A big, light-filled modern home in Balmoral, close to Oxford st, with air-conditioning in every bedroom and both living rooms. All freshly painted, both rooms have built-in wardrobes and fans. We're renting the top two bedrooms, keeping one for guests that we don't mind your guests using too :) The ground floor rooms are both up for rent. There are two bathrooms, downstairs has double sink, rain shower and deep bath. Downstairs has tiles and carpet, upstairs has hardwood floors, but we promise not to stomp around in our shoes! Shared laundry and huge kitchen, we have a brand-new dishwasher, washing machine and massive fridge. Lots and lots of storage including big cupboards downstairs and a locked outside area for bikes etc. There's a big outdoor deck that opens to a tidy yard, very private due to retaining wall foliage and there are views over to the Westgate bridge. There is electricity bill, but we have solar power so we're expecting it to be very cheap, gas bill (also cheap as we're on bottle gas) and unlimited ADSL2 internet which is $60 divided between however many people are living in the house at the time :)
Im a Flight Attendant working fulltime looking for a place with a large room unfurnished as i have my own bedroom furniture. Im easy going , clean and respectful . Want to find some nice people to share with longterm. Looking for something between city n airport but closer to city. I need aircon for sleeping during summer days. Also req wifi
The house is a beautiful, large modern 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom 2 storey home in the quiet leafy suburb of Balmoral. It's located on top of the hill where the Story Bridge, City and Gateway Bridges can all be seen from just a few meters up the street. It has all quality mod cons - LPG gas cook top, fully ducted air/con and heating and stainless steel appliances etc. An undercover outdoor area to relax with a book on the daybed, enjoy some wine and cheese or a Sunday BBQ. A large stone-top kitchen, a separate media room with flatscreen and surround sound, and open plan lounge and dining. It's just a short walk from the happening precinct of Bulimba - restaurants, bars, cinemas, parks, library, many great coffee options, supermarkets and all public transport (buses, train and also ferry). There is street parking available and some great hills if you like to go for a run or a walk. The public swimming pool is not far away and there is a choice of a few gyms in the area. The room available is cool, calming and large enough to fit a queen size bed, tallboy, desk or bookcase. You would have your own bathroom that is right next to your bedroom. Tinted windows and built in wardrobes make it a very comfortable space. Rent for this room is $250/week and bond is $1000. Bills include gas, electricity and internet (average total is about $90 per month/per person, depending on usage). You would be living with a professional male and female (not a couple). Would suit a person with a mature lifestyle and an appreciation for the finer things in life, doesn’t have much stuff of their own but would like to live in a stylishly presented home. Ideally, you’d be a non-smoker, motivated, considerate, approachable and friendly person, willing to help maintain the home to its current standard. Someone who is house-proud, and who respects others and items in the home. I respect the privacy of others and also like to be able to sit out the back and have a few drinks, relaxing together occasionally. It's important to get to know each other to be able to make it a happy and friendly home. Please contact Brett to meet and arrange a viewing.
Hi, Myself and my small, very well behaved cat Luna are looking for a nice place to live, preferably close to Hamilton, where I work full time as a jeweller. I'd love to find a house with air-conditioning, good internet, and hopefully a bit of extra space to set up a small jewellery bench for making pieces in my spare time. I've been living in Brisbane for about a year, and I'm a very friendly, quiet, tidy and considerate housemate.
The spacious, modern apartment has a large balcony with views direct to the city. Balmoral is an awesome suburb with lots of cool restaurants/ shops and Bulimba is 1.5km up the road. Public transport is nearby and the City Cat is 1km down the road - perfect for one working in the city. We're an easy-going couple in our mid-30's who enjoy a laugh and few drinks on the balcony on a Friday avo! Looking for someone who enjoys life, can laugh with us, is respectful and willing to help with weekly chores. The room is north facing, has a fan and a built in robe. Apartment has a washing machine & dryer. The rent includes broadband & Netflix. Electricity is split 3-way (approx $140 each per quarter). As there's 2 cats... you must like cats. They are shy so you won't see them much. After 5pm & before 8am, there's off-street parking otherwise street parking is plentiful.
Hey! I'm moving to the UK in January and am hoping to find a spare room for myself and Hugo (my house trained, social butterfly cute 2yr old pug) to bunk up in before we head off I'm clean, tidy and well mannered!
We are both easy going girls, who are neat and tidy. We are super friendly and enjoy making friends but will also keep to ourselves if need be. Phoebe works and studies whilst Taylor works full time, we both enjoy being active and doing social things on the weekends. We have busy lifestyles so we don't spend much time at home.
