I just accepted a new job in Sydney and will be relocating from Brisbane. During the week I will be working regular office hours in the city and on the weekends I’ll be mostly out and about. I’ve never lived in Sydney before so will be looking to explore and discover as much as possible. In my spare time I’ll hit the gym, go jogging, meet friends or head outdoors. I’m a clean, quiet person who likes their alone time but more than happy to have a beer and shoot the breeze with housemates.
I'm moving from Melbourne to Sydney to take up a media job. I like classical music, cooking, books, and beaches. I'm looking to move straight into a place when I arrive in Sydney on 3 March, so I can only interview remotely, sorry. Please send me a message if you think I'd be a good addition to your house!
**Move in date: June 1st/2nd** Work transfer from Brisbane to Sydney. Working Full Time (Mon-Fri 9-5) and office will be based in Rozelle. So I am looking at surrounding areas to live, within a 5km radius from Rozelle. Looking at one bedroom + own bathroom if possible. And place that has a parking space, or easily can find a spot on/off street. Rental payment will be on time of course. I’ve been sharing a house with the same lady in Brisbane for nearly 4+ years. We got really well and became part of each other’s family. I’ll Respect your privacy and will look after each other’s belongings, clean and tidy, extrovert introvert.. I’ll bring my own cookware set and dinner set if you don’t mind because I don’t want to scratch your pots and break your plates 😆😉 I may appear bubbly and chatty but I do enjoy my own quiet time too and just binge watch Netflix/Stan (I have an account) 📺 in my room or maybe we can binge watch together and enjoy some series :) I can cook. Don’t mind sharing a meal or two and we can take turn ☺️ Wouldn’t mind evening or morning walk over the weekend, watch movies or go to Pilates or yoga class (well I need start going to classes again pronto! I’ve been such a slack these past several months 🤣). 🤸🏻♀️
Hi there! I'm a 26 year old male looking to move in with a great flat mate. I work in the insurance industry Mon-Fri (business hours) I'm a very easy going person, well travelled and loves being active and healthy. On weekends I enjoy socialising and getting out and about. Always up for a chat :)
Lovely newly renovated 2 bedroom apartment in a secure block in Balmain East. Fully furnished common areas with new appliances and really close to public transport (bus and ferry less than 3 minutes walk away). Available from March 9. There is a off-street car space available that can be rented separately for $30 pw.
Hello, I'm moving from Melbourne to Sydney in early to mid March to work full time in Pyrmont. I love plants, fresh air and homely homes. I'm always up for a chat, but also happy with my own company. Cats generally make me smile but also itch, so probably looking for a pet free scenario. :)
I'm from Sydney, working 9-5 Mon-Fri . Starting my Masters in Media Practice at USYD on March 5. Love Game of Thrones. I'm a cat person. Love traveling, recently came back from Indonesia. Love making videos, I make YouTube videos too. Looking for 2 new girls to fill in the 2 rooms at my newly approved place in Petersham.
Hi I am Jean-Pierre, french national permanently living in Sydney for the last 20 years. I work full time at Sydney Ferries on boats. I am described as quiet, funny and easy going. Outside of work, which takes a big chunk of my time, I like quiet time at home enjoying reading, painting and mostly working on my photography making. I prefer cooking at home as opposed to eating out ( it happens on occasions) and though I try to be efficient with cooking aiming at quick but healthy meals I also much appreciate the sharing of food. I do shift work and at time leave very early and at other time come back rather late btwn 1.30/12.30am. I have my own bed and few items to set up my room so I prefer a non furnished room. I have also few other item (a fridge and some kitchen utensils that I would like to be able to store away, a small corner of a garage would be great. It would be nice to be able to find a quiet place with like minded people. Looking forward to get to know you. JP
Hi guys, I’m looking for a place to move to beginjnh of March . I’m very easy going , quiet and friendly. I love to have a conversation with my flatmate every now and then if they’re up to, otherwise I respect their privacies. I keep fit and jog everyday. Hit me up if you think we can get along :) Thank you :-)
Respectable, open-minded and quiet. Loves to have peace and quiet at home, but is always open for a chat, dinner or a few drinks. Will be starting a new job so will be out most of the day as well.
We are a lovely couple (I am British and my boyfriend is Canadian) and we have been travelling for the past 18 months and now relocating to Sydney for a year or two. We would like our own apartment so only really interested in a sublet please. From 28th Feb/1st March. Please let me know if anyone has anything :)
Three bedroom townhouse in stunning location in East Balmain close to ferry and bus stops. Modern kitchen with separate dining. Large lounge and study. Two balconies, both with harbour views. Large courtyard out back on ground floor. Short walk to Balmain shops, pubs and restaurants. Two minutes walk to bus stop, three minutes to Balmain East ferry wharf - five minutes by ferry to Barangaroo, or fifteen to Circular Quay. Room easily fits a queen size bed, bedside table and large wardrobe.
Hey I'm Giacomo - I'm 27 and work as an Engineer in the city. I love a good drink and cooking/baking, but also try to keep fit to help offset the baking. I'd describe myself as social and easygoing. I usually work 9-5 (but sometimes later) So I mostly have a decent amount of free time.
