmate. I'm looking for a room, preferably furnished and with own ensuite/bathroom. I have a great job - I'm a UX Designer - and sometimes travel for work. I enjoy travel, trivia, board games, movies (especially foreign and arthouse), TV/Netflix, cooking, swimming and reading.
Hey! I'm currently studying full-time at UC and working a hospitality part-time job. I have been living in Canberra for nearly 2 years coming from the Central Coast. I like to be social and chat but also like privacy and can respect the same for others. I am clean and willing to pitch in where and when it is needed. I'm easy going and enjoy having or good laugh or listening to some good tunes.
Hi! My name's Islay, and my partner's name is Jacob. We're looking for a 6 month to 12 month (or more) place that is within around 15mins drive to the city (if possible)! We're laid-back, chill people who are looking forward to a fresh living space. A little about us: We both study at ANU - I study science (biochemistry and cell/molecular biology) and Jacob studies engineering (renewable energy and theoretical physics [he's definitely the smart one!]), which is what takes up most of our time during the week. On weekends, we both work our respective jobs. We're a busy couple, but in our down time we like to cook together, take walks and watch movies (usually sci-fi). Please let us know if we sound like the kind of people you'd like to share with. We're always up for a chat :)
Hi everyone, We are two Canberrans looking to move into a share-house from mid-November onward. Ellie is a young professional. She describes herself as super lame, and enjoys cooking, the outdoors and a drink. Ashleigh is an ANU student. She loves the ocean and the outdoors. She also survives mainly on peanut butter toast (so you won't have to worry about her hogging the kitchen). We are both friendly and social, but also like our down time. We are looking for another clean, friendly student/young professional to team up with/join our house. Flick us a message if you're interested, and we can organise to meet up & get a coffee. - Ellie and Ash
Hello! I am a young professional in my late twenties. I am often described as thoughtful, playful, and tolerant by those who know me. I consider myself very tidy, clean, and respectful. I am looking to share a house/flat of mixed gender, ideally with other professionals, but students are fine too. Preferably 3-4 people (including myself). I love animals, so pets are not a problem. (That said, I do not have any pets of my own and won't be bringing or acquiring any). I love good food, outdoors, exploring new places, trying new things, exercise and lead an active lifestyle. Well maybe not as much as those who live in lycra and compete in sports... but I do enjoy the fresh air. I also enjoy being a home body, and would be happy curled up on the couch with a glass of red, playing board games with whomever is up for a chat. I am a clean and organised person, but I don't go nuts with cleaning rosters. I believe we're all capable of pitching in with the cleaning when needed and when it's not inconvenient to do so. That said, I'd prefer not to live in a pig sty. If I sound like the right flatmate to you, shoot me a message, introducing yourself and the other tenants. Thanks! P.S. I do want to be part of a home and get to know you all, not just living with flat mates, however I have a preference to do my own cooking. Happy to participate in house dinners every now and then, especially the spontaneous ones, but I don't want to be committed to three different dinners cooked by three different people each week. My cap for shared dinners is probably once a week i.e. someone different takes a turn to cook every Tuesday, rather than three different people cooking three different days in the same week. P.P.S. I cannot live without a dishwasher. They are the best thing ever invented and I will use it religiously. Criteria: - Built in Robes (with lots of hanging space and shelves). This is non-negotiable. - Room that can fit a Queen Bed, side table, lots of other boxes/things etc. - Car port/ undercover parking with automatic doors. - En suite (preferable, but not a must. Happy to share a bathroom with one other, but no more). - Lots of storage space (inside the house - not a storage cage) - Dishwasher - Housemates that are not hermits - Age of household: 25-35. Ideally, I would like to live with people who are around my age, and are social.
I'm moving to Canberra in January to begin work as a 2018 APS grad. Currently I'm finishing up my psychology degree in Newcastle, then will be travelling in Europe for a couple of months and moving down to Canberra after the new year. I start work on January 31 but happy to move in earlier and get settled into a place. Interested in meeting new people, getting to know Canberra, playing sports etc. I'm looking to a find a place within walking/cycling distance to Civic and ideally close to shops, restaurants. Prefer a place where everyone is clean and tidy, friendly, open for a chat and just generally laid back.
Leaving home and leaving college temporarily, I'm happy to do washing and clean the place as I have lots of spare time. Looking for full-time employment currently so I'm set to rent my own place after a few months of saving :) Until then I am part-time. My social life is a little dead so no huge parties or anything
I'm originally from central NSW, moved to Wollongong for uni and then came to Canberra in 2015 for a job in the public sector. I'm a seasoned veteran of the sharehouse, I'm super tidy and respectful of others' spaces. I haven't had any conflicts with my previous housemates to date and while I'm probably a bit more inclined to do my own thing than most I'm by no means a social hermit. I'm happy to accommodate your friends if the sentiment can be returned. I love traveling (actually I'm returning from a trip to the USA at the moment, hence looking for a place), also enjoy cycling and motorcycling, reading, Netflix binges, craft beer appreciation sessions and stimulating conversations about history, politics, society or pretty much anything if you're knowledgeable and passionate about it. If you think you could live with me or you have any other questions, please don't be shy! Cheers
Hi there! I'm an active young woman who works for Cisco out at Brindabella Park. I grew up here, so plenty of local knowledge. I don't have pets just YET, but I'm planning on rescuing a doggo or two, because I love dogs and also they're the key to happiness. This means that, if possible, I'd love a place with a yard. It doesn't have to be massive, as I'm in the habit of walking any dogs I have twice a day, every day. I regularly go to the gym - Eighty8 near my work, Anytime Fitness, and BlocHaus climbing gym - so I'm out of the house until quite late on weekdays. On weekends, I like relaxing around the house, moaning about being tired, then finally dragging myself off my butt to buy expensive brunch like the usual entitled millennial (but I hate avocado - ask me why I haven't bought a house yet!) and hang out with my mates. I am not at all a morning person; in fact I hate them. And I'm also not really a party person unless someone else does all the work and drags me out the door. I'm really not suited to a student household or a house with more than two other people - I've done my time in massive sharehouses, and I'm not about that life anymore. I do like cooking, but I'm pretty boring, because I usually bulk cook everything once a week and then eat frozen leftovers. Sometimes I feel inspired and make cakes/biscuits/assorted baked goods which I expect to share, because please take all those sweet things away from me. I definitely have too many clothes, so expect to triple your wardrobe if you're a size 8/shoe size 7, because I share. If you're a bloke, you can share too, but don't stretch out anything expensive! I enjoy video games, and I have a nice PC and an Xbox 360 (yes, I refuse to update, that workhorse is still going strong). I also read a lot! In summary: - One or two other people to share; - Small yard for a doggy; - Not a party animal; - Tragically single, so no bf/gf to awkwardly meet, but occasional sobbing; - Sometimes sing in the shower, but am actually decent; - Unfortunately shed long blonde hair everywhere; - Don't smoke, do drink infrequently; - Relaxed, full time employed, also I smell nice.
