I am starting an acting course in Ballarat next year, looking to move there from Bendigo. I like reading, old movies, and being around good people. I'm not fussy about my accommodation: I don't need furnishings or anything fancy. Just something inexpensive.
I already have a listing on here. I am wearng a blue print top and have my hair in a plait. (Glitch) I am an editor, writer and administrator, and currently work virtually via the internet most of the time. I am interested in arts, books, basketball, hiking and travelling. I clean up after myself with special care in the bathroom and kitchen. I have relatives and friends locally but wouldn't mind making some more. I am quiet but don't mind conversation if that is what you want.
Hi! I'm looking to find a share house in Ballarat! I'm a relaxed single mother of a boy turning six in April who visits his dad every second weekend. He's a great kid who sleeps well will be at school all day. I'm moving in to Ballarat from a while out so I can be closer to uni. I love to cook (and I'm happy to cook for the household) and consider myself to be quite clean and tidy. I'm open to the odd house party or games night, but I don't know many people in town and I'm happy to keep to myself. Finding somewhere with good internet is essential and would prefer somewhere with a yard. Pets are absolutely negotiable as I do love animals. I spend my evening time playing games or studying. Max $125 for rent and bills per room (I would require two) and would love to find someone who is in it for a couple of years.
Hey guys, my name's Madi I am a 26 year old paramedic who is being relocated rural for work for approx the next 12 months so I am looking for a new sharehouse. My job is shift worker hours but I'm not pedantic about noise, I'm at a normal cleanliness level, I clean up after myself and when I'm not at work I spend most my time at the gym or binging on some netflix. Just as happy with my own time as socialising. Ideally would love to get a dog so pet friendly would be great but not necessary. Ta!
Hi, I'm a veterinarian about to move to Ballarat from Melbourne. I start my new job on the 7th of January and will be working during the day, mostly during the week but also one in four Saturdays. I'm very into my music and my food and love attending gigs and going out to eat. I also play the drums so a place with room to store my kit would be ideal. Also really enjoy cooking and so would prefer somewhere that has gas cooking and a dishwasher. I will clean up after myself and be respectful of others. I'm interested in making new friends and meeting new people. I plan to go back to Melbourne whenever I can, especially on the weekend. I'm wanting to move some time in the first couple of weeks in January.
Hi there, I am looking for a place to stay from Monday - Thursday night, for about 6 months. I'll be doing my intern 6 months at the Ballarat base hospital in this period. I am friendly and easy going, happy to engage in conversations but I do like to have my downtime :)
Hi My name is Matt. I am friendly, honest and a very good listener. Currently looking for a short term rental until my new workplace is confirmed. Have a lovely day. Cheers.
Hi, I am a Web Developer. In a few months time, I am planning to move to Ballarat for my higher studies in Federation University. I hope to find a good place to live in, which is affordable and near my uni. I am very easy going person. I like to keep my room tidy. Please let me know if you have a shared room for rent. :)
I’m a second year Physiotherapy student at ACU and am currently working as a bike builder in Melbourne. I am friendly, sociable and considerate of others. I enjoy the cooking and the great outdoors, particularly running, bike riding and surfing. I am respectful of others, and value having neat and tidy communal spaces. I am looking for a place to stay whilst I am at University this year.
I am currently studying at ACU, and looking for some laid back housemates to get me through my final year at uni. I would be keen to live with other uni students who know how to have a good time but are also prepared to knuckle down when it counts :) I have a 7-month-old puppy as well, who is the most lovable dog and very easy to manage.
Hi The listing is a huge, funky apartment right in the centre of Ballarat's cbd, in fact, it would be hard to be more central! Imagine living above the row of shops opposite the Town Hall with the bus stop at the door and Ballarat's prime eating places alongside! The apartment is fully furnished and includes a double drawer dishwasher, large washing machine, linen and a fully fitted out kitchen. Currently, there are four professionals living there and we're looking for one more. We'd prefer long term people who are clean, responsible and easy to get along with. It works because everyone is respectful and clean and because the apartment is so large. In fact, it is so large that there is space for most of us to have their own separate office at no extra charge! That's two rooms for the price of one! NBN is connected so the internet is super fast. Supermarkets, ACU university and both hospitals are within walking distance so there is no need for a car. The bus stops at the door to Fed Uni and everywhere else.
Private north-facing bedroom at the back of a 3 bedroom house. Spacious and bright. Comfortably fits up to a queen size bed. Carpeted with double built in wardrobes and own bathroom next door. Central heating throughout. Big lovely undercover deck out the back. $150 rent per week includes bills. No internet included.
My girlfriend and I are looking to move places, closer to the main street where I have my business. So I am looking to have someone move in onto the lease. Have been living here for just over 2 years now. Current lease is finished, so it's just month by month, or you can sign a new lease agreement. Large master bedroom with en-suite is available, bathroom is a double vanity with large mirror and spa bath. Walk in wardrobe with mirror too. Would suit a couple. Lenient with the bond, I would like to store some things in the garage until I find space to move them. Bond would be 4 weeks rent in cash ($520) and I will sign over the full bond under the new tenants name ($1400). There are a few small things that need to be fixed in the house, but no where near the amount held in bond, only signing across to save the hassle of completely cleaning the house and having other tenants (sub-letting with approval from real estate) move out. Utilities are under my name, so will assist in moving those across and paying what's due so far (1 month into new quarter). Looking to have someone move in asap, there is a spare room to use while we transition and move out of the main bedroom. Weekly rent is $350. With the two others paying $120 each (including bills) and I cover the rest. So you can either keep the same or we can work something else out.
The house is arty and charming, set in a lovely garden and has a great view. The neighbourhood is quiet and friendly. The home functions well but has no modern cons... which keeps the cost down. The room available is set separate from the other bedroom and study so plenty of privacy, it also has its own gas heater and t.v. ariel.
This charming property is a lovely fully established home with all kitchen, bathroom and living amenities included. One bedroom up for grabs with a lovely window view, built in bookshelves and a built in gas heater to stay warm on cold Ballarat nights. Furnishings are available if you need them. The house is walking distance to the train station, Sturt street, and the Fed Uni Camp Street Campus. Also not far from supermarkets etc. ideally looking for someone to stay longer term who is willing to go on the lease and happy to share a peaceful home with me.
Hey there my name is Ned. I am a legal professional who has recently acquired a full-time position in the Ballarat area. I’m clean/tidy, easy going, friendly and always up for a chat but of course respect your privacy and quiet/alone time and hope you would respect mine. I love hitting the gym when I can, but otherwise I work 8:30-5 everyday and will be spending most weekends with my family back in Melb. I'm currently commuting everyday from Melb, so hoping to find a place asap.
My interests involve going for walks, listening to music, reading, watching movies and doing yoga. I'm currently doing many hours of casual shift work in the Ballarat area. I prefer to live with people who are like minded and easy going, although I'm not a party person I enjoy a good gin and tonic and trying different kraft beers. I like cleaning whilst listening to music and being in a tidy living space makes me feel great. I'm also working on my cooking skills and trying to find healthy meals to make yummy and nutritious :)
