I am a working female from the Netherlands. I have been in Australia 5 years now and I am moving from Darwin to Brisbane for work soon (Dec/Jan). I am clean and organised and open-minded. I like my quiet time. I do enjoy sharing a dinner every now and then, or go out for drinks, but I am certainly not a party animal, and I like to be on my own and have peace and quiet :-) I like to bake, so great kitchen is a must. I would also like lots of Internet as I am studying in my spare time, and of course I like to Netflix/Stan. I'm currently watching 'Good Behavior', it's awesome. I am starting a full-time job in Central Brisbane in January, and I have no idea what parts of Brisbane I would like to live in. The most important thing is that it has a good public transport connection to Central Brisbane. I have a lovely special needs dog named Jack. He is awesome, but because of his traumatic past he is not too fond of other dogs. He is good with smaller and super relaxed dogs, once he gets used to them (he just needs some time). I would need a fully fenced yard (preferably a closed fence as he sometimes barks when other dogs walk past). I would like him to be allowed inside the house as well, as dogs need love and company, and I hate to see him outside all day by himself. He's very well-behaved inside. He's also an awesome guard dog. I would like to either have my own place, or share with another professional person (non-smoker) where we both have plenty of space. I do prefer a bit more space than just 1 room, so it would be nice if I could rent a house with a like-minded person where we both have 2 bedrooms for example. Or where person 1 gets the upstairs and person 2 the downstairs so we're not in each other's face all the time.
I work full time in Recruitment in Morningside, non smoker, love wining and dining, coffee dates and enjoy heading to the coast on the weekends and getting out and about. I’m very respectful of other people’s space and property. I am not a huge party goer, certainly not looking for a party house. I am super tidy and wanting to share with someone the same and who takes pride in their home. I am wanting my own bathroom also. I enjoy my own time and space during the week, however I also love watching a good tv series and having chats over dinner. I am looking for someone like minded to team up and find a rental to call home or to join an existing share house offering the same! I look forward to hearing from you :)
Hey. My name is Jethro and I'm a 24yo, Kiwi born yank, that's lived down under since i was 4 lol. I'm looking for a place to live near Hemmant Brisbane, as that's where i work as a Boily. Good steady, own car. Long hours and work 6 days a week atm so i don't really do much anymore. But my main current hobbies include surfing, scuba diving, wake boarding, snowboarding and home-brewing. I'm very social but can keep to myself. Clean and tidy. I'm also a qualified Dive Master. Prefer to live with ppl around my age but don't mind as long as the price is cheap :) need to move in January
My name is Ashlea, I'm a 24 year old female working in government Mon-Fri in Brisbane CBD. I'm looking for somewhere to live close to the city. I try to keep fit and don't drink during the week, but don't mind a drink or two on the weekends. I'm a pretty chilled person and am respectful of space. I need my alone time occasionally but would still prefer to live with someone I can have a chat with! I am a non-smoker and have no pets and I am hoping for one or two room mates around the same age with similar interests. I have a car so I would prefer a parking space. Not interested in sharing a bathroom, please don't message if shared bathroom only.
Hi my name is Conor and i'm originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland. I am looking fir a room or flat share with 1-3 people. I work full time as an Engineer and I’m usually out training most evenings after work. Extremely laid back and sociable.
Close to trendy Oxford Street and transport outside door, this Queenslander cottage with polished floors is an ideal place to live for a professional person. Just 4kms from the CBD, transport is outside the door. With modern amenities, polished floors and is ready to move into you will share with one other female. The house has good security. An outside courtyard and BBQ. Share electricity and gas. Telephone Lara. Looking to fill urgently! You will also have your own private TV room.
Very very clean, keep to myself but love to have a chat and a glass of wine. Have a beautiful puppy that will need a space out the back most days as I work in the city full time. She only expects pats from new friends nothing more as that’s my job.
Hi! I’m a 23 y.o. guy looking to move out of home, I work as an engineer Monday to Friday & am looking to live in an awesome suburb with some cool people. I’m keen for a place that’s pretty chill, friendly but still social, not a nuts party house but not a dull house either! I’m available to move anytime from now. I lead a busy life & spend most of my weekends out and about just doing life, i'm into surfing, building things, fishing, photography, cycling (don't judge too much) & finding ever more things to do! My ideal place would allow a 2-3 month flexible settling in period to be sure the house functions then i'll be in for the long haul!
