Looking forward to finding a place in the Tumut area for the next few months after I start work with the NPWS in March. I'm easy to get along with, love a bushwalk or a casual beer or two.

Private and easy going lease on offer. I can't afford rent on my own. I'm listing this 4 bedroom house out that I'm sharing with a house mate currently, she is a cool easy going girl and is barely home through the week anyway. Home is furnished apart from the bedrooms. There is only one bathroom sadly but i have never had any issues with it and the house mate. The house is a dog friendly but im not a fan of cats, however depending what it is ill consider it. There is no heating other then a fire place, its pretty old but the owner said she will replace it but up untill now it's been awesome and cheap. I am not a smoker but the house is smoker friendly and 420 friendly if your that way inclined lol. There is internet and netflix, All rent and bills are split evenly ill spot the Internet & Netflix but 😊 Regards parking there is a car port which I use but there is alot of parking in the front yard as the house sits far back on the block. I try make rent any moving in as simple as possible as I know how hard all this can be. If your interested please let me know. Chris.
Hi potential future housemates. My name is Meg, and I'm a beginning teacher. I'm looking for a pet-friendly place to call home, preferably in the Belconnen area. About me: I'm a 28-year-old female. I'm vegetarian, but don't mind what you eat. I'm fairly left-wing and non-religious. My interests include art (mostly sculpting), walking and running, reading, writing, watching TV/movies, drinking tea, discussing politics/philosophy/the meaning of life, chilling with friends, outdoor adventures, board games, and experiencing new things. I'm starting out in my teaching career, and will probably be focussed on work over the next few months. I am fluent in Auslan (Australian Sign Language). I have a car and a motorbike. About my pets: (it sounds like a lot, but you'll only really see the dog) 1 Dog (young bichon frise) - Micky is a small, hypoallergenic (non-shedding) dog who will probably live with me part-time. He is young (8 months), and training is ongoing, but is friendly and loveable. He is an inside dog, and will need a dog door and a small yard. He is attending puppy school. He would probably love another dog for company, but I would have to see how he gets on with other pets before committing to a place. I have no idea how he would get on with a cat. 2 guinea pigs - Titian and Smudge are male guinea pigs. They live exclusively outdoors. They will need a semi-sheltered section of yard for their hutch. Beyond that, you won't notice they exist unless you choose to interact with them (in which case, they are quite cuddly). 3 cockatiels - I have three cockatiels that live in a movable cage. They are used to living indoors, but could be relocated to a sheltered outdoor area (such as a covered verandah). Cockatiels can be quite noisy. Again, you would not have to have any interaction with them unless you chose to. I'm looking for: A room, granny flat or studio in a place with a yard and a small dog door. I have a car, a motorbike and a pushbike. I'm happy for my car to be parked on-street, but would prefer my motorbike and pushbike to be out of sight of the road. I'm looking for laid-back housemates who are happy to hang-out occasionally and have a chat, but are also happy to do their own thing. My budget is up to $200/week, but would pay more if bills are included. If you're interested, you can contact me on *oh for to five nine three oh seven ate ate* (written this way so it's not picked up by spam bots).