I am a clean and tidy, friendly, easy going, relaxed housemate that is just as happy to socialize as well as do my own thing. Looking for a new place to move in to as soon as possible for at least several months while I am trying to sell my house and buy a new one. I haven't rented for a while but I am always reliable with all rent and bills.
Jens and I are 23 and 22 years old, both from Germany and both studying Physics. Jens has graduated already and is going to start his PhD in Astrophysics at ANU. Therefore he will be living in Canberra for at least a few years. I am doing my Masters in Physics and I will come to Canberra to write my Masters thesis in a research group at ANU for about six months. We both like sports and the outdoors a lot and love to go mountainbiking, hiking, skiing, swimming, surfing,... Both of us have lived in shared flats before and like to consider ourselves as pretty uncomplicated as well as clean and tidy. Of course we are always up for a chat or sharing a meal with our flatmates :)

Hi, I'm a student teacher finishing my masters in teaching. I'm relaxed and friendly :) I have a small spoodle (spaniel x poodle) named Digby. Because he is a poodle breed he does not shed fur. He's fully house-trained, pretty quiet and loves people. Ideally I'd like to find a place with a small yard for him to run around in. I work part-time and am also a free lance illustrator. My other interest is swing dancing, I generally spend two to three nights a week dancing.

My roomie are very clean and pay attention to hygiene. So if you are a clean person, I hope you contact me. Thank you!!
Hi there thanks for checking my profile, I am making a big move from sunny Brisbane to cool Canberra. I am very chilled and easygoing guy, always clean after myself. Love chatting with my flatmates and the occasional drink as well as hangout once in a while. I am a software professional and I am working for a Canberra based office and will be moving from Brisbane start of November. Looking for a place to move into with friendly and responsible flatmates ideally a bit close to the city(no particular suburb). I am fairly active and and keep myself busy most evenings either having dinner with friends(although I do not know many people in Canberra yet), going to the gym and I love latin dancing, have been doing that for years and end up going to some of those events few nights a week. I try to play a few sports but but almost bad at all of them(still play for fun)! When I am home I love to watch movies, some TV shows, cook sometimes, relax and have a conversation and work some times. I am not a party animal but like partying once in a while. I am a professional, working part time as a dentist and looking for a clean and tidy shared accommodation, preferably ensuite with good sunlight and fresh air. I like socialising and I am an easy going person. I have been living in Canberra for 1.5 years and have no plans of relocating to any other city for at least 6 months. I have no pets but I love being around dogs. I love listening to music, trying different activities and meeting new people. I am very clean, tidy and organised and respect others' privacy.
I'm bubbly, caring, clean and fairly easy going. I work full time in Belconnen and am looking for an unfurnished room/house in the Belconnen area. I do have a one year old cat called Pumba, who is an absolute sweetheart and loves cuddles. He's completely house trained and knows his boundaries so you have no need to worry about him scratching your furniture or anything. I'm looking for likeminded people to share with who don't mind being social and having a drink or two and enjoying the occasional weekend BBQ. If you think you fit the bill send me a message!!
I am a Malaysian born Chinese guy who has lived in Sydney since 2004. I recently accepted a hospital pharmacist role in Canberra and will need a place ASAP! I enjoy making conversation and chilling out, but I also love a good night out. In saying that I still like quiet time so I'd like to think I can be flexible with where I live. I've been mostly an indoor activities person but the plan is to do more outdoors! Currently training for running events and the occasional hike (when it isn't too cold or raining).
Hey I’m Elana, I moved to Canberra from Melbourne at the start of the year to study Interior Architecture at the University of Canberra. I have lived on campus accomodation for nearly 2 semesters now, am very interested in moving out since the tenants on campus are very rowdy and I want a more quiet and relaxed environment to live in. I enjoy binge watching tv shows, excellent coffee and love cats! I am clean and mostly keep to myself but always up for a chat.
I will be moving down to Canberra from Sydney to work in the public service in January 2018. I have an easy-going, bubbly personality. Although I will be busy working full-time I also enjoy playing sport when I can, going out to cafes and a bit of Netflix in my spare time. I am a very organised, tidy person looking for preferably a female house mate / house mates. I enjoy my own space but am also very social and love a good chat. I am looking to move in around January of next year. Closer to the CBD would be better, but it doesn't bother me too much.