I'm a really clean and friendly person. I am also a music teacher, who teaches from home, both piano and singing students. I work as retail assistant at Carindale Westfield for about 15-30 hours a week. I have small Pomeranian named Pooka is also very friendly and playful. I am looking at moving but wanting to stay in the same area. I'm leaving my apartment that I'm in now as its just to small. I am 21 and a non-smoker.
The house is a beautiful, large modern 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom 2 storey home in the quiet leafy suburb of Balmoral. It's located on top of the hill where the Story Bridge, City and Gateway Bridges can all be seen from just a few meters up the street. It has all quality mod cons - LPG gas cook top, fully ducted air/con and heating and stainless steel appliances etc. An undercover outdoor area to relax with a book on the daybed, enjoy some wine and cheese or a Sunday BBQ. A large stone-top kitchen, a separate media room with flatscreen and surround sound, and open plan lounge and dining. It's just a short walk from the happening precinct of Bulimba - restaurants, bars, cinemas, parks, library, many great coffee options, supermarkets and all public transport (buses, train and also ferry). There is street parking available and some great hills if you like to go for a run or a walk. The public swimming pool is not far away and there is a choice of a few gyms in the area. The room available is cool, calming and large enough to fit a queen size bed, tallboy, desk or bookcase. You would have your own bathroom that is right next to your bedroom. Tinted windows and built in wardrobes make it a very comfortable space. Rent for this room is $250/week and bond is $1000. Bills include gas, electricity and internet (average total is about $90 per month/per person, depending on usage). You would be living with a professional male and female (not a couple). Would suit a person with a mature lifestyle and an appreciation for the finer things in life, doesn’t have much stuff of their own but would like to live in a stylishly presented home. Ideally, you’d be a non-smoker, motivated, considerate, approachable and friendly person, willing to help maintain the home to its current standard. Someone who is house-proud, and who respects others and items in the home. I respect the privacy of others and also like to be able to sit out the back and have a few drinks, relaxing together occasionally. It's important to get to know each other to be able to make it a happy and friendly home. Please contact Brett to meet and arrange a viewing.
Hi, I'm Paul, originally from England I'm moving back to Brisbane after a few years teaching remote. I'm transferring back to Brisbane early January. I'm going to be working in the Morningside area so I'm looking for somewhere I can walk to or commute using public transport within 20 to 30 minutes. I don't smoke and only drink socially or after a stressful day educating the young minds of tomorrow. My preference is to live on my own and I will be exploring that option first, although I am open to a house share with the right person/ people.
I'm a 24 year old PE teacher and sports coach. Yes I'm a Workaholic but I love to travel and enjoy going on adventures on weekends and keeping fit. Would love to find a place with easy going people who don't mind a good wine and cheese night.
Hi there :) I currently live on the Northside with my best friend who is moving back home. So I'll be looking to move somewhere by end of January 2018 when our lease ends. I live in a nice, modern, new townhouse and we keep it in pretty good condition, I'm a reasonably clean person. I'm pretty laid back and enjoy some weekends spent with Netflix but mostly I'll be out of the house on the weekends, returning usually to nap. I like to socialise and have Sunday BBQ's but also do enjoy my own space. I get along with anyone and everyone (especially dogs). I work full time in the city in Digital Marketing. I also enjoy a few drinks some times on the weekend (mainly a tequila shot or two) but usually try to keep that to a minimum and attempt to eat healthy and work out - however this doesnt always go to plan. I'm just looking for some nice people to live with basically. - I don't smoke - I have no pets - I'm not looking for anything with the room furnished as I have my own bedroom furniture and a little bit of household furniture but doesn't necessarily have to come with me. - I have a car so parking nearby is a must.