Hey there, To tell you a bit about myself, I'm sociable, easy-going, 26 and Australian. I work full-time in Operations for a not-for-profit, and spend my spare time catching up with friends, going to the gym, exploring Sydney, frequenting local cafes and restaurants, and generally keeping busy. I enjoy a good banter, but also respect everyone's need for down time. I'm looking to move in with like-minded people, who want to create a home and who I can hopefully become friends with. Happy to move into an established home, or start a new one. I can be flexible with move-in dates. If you think I might be a suitable fit for what you're looking for, it would be great to hear from you. Thanks, Zsofi :)
Great waterside location with spectular views and a large park a street away from the flat. Less than 5 minute walk to both ferry and bus stop which makes it easy to get to the city or other surrounding suburbs. Also close to lots of pubs and restaurants and some great spots to go running if that's your thing. The apartment has quite a lot of storage, a window in each room which keeps it quite airy & light. It's fully furnished other than the bedroom with bills split 50/50 in addition to the rent.
I'm a clean but respectful house mate who like to have fun, but also knows when to switch on and get stuff done. I work long hours during the week, leaving around 5am and getting back around 8pm on most nights so you won't see me much during the week. But, on the weekends I'll be around and keen to have fun and do activities! I like fitness, riding my motorbike, going out to the country, anything active e.g rock climbing, hiking and playing sport, watching movies, going out with friends and having a beer. If you think i'd fit into your household nicely just let me know and lets have a chat! Cheers, Alexei
This place is a gem in Balmain! There are 4 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms. 2 of the girls have their own bathrooms and you will need to share with one other. This room has its own balcony and a huge 3 door mirrored wardrobe. It’s super close to bustops that take you straight to QVB, close to Balmain and Balmain east wharf. There’s heaps of parks, restaurants and pubs around all within walking distance.
Next to Balmain wharf with a private beach. (I know right?) Not the largest apartment in Balmain, but the location is bloody choice. Unless the sound of children's laughter in the park across the road makes you question your own solitary existence, in which case this is probably not the place for you. (Or, you know, just buy ear plugs.) There's seven other apartments in the block and everyone is really chill. Sunday afternoon cheese and wine block parties are not unheard of. Please note: I was about to buy some curtains for the bedroom because I really don't like the new pull-down blind the landlord installed, but then my flatmate announced he was moving out so I announced I'll be relocating into his room. Anyway, we can go curtain shopping together if you hate roller blinds as much as me. Also please note: there isn't microwave in the kitchen and I'd prefer to keep it that way. Microwaves are the worst, for many reasons. And, yes, I’m aware "I don't own a microwave" is one of those things only said by the world's most and least privileged people. Like “I never eat meat” and "my children aren't vaccinated!".
Despite being a quiet area, this apartment offers gorgeous views and is minutes walk from: the casino, Darling Harbour, bus and light rail stops, the fish markets and numerous cafes. Gym, Outdoor Pool and Ducted air conditioning included. The APARTMENT IS FURNISHED, including washing machine, dryer, dishwasher & microwave. The BEDROOM IS UNFURNISHED, but has a built-in-wardrobe. Current flat mate can leave bed base to borrow and selling the mattress (Price on request)
My housemate is leaving Sydney and I am looking for someone to move into her room. Our beautiful 2 bedroom apartment is located in the heart of Balmain. This charming harbourside suburb offers a great lifestyle with its heritage pubs, a huge variety of cafes & restaurants and weekend markets. It is the perfect location for those who look for a cozy place, surrounded by parks & water, still close to the City Centre. As per photos, the apartment offers 2 bright spacious rooms, 2 bathroom and 2 balconies. You will find a comfortable queen bed, plenty of storage space and your private bathroom. The air-conditioned flat is fully furnished and offers a large living room and dining area. You've got a BBQ on the balcony and a very well equipped kitchen with oven and microwave, washing machine and dryer, etc. There is a common spa area with swimming pool, Jacuzzis, sauna and gym, which is AWESOME! We share a garage, but visitor and street parking is also available. Move in date can be discussed. Location is 4 Rosebery Place, which is close to the Woolis on Darling St. The weekly price is $450 per week for a single person. You will be sharing the apartment with myself :)
Beautiful, bright light filled apartment on the water overlooking a park. Great dining area and also a rooftop entertaining area with a good bbq and outdoor dining. There is a fantastic 25 meter heated pool, a spa, gym and sauna included in the rent in a listed building. A short stroll to all that Balmain has to offer with cafes, pubs and restaurants. A 5 minute walk to the bus at Gladstone park and the ferry in Thames Street or East Balmain. The room has a beautiful view and all the bedrooms are situated separately from each other so nice and private. Apartment has reverse cycle air conditioning, gas heating and open plan kitchen has a gas hob and electric oven. Built in double wardrobe and a tv socket in the room. Easily fits a queen bed. The room is unfurnished at this stage. You will share the bathroom with one other person who is away regularly so not much of a bother.