I am a tidy person to live with. I am friendly and always up for a chat. I work part time at the moment with two jobs. Ive lived in Canberra my whole life and would love to experience living out of home. I love to cook and bake and go for walks. I would prefer to live north side Canberra as it would be more convenient for work and visiting family
Not into big houses full of people? Do you prefer a quiet established home base away from the hustle and bustle? If so, this fantastic, spacious 2BR town-house on the edge of Holt is just the thing. A private rental with good neighbours and nice owners, this established place has new bamboo flooring, a new hot-water tank, a wall mounted heating/cooling unit (Fujitsu), a separate laundry and separate store room, nice gardens, a private seating area out the back door. There is an IGA, a hair dresser, cafe and Indian restaurant around the corner with Kippax Shops just down the road. A bus stop is literally just out the front. (bus 44 and 904). Bedrooms: The spacious bedroom (3m x 3.8m) can easily fit a double bed. It has ample BIRs and full length windows looking out to the gardens. The bedroom has a bench/desk area for study/work, meditation, nick-knacks, whatever. The two rooms are separated by a single shared bathroom (with an actual bath; bonus!). The kitchen/lounge: The common area is a spacious open floor plan (one room basically) with a new polished bamboo flooring. The kitchen is new, clean, and has ample cupboard space, plus a dish washer I never use. I have most furniture but could fit a little extra if you have it. I have a small fridge (which unfortunately recently died) so we need another fridge. The separate laundry is 7-8m from the main house which is next to the separate lockable storage shed (3m x 2m x 2.5m) next to the covered car port. The car port is yours (if needed) as I do not have a car. There is one guest park out front. Internet: Unlimited ADSL 2+ is included in the rent. I have studied electronics and do some computer tech support so the Internet is set up and maintained well. Me: A non-smoking vegetarian (not essential that you are) in my late 40s. A sensible, down to earth and easy going guy who keeps busy with my own projects. I am an avid researcher into topics ranging from science to sociology, psychology to spirituality (non-religious), chemistry to alchemy, sustainability, law, encryption, and more. Focusing on solutions, I am a private urban Permaculture consultant/designer, working out of home mostly, so I come and go depending on work, projects, clients, etc. (I visit clients, they rarely come here). I mostly prefer trance, ambient/relaxation and some folk music. I like to go to movies or dinner with a small number of close friends, and I like to meditate periodically. A bit of a late owl, I am quiet, respectful and considerate. You: The usual - a sensible, responsible, friendly and easy going adult (with a slight preference for a female, no agenda I assure you) who does their fair share around the place and can run their own life. You don't need to be a neat freak, just generally clean and tidy. (It is a home after all not a hotel :) ). With only 3 main rooms it is a pretty low maintenance place. Prompt with rent/bills is essential! We both have our own lives to live but who wants to live with a closed off hermit right? I enjoy chatting with intelligent free thinking people from time to time on the deeper subjects of life, but I also respect personal space and understand we are often busy with our own lives. Legal: I have the 12-month lease on the whole property and you will be a sub-tenant (landlord knows and approves). Available 13th March (possibly earlier), we will sign a standard residential tenancy agreement. Rent is $195/wk (includes water and unlimited Internet, ADSL 2+). Bond is $760 and will be deposited to ORB (Office of Rental Bonds). Electricity is extra and split equally. Re photos - the mattress is my spare and only for size reference. The place looks empty but is now obviously mostly furnished (a 3-seater divan/lounge, bookshelves, two computer desks, etc). That about covers it. Thanks for your time. If this lovely place looks like it might suit your needs, please contact me and we can take it from there. Cheers. :)
Try my best to keep to myself with studying and working 2 jobs, teaching and entertaining kids, but definitely down for a chat. Don't mind what you eat but I'm vegan myself so I go through quite a few bananas and tubs of hummus. Don't have pets myself but would love yours!
I am a clean and tidy, friendly, easy going, relaxed housemate that is just as happy to socialize as well as do my own thing. Looking for a new place to move in to as soon as possible for at least several months while I am trying to sell my house and buy a new one. I haven't rented for a while but I am always reliable with all rent and bills. I am a builder and have a ute and trailer that I need to be able to park safely and a few tools that I would like to store in the corner of a lock up garage if possible.