I'm an English student, 26 years old. Before I came to Australia I worked in a hospital as physiotherapist as well as I worked in a university as anatomy professor. I decided to come here to learn English for the reason I wish to study a little bit more in an international university. Here in Australia, I am working in hospitality usually starting at 5am and my school is night time. An easy going guy, tidy and clean, needing jus a place just to sleep and and watch Netflix.
We are two friendly and easy going girls, I'm Colombian and my friend is Japanese. She is working full-time and I'm working part-time, both in the hospitality industry.
I'm an Australian-Vietnamese female looking for short-term accommodation. I am a mental health and fashion blogger, non-smoker and non-drinker. I would much prefer an all-female household. I like to stay active in the church community, paint and meet up with friends for a nice coffee or so. I am substantially clean, and quite quiet at times. Also friendly, and sometimes like a good conversation. I am trying to live out of home to build more independence. Currently in the process of looking for a new job. Look forward to meeting and talking with you. Suzanne
Hi, my name is Chloe, recently finished being in my 20s. Originally from Melbourne. I was living in Teneriffe recently and loved it so looking for another place close by or wherever really, as long as you're nice and don't have a pest infestation. I work as an Accountant but hopefully I do not act like one:) I really love to travel, long walks on the beach (not really), cycling along the river, playing guitar (I've only mastered a few songs in the past 15 years - help, I need someone to jam with), stand up comedy, yoga, cooking (I like to pretend I'm on Masterchef) and would love to share a home with people who are friendly, clean and have a great sense of humour. I am respectful of people's space, possessions and privacy. Please let me know if I can meet up with you at some point soon before I give up on Brisbane, forever. Thank you greatly, Chloe
Two friends sophie and Mad, one puppy cavoodle looking for one or two others to move into a house or townhouse that has a backyard for my pup. Prefer a modern or newish house
Very easy to get along with, friendly, tidy, patient, polite and positive. I enjoy good food and wine, being outdoors in nature and basically any activities involving water (beach, wakeboarding, boating, surfing. I also love good food and wine and would like a house with a friendly vibe where everyone gets along like a tight knit family. I am quite busy spend a lot of time reading but I am also very social where I can so would like flat mates that become good friends. People I can go for adventures to the beach, coffee shops, rides and just being outdoors.
Hello! My name is savannah. I'm 23 and have been renting for the last 5 years. I currently live in bulimba but looking to downsize when my lease is up on August 30 so I can save some money and head overseas eventually. (Looking for a 6 month lease). I work full time as a graphic designer and also work some bars on the weekend so I'm rarely home and like to just relax when I am. I paint and watch tv shows in my spare time and don't know many people in Brisbane so don't often have house guests. I do have a cat who is really friendly and just loves people. She's never attacked or scratched anyone and is always down for a snuggle. Most people fall in love with her so I'm hoping she wont be a problem! Happy to meet over coffee to see if we get along :)
Hey! I'm happy, easy going, friendly, clean and trustworthy. I work full time but in the process of looking for a new job in the city and want to move closer than where i am now (Redlands). Like a drink or 3 every now and then but dont like being hungover every weekend and looking to move in with someone similar. Love fitness and the outdoors so if you had interest in that that would be an added bonus! Not just looking for a housemate, a friend would be amazing also😊
Hi flatmates If you are not only looking for a reliable, clean, tidy and trustworthy person, but also a friendly, easy going and helpfull guy, here I am! I am international student, coming from Colombia, who want to find a flat with a similar description as me. I want to make the best out of it, explore the landscape of the east coast, getting to know the Australian culture and lifestyle. I am searching for flatmates who are open minded, positive, fun!!! and if u want, we can share time and experiences but if not it's ok too. I love many different sports and I learn quickly. I also have a motorbike so I will need a parking for it.
Hi! I'm 20 years old and I work as a Personal Assistant during the week and in Hospitality on the weekends. I'm quite private, but I also enjoy living with people who are up for a bit of socialising or a chat. I'm looking for either a group of two or three people to find a place together with, or a room in an existing place.
Hi there, Moving up from Sydney! Will be working full time, boyfriend living in Bulimba and have friends around the same area. my name is Sandra and I am a 35 year old professional from Germany. I've been working for my company for over 15 years and now it's time for me to take some months off from work. I intend to attend at a Business Management course at ABS in Brisbane from the beginning of January in 2018. I've been travelling quite a lot (including Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Hobart) and I really love to discover new places and cultures. I used to live in Vancouver, Canada for some months with a working holida visa. I am easy going, tidy, friendly, helpful and love cats and dogs. It would be a pleasure if you could offer me a room from the beginning of January for about 9-12 months. Looking forward hearing from you, soon. Best regards, Sandra