Cosy flat right in the heart of Balmain, close to all shops and heaps of buses going to the CBD in 15 min. the apartment is perfect for two people has a study room and spacious kitchen we also got a sheared small backyard. the room is nice and has room enough for a person to live comfortable it is unfurnished and has no wardrobes but could be organised something as I got an extra drawer and some other store furniture. it also has a ceiling fan which works great for those hot days.

Hi, I am Maarten, 20 years and from the Netherlands. I will be doing a graduation internship for six months at a commercial solar panel installer. This will be full time. I like socialising, which will be hard for the first couple of weeks since i don't know anyone in Australia;) On the weekends I would love to enjoy the nature Australia has to offer and going to bars/cafe's, I also like Formula 1 and will try to attend the Melbourne GP. Overall I am a nice, friendly guy who you can share a laugh with but will also respect your privacy.
Hi Guys, I'm Nachiket from India. I'm coming to Sydney on the 12th of January 2018 for my master's student at Sydney Uni in Blue mountain international hotel management school , looking for a place to rent out for my duration of 2 years . I'm fairly laid back, a sociable extrovert, like to watch movies, explore the city and places, meet new people, & enjoy. I'm very neat and clean and like to cook occasionally. I'm looking out for flatmates who respect each other's personal space, clean and tidy, aren't into excessive party but do like all that, depending upon mutual understanding and consent's.
Hi! I'm Mark, a 22 year old USYD graduate. Just came back from 6 months studying abroad. Working in consulting, in Barangaroo so prefer a place very close to transport. Super clean and spend a lot of time out of the house for work.

Hi! I’m looking at moving to the city for work from south of Sydney. Ive lived in rentals and share places the last 4 years so I know my limits and respect the household. I can cook and don't mind a drink with mates. Cheers
Kiwi living in Sydney! Super easy going, clean and considerate housemate and looking for a sociable flat to move into, but not a full on “party house” I work full time and am also completing my Masters part time. I enjoy sports, beaches , exploring new areas, going out for good food and hanging out with friends! Looking to spend up to $300 a week for the right place , If I sound like I’ll fit into your flat - drop me a message !
Hi potential housemates! I will be moving to Sydney in February. I'm a medical professional so I work a lot, but I'd love to get involved in the social side of the house as much as I can :) if there's not that much of a social aspect to the house that's ok too - I do already have some friends in Sydney. I'm VERY clean and tidy, but not so bothered by other people's mess (within reason of course). I come with an adorable young toy poodle puppy called Luna - but please don't discount us as housemates because of the dog thing! She's tiny, doesn't shed hair, hypoallergenic, extremely well-trained (housetrained and obedience), quiet, used to apartment living and gets on well with other animals (not to mention she will bring you so much joy!) I also love cooking and am happy to participate in any shared meals or just share my leftovers with you. If you have any questions at all, please contact me - I'd love to hear from you. Cheers!
We're moving from Denmark to Sydney for three months, because I have to work on some projects for my Copenhagen-based employer. My boyfriend thinks it is a great opportunity to finally get a bit of sun ( very difficult to find in this cold Nordic country 🙃) so he is joining me, but he'll be working full-time too during our stay. I'm an urban designer, working mainly with community engagement, and he is a philosopher, working with communication. We're both friendly and easy-going ( if we may say so about ourselves) and are very interested in meeting locals, exploring the city and learn about socio-political climate of australia. oh! And exploring all the cozy cafes and restaurants! that's important! We spend a lot of time devouring books, magazines and newspapers and love to discuss what we read with anyone who is interested. We love to share a glass of good gin and tonics or wine over a good conversation, and we're looking forward to explore that beautiful Australian nature everyone's talking about.
Hi nice to meet you! I am a sales professional with a very steady income. I work 9-5 and will do the occasional travel for work. I love food and am extremely clean and organised, and like to cook as well. I am an extremely considerate person and am looking for someone of a similar nature. I'm kind of past the age of partying hence, I enjoy a quiet night in and spend my weekends catching up on sleep, going out to brunch, shopping and reading a good book. I am ideally looking for an apartment near to a light rail station as I work in Pyrmont with secure car space/secure street parking and my own bathroom.
I´m actually occupied in Project management, more specific IT management and business consulting. To escape the office life, I came here for entirely new experiences. I succeed my A-Levels last year in Germany and plan to stay here for a couple of months and travel further through southeast Asia. I have lots of weird, funny, lucky, extreme and calming stories from life in Germany and travelling on my mind. I love to cook and enjoy, depending on the mood, wine and/or beer with long conversations. Sports minimum 4 times a week and party as often as possible. Cleaning the accommodation is a must routine for me!
I am an independent self employed professional woman who was born and bred in Sydney but lived in the Blue Mountains for 20 years, having moved back to the big smoke 3 years ago. I love to travel and meet new people. I am a regular yoga practitioner and keep fit by swimming and walking. I am seriously into music - listening to and playing. I perform as a singer and aspiring percussionist and guitar player. As a house-mate I am reliable, responsible and always do my fair share of the housework and household upkeep. I prefer a peaceful and ordered environment and like to have my own space, although can be flexible and tolerant of other people's needs.
