I am a very clean and quiet person and like to keep to myself - so don't expect any parties from me. I do like having the occassional board game or movie night though! Quiet non smoker, Full time shift worker, so I sleep during the days some times, respectful, non drama, pets are ok but unfortunately I'm allergic to some animals, Im always happy to pitch in fixing things and gardening, Im hoping to find a place too stay for about 6 months longer if possible, happy to cook not vegan or vegetarian but like cooking them and like cleaning, hate mess, feel free to swing me a message and we can see if i fit with you, also keen to find a new house, that would b groovie. Im looking to move within the next month is possible.
From NZ, down to earth. New start for me. Love the area and atmosphere over there! Looking to get into a bit of fitness to help the aging process. Love the outdoors, not so much a beach bum though. Animal lover. Not a party animal but social drinks are ok! New life, new beginnings
Hi, I’m moving to the area to work with the Northern NSW Health health promotion team and looking for a place to live as I’m moving here from Newcastle. I’m easy going, a respectful housemate, clean and tidy. I try to lead a pretty healthy lifestyle and like going on adventures. I enjoy meeting new people and love going to new places and trying new foods. I have no pets but I love animals and would be happy to live with someone with pets.
I'm hoping to find a long-term home for at least a year or longer, if all works out well. I definitely like calm and quiet in my home environment, although I do enjoy relating with people when it happens, and having thoughtful and thought-provoking conversations. But basically I'm quite self-contained, independent and enjoy being quiet. Re shared areas; I believe I'm a very considerate, aware and respectful sharer of space. I leave the most minimal footprint possible and clean up as immediately as possible after creating food in the kitchen. As far as my life style/interests are concerned: I'm a retired teacher who worked with Indigenous adolescents in central Australia for several years, and before that in Wilcannia and northern NSW. I'm now studying a three year Dru Yoga Teacher Training course; I attend two Dru yoga classes a week, one a private class in Mullum, and one in Byron. I'm a regular volunteer at the Northern Rivers Community Gallery in Ballina (one or two shifts a week) I have my own income. I'm a creative who delights in the aesthetic in all aspects of living and I deeply value feeling connected to nature. I'm a keen gardener and enjoy planting food, herbs and flowers. I love eating good food and cooking, particularly different ethnic foods. I eat a vegetarian diet, but I'm not rigid about it. I guess if I were asked to encapsulate what I love and believe in, one word would have to be *diversity* and one concept would have to be *unity in diversity*. I'm a traveller and a seeker and always will be. Suffice it to say I can wax lyrical about things I feel passionate about, and act upon them as well. I look forward to connecting with anyone who shares similar values.
This accommodation may be well suited to (but not limited to) persons seeking a natural way of life on a 15-acre property, just minutes’ drive to Lismore and Goonellabah. The bedrooms are available for long or short-term rent. They're comfortable, fresh and with a north and east facing windows (north windows overlooks a dam) With curtains open, they have a feeling of bringing nature indoors. both have a built-in wardrobe. The single size room has a king single bed and bedside cabinet. The double size room has a queen size bed and bedside cabinet. Our home is surrounded by lush lawn, gardens, dam and pasture, with cool tree shaded areas to relax in. The property is part of a koala corridor, and they frequent our trees. Wallabies and kangaroos are also regular visitors, and an abundance of birdlife that take advantage of the many trees and water (up to 20 wild ducks are seen on our dams daily). The bathroom is clean and modern (shared between the 2 rooms), large lounge / TV room and large modern country kitchen with open plan dining + TV entertainment area. I am a clean living, non-smoking male (in a relationship). I’m into real-food, meditation, gardening, growing vegetables and fruit, and living naturally. The property may be suitable for pets (individual assessment required). You will need your own transport. (School bus available on school days only – 300 meter walk to bus stop) 30 minutes to cycle to the nearest shopping centre. The garden has about 30 fruit trees and vines. A sense of community is encouraged, however if you prefer to keep to yourself this will be respected and welcomed. The rooms are large enough to make a very private abode. The rooms are also very quiet and cool, with a ceiling fan and insulation to walls and ceiling. NBN Wi-Fi available. This may also suit persons wanting to keep a horse; we have yards, secure fencing and good pasture – this will be by individual negotiation. Hey! I'm from Brisbane and I recently got a promotion with work and need to move to Lismore asap. I'm easy to get along with, honest and upfront, and always clean up after myself. I like going to the gym, to the beach, going hiking, playing volleyball, and eating my weight in chocolate. If you have a Netflix addiction, we will get along fine 😊 I'm just looking for someone who's easy to get along with and has a good sense of humour.