Hi there, I'm Tahlia, a 23 yo female, a bit about myself, I have 2 jobs, one at The Basement in Belconnen as a bar tender which is a lot of fun to work at since music is a big deal to me, its also an awesome place to go for a few drinks aswell :) my second job is at Kmart which i will be starting soon. My Hobbies: I am very much into my gaming, mostly World Of Warcraft in my own time and i do enjoy having a casual game with friends, even when it comes down to some board or card games :) I am also big into comics, my favorites to read are things such as Deadpool, Batman, The walking dead series, and more, one of my favorites would have to be The Killing joke :) I love my music as i stated above, and binge watching tv shows on netflix is always a good time. I am a pretty happy friendly bubbly person who loves to have a beverage or even a cup of coffee with friends/ room mates here and there, but i also respect everyones privacy and personal space. I am very clean, i always clean up after myself and i like to keep the house generally tidy. I also have 2 dogs, they are my life, my children even and i will never part with them, Carlin is a 2 y/o female Irish wolfhound cross mastiff Daxter is a 1 y/o male Irish wolfhound cross bull arab They are like mini versians of wolfhounds haha both super super well behaved, and toilet trained and even know a fair few cool tricks :P if you have any other questions for me please feel free to message me :)
After a break-up, I'm moving from Sydney to Canberra for a sea-change. I'm looking for work in Canberra at the moment similar to my current position as a Digital Interface Designer (I design apps and websites). Shouldn't take me long at all to find a new job. I've got a very friendly 3 year old Irish Wolfhound x St Bernard dog, who though excitable when playing, often just loves nothing more than to snooze, especially after her daily walk. I cook, clean, and am pretty good with handywork and gardening, and am a pretty sociable dude around the house. I play a lot of instruments, and wanna get back into jamming, so other musicians are appreciated too. I've been renting with my now ex-girlfriend since I was 19, and if you're not a slob, I'll be motivated not to be either. I'll be home fairly often, apart from regular office hours. I've got an entire house worth of furniture - just BYO bedroom. I'm looking for a 2+ bedroom house or townhouse anywhere in Canberra, I'm not really fussed, as long as it's a decent and safe area. Probably only looking for 1 housemate, but I could budge if it were the right place and right people.
Fully furnished with queen bed built in robe..bed side tables and lamps and bedding. Recently renovated house with polished timber floors. Opens onto balcony. Has fabulous views. Large fully furnished attractive home on a large block surrounded on two sides by reserve. 7km to Belconnen shopping centre, 9 km to UC and 18km to ANU and Canberra City Centre. Has shed for bikes and ski gear. On blue line bus route to city.
Our home in Dunlop is a spacious open plan 3 bedroom house. Has large back yard and large covered outdoor entertainment area. Plenty of offstreet parking located in a very peaceful battlelax place.10 mins walk to shops. 2 mins to bus stop. 10 mins to Belconnen town centre and UC and 20 mins to city and ANU.
One large unfurnished bedroom to rent in a large 4 bedroom share house located in a very quiet Dunlop Street. The room has a purple painted feature wall (see pictures) and a large built-in wardrobe Shared bathroom with 2 others, rent is $120 per week with quarterly electricity, gas and internet (unlimited) bills split evenly 4 ways. It's less than 5 minutes from local shops (both Dunlop & Charnwood Woolies), 10 minute drive from Belconnen town centre and 20 minutes to the City. Bond is 4 weeks rent, no couples or pets (sorry), and you must be clean as we like to keep a tidy house.
Close to bus, shops, University of Canberra and on bus route to ANU. Room has heating and cooling, a queen size bed, full size built in robe, and optional desk available for students. Your housemates would be out most days but home most nights and weekends so would suit a shift worker or full time university student. Happy to consider negotiating rent in exchange for services of value, such as babysitting, housework, etc. Would prefer someone that will not bring tons of friends back to the house and, if in a relationship, will spend more time at the other half's house. See below for reasons. Rent includes all bills. My Wi-Fi is not unlimited so I would need to place restrictions in its use (ie. no excessive downloading of movies, games, etc). I also have Stan, Netflix, a BBQ and outdoor chill out area. I even have garden space for those that like to grow their own veg.
I am a lively 52 yr old from Adelaide who moved here recently and I need stable accomadation. I am clean, can cook and I smoke. Love music, reading, tv/movies and generally am quiet.