Great share house in Wentworth Parade with plenty of space for everyone to live, relax and enjoy. We are just a short work to Oxford Street, Bulimba and Hawthorne, the river, public transport and city cats/ferry. It's a classic 3 bed Queenslander with updated fittings and great spaces. Features include: - Spacious and high ceiling - Huge balcony overlooking lovely palm trees - Available bedroom has built in wardrobes - Modern bathroom with claw foot bath - Second entertainment area downstairs with spa - Second toilet downstairs. The room available is the huge master bedroom situated at the front of the house with a window seat and built in robe, is is the largest room (3.6 x 4.5m) with plenty of natural light and breeze. This room also has air conditioning. Note: Pictures are from previous real estate listing, but house is still furnished beautifully! This room is unfurnished but furnished could be negotiated if required.
I am looking for a housemate in Balmoral only a short walk from The cafe precinct on Oxford Street. I am a single male who works full time, the townhouse has three bedrooms and I will only be renting out one. This means that you will get a bathroom to yourself. Dining/living/kitchen/laundry are furnished, bedroom is not. Included in the $195 per week cost is electricity & gas. -$195pw - 2 weeks bond - 2 weeks rent paid in advance - free electricity (excludes commercial activities) - free gas - common areas are already furnished (including white goods) - exclusive bathroom - Living room TV connected to Netflix
I work full time on a 7 day rotating roster. I like to leave clean and neat and would like to find someone who picks up after themselves too. I don't mind a chat and a wine after work. I'm have a great group of friends and am fairly social so would like to live with someone who is similar. I'm active and like to be out and about on the weekends and my days off.
Great little house tucked away in a quiet street and only minutes to Oxford St, Bulimba and 10- 15min drive to West End or City. Share accommodation with your own private room with all the amenities you require. Internet, dishwasher, washing machine and Dryer, A/C in the main area the with fans your room. The kitchen is stocked with utensils giving you the comfort to feel at home. Services are included in your weekly rent.
Me; - Very Clean and Tidy, - Always cleans up directly after myself, no mess, - Always happy to pitch in and clean on a roster per week, - No drugs and little alcohol consumption, - Working professional - State Account Manager - Work long hours, therefore home to me is a place to relax and recoup, - A lot of Work, same for Gym, Weekends away on the coast - rarely home, - Very private, not into long chats, emotional talks etc - rather keep to myself - Always professional and polite to those I rent with - Low key and subsequently low noise, I'm not into loud parties, rarely have friends over etc - Happy and always good for a laugh, no drama. - Always respectful of others space and privacy, - Sounds weird to have to say this, but I don't share food, nor cook dinners together - Very independent and quiet. Looking for a similer house mate.
My name is Madeline and I work full time as the manager of a local sport store. My work and my team are my passion and as such my hours are quite long and demanding often working into the evening, so I would love to come home to a happy, bright atmosphere! I do tend to keep to myself but appreciate a glass of wine and a chat at the end of a good day (or a bad one). I am quiet, clean, very respectful of personal space and basically require somewhere I can rest my head or relax on the veranda of an evening. I am mostly looking at a room with my own bathroom in the areas of Cannon Hill, Morningside and surrounding suburbs. Please feel free to ask any questions at all!
Hey, I'm Cat, 28, grew up in Brissy and I'm looking for... A house around Camp Hill/Norman Park/Bulimba/Hawthorne with one or two housemates, a backyard, not a party house but maybe up for a casual get together every now and then. I'm a fairly quiet person, love my own company, I'm outdoorsy, like walking, yoga, beach, mountains, sleep, books, netflix, youtube and vego food! During the week I work full time in I.T and I study and see clients around my full time job. Also have the best dog in the world who is in my profile pic (Barley, 4 year old Blonde Border Collie). So I need to live with someone who is cool with having Barley in the house as she’s an indoor/outdoor dog and sleeps on my floor or bed every night - basically a part of my furniture. Furniture that loves cuddles and company. If you have a dog who could keep her company during the day that’s a big bonus to me! I do take her for two walks most days and wherever else I can get away with bringing her along. Contact me if you think we could be happy in your house. **Please don't message if you don't accept pets or have room my lovely pooch in your house, thanks!**
I'm fun, bubbly and enjoy a good chill night at home. Respect people's possessions and privacy as well. I dance three nights a week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday)/ I work full-time in IT. I love animals (a large soft spot for dogs). I'm looking for a roommate and also to make a friend.
