Our place is a very short walk to Oxford st in Balmoral which has plenty of restaurants and pubs/breweries to check out. There's parks walking distance away and is a very lively area. It's also close to the ferry to go straight across to Teneriffe or to the city and the city is only 15mins away by car. The unit is full furnished accept for the bedroom.
Hi, I moved to Australia over a year ago. I bought a house on the south side which I've turned into a big renovation project and has become very hard to live in a building site. By day I work as a self employed security technician and can be working anywhere in Brisbane. Some times after work I will work on my house and spend Saturdays working on my house. I do like to go out on a Saturday night but just for a few drinks as I'm no party animal, just find going out for food and drinks a good way to unwind, I tend to spend Sundays as my day of going to the beach or a bike ride or just a walk/lime round the river. I would sum myself up as being a very good flatemate as I'm very easy going, fun and clean, respectful and quiet. I'm looking for a place where I can pretty much just sleep as I will be out a lot with my busy life, so a quiet non party house would be great and hopefully will find one 🤞🏻
We are looking for a fourth roommate at our gorge house in Balmoral. Room is currently available and we are looking to fill ASAP! Minimum six months and must sign onto the lease. Two gals and a guy at the moment. Rent $170 p/w plus bond. Room is wonderfully sized with a built in robe. The room is at the back of the house (away from kitchen and living space) and has great natural lighting. The house itself has ducted air con, shared TV with netflix etc, a huge front veranda with a beautiful view, washing machine etc and the kitchen and floors were recently renovated. There is a great view of the city at the top of the street. All of us like to keep a tidy house too. Lease is up in February 2020, so if you hate moving this is perfect. Located a short distance from Oxford Street, Bulimba. Trains, buses and ferries nearby as well as delicious food, sick pubs (AFL Club), parks and walks. 10 -15 min drive to city/valley (cheap uber).
I’m generally conscientious and have over 5 years experience living with roommates. I spent ~8 years in the USA — where I completed my bachelor's and master's — and moved back to Aus about 1.5 years ago. I've also lived in a few other countries. I'll be in Brisbane for at least a year to pursue some projects. I’m social, but I do enjoy my alone time so I’d be looking for a roomate/roomates who would be understanding of that. If there's anything else you'd like to know, feel free to ask. Looking to move in as soon as it is convenient and possible.
For the last hour I have attempted to sell myself in a new and exciting way. However everything I come up with sounds super lame and/or cliche. And does not showcase who I really am. So, I apologise in advance... My name is Mikayla; hey. I am easy to get along with. I work for an Insurance company in Brisbane CBD. Prior to that I travelled Europe for three and a half months. In September I'll be in NYC briefly. And I plan on visiting India, Thailand and the Philippines next year. I spend some time between the Sunshine coast and Melbourne visiting family. I am super family orientated, and often escape back home on long weekends. I'm stupidly positive, incredibly uncoordinated, a big fan of 90’s films and secretly obsessed with Asian food. I love to drink gin and boogie, but I also enjoy staying at home with a face mask on, whilst eating various of assorted foods. I spend a lot of my time in my room with my plants, at the beach, vintage shopping, at the local markets, or attending festivals. I love a good chat. The weirder the topic, the better. And yeah, lets live together :) Side note: Ideal I'd prefer mid June. However I am flexible with move dates!

Looking for 2-3 bedroom place! 2x Student Nurses doing shift work. Looking a 2bdrm place for myself and friend in the same boat with no other housemates. Preferably furnished with at least kitchenware and white goods. We're both neat freaks and will keep your place immaculate.
Edit: Got a great place and there's a spare room, so me and my housemate are looking for one more person! :) https://flatmates.com.au/share-house-brisbane-newmarket-4051-P814067 Hey everyone! I'm looking for a nice place to settle in, preferably with lots of plants and books and a yard. I've been living overseas for 5+ years, but stoked to move back to brisbane now (I'm originally from currumbin but studied in brissy for years). I'm a professional editor (books, articles, etc.) but I'll be doing volunteer charity work as well and various other things like camping, biking, hiking, traveling, etc. I clean up after myself without being asked, keep to myself a bit for most of the day but always up for a good chat over a coffee and keen for a community feel (i.e. house dinners, housemate picnics, whatever). 28, non-smoker, non-annoying. LGBTI+ friendly and all the good non-bigotted stuff. :)
