Great community and amazing facilities. The village provides a large study room, a heated pool, a 24/7 gym, a game room and a movie room with Netflix and foxtel. If you're into sports or tv series, lots of events are hosted in the movie room where residents get together to watch them as soon as they're released in Australia. Speaking of events, the village holds numerous daily activities such as free food, playtime with the village dogs and village parties to get residents out of their rooms. The village is also fully gated and we have full time security. The residents are mostly split with rmit or Melbourne for Uni however there are some in the village that go to la trobe and even Monash! The room is fully furnished with a mattress, a full kitchen and a modern bathroom. There's also lots of room on the desk for study. The room also holds a gorgeous view of the courtyard. If you have any questions feel free to ask!
The place is equipped with a HEATED POOL, A GYM AND A BEAUTIFUL STUDY LOUNGE. It has a huge TV lounge on the ground floor combined with a barbecue space and pool table. The place is amazing for students looking to meet other students and enjoy a healthy student life. Its right beside 2 tram stops: Haymarket and Flemington Road with one tram stop away from the city. The University of Melbourne is practically 2 minutes walk away. I am unfortunately graduating soon and going to live off for a month or two with my parents. The staff is super friendly, including the receptionist, manager and accountant. I've had a super amazing time living here.

We are on the edge of the CBD across from the Royal Melb Hospital - walking distance from Melbourne Uni and RMIT city campus'. Errol street, Lygon street and the CBD are easy access so food, drinks etc are sorted, plus the Queen Vic Market for cheap groceries and entertainment. Trams 59, 19 and 58 are right on our doorstep and the Flagstaff and Melbourne Central train stations are an easy distance (walking or via tram). We have air conditioning, heating and a pretty large balcony. The living and dining space is open with the kitchen to one side, and there are wooden floors in the joint spaces (carpet in the bedrooms). The bathroom is large and in good condition. Our neighbours are generally quiet and friendly and we are located on the second floor - there is a lift. If you live here you will need to fill out an application (for the estate agent) to be on the lease: we are not sub-letting. There is also a transfer fee of $110 to be paid to the estate agent to be on a month-to-month lease. Rent is paid monthly and bills are not included (though you will probably be saving on public transport). We have a secure underground parking space but it is currently occupied with a motorbike. There is paid street parking available and you can also apply for a resident permit. There are heaps of car-share designated spaces on our street including GoGet, Green Share and a few others. The bedroom has in-built hanging space and we have a bed frame, 2 x matching bedside tables and a mattress for sale (pictured) if you want furnishings. We have had a cat live here for about a year (though will be moving out with the owner) so if you have a pet that is ok living indoors and the real estate agent is all good with it, then it should be fine.
This is a modern spacious townhouse, in great condition, and we're in a brilliant location for getting around Melbourne. With the high ceilings of the spacious main living area and with both occupants having space at the top and bottom end of the house everyone has their own private space but also a good shared space as well. It’s hard to find a 2-person place this nice and this close to the city. We’re 5 mins walk from the CBD, Royal Melbourne Hospital, Melbourne University’s main campus and from 5 mins walk from trams, grocery store, Errol St, Queen Vic Market, local pubs and bars, and petrol station. 5 Minutes by tram from Royal Children’s hospital. 10 mins tram ride to Flinders St Station. The split level nature of the property also allows for 2 people to live here and still have their own space. Ground Floor: Largest Bedroom and garage. This is the room up for offer. 1st Floor: Kitchen, dining and lounge room, laundry room, 2nd bathroom (toilet only). 2nd floor: Main bathroom with shower and bath. My bedroom and office and balcony. Property also has - • Air-conditioning and living area heating (1st Floor, 2nd Floor) - Ground floor room stays cool in summer. • Living area heating, broadband Internet, dishwasher, clothes washer, clothes dryer, storage room, balcony, patio or deck and neighborhood views. PARKING: There is on-street parking that's pretty easy to provide. COSTS: $1310 on the 15th of every month (Includes internet). Only other costs are water every 3 months and power every month. Current flatmates will move out by the end of Oct. One of my conditions for moving in is that the person joining will also be willing to join the lease with me.
(The available date is TBC) So much character and space! It's kind of inspiring to live in this Victorian terrace apartment. The large rooms and very high studded ceilings are magnificent. It's got two huge lounge rooms, so you can always find the right space to entertain friends or perhaps work on a creative project. Location wise it's just a few steps to a lovely park and a couple of hundred meters from a supermarket/bottle store. All of Errol St with its bars, restaurants and shops are conveniently located just up the road. And there's several tram options about a couple of minutes walk away. A handy cross city bus stop is just across the road. Also there is a gym just one street over. The neighbourhood is lovely and seems safe and thoughtful (the apartment is really secure too). The place was renovated last year with: - new bathroom - kitchen upgrade - new carpets - painted walls and floors - new appliances Other novelties: - working fireplaces - BBQ courtyard - quiet neighbours - great landlord - fast cable internet The available bedroom is unfurnished. It's on the south side and catches the sun in the afternoon/evening also it has a mini rose window that slightly lights up the room in the morning. There is a built in wardrobe. The room is approx 3.5m x 3.5m (the scale in the pictures is thrown off by the high ceiling). The landlord is possibly open to the idea of a cat, although no cat door currently exists.
This place is a fantastic, quiet little haven in a friendly, quiet, safe little neighbourhood. It is close to the CBD (30 minute walk, 20 minute public transport), University of Melbourne (10 minute walk) and North Melbourne shops (5 minute walk). There are a number of public transport options available as well, a short walk (within 3 minutes) from the house. The room on offer is approximately 3.5m x 3.5m. It easily fits my double bed and furniture, and even has enough room for yoga! It overlooks a not-often used laneway, therefore, it is quiet and situated away from street-noise. There's a cute little rose window that lets in lots of natural light, and a roomy in-built wardrobe. The property has high ceilings and many skylights, which give the house an open feeling, filled with natural light. There are two living spaces: the entrance room of the house (pictured), as well as a larger, more traditional living room; so there's plenty of space to make your own. The house has a modern cottage-style vibe: newly-painted white walls, floor-board ceilings, working fireplaces and cozy atmosphere. In the morning, the sun floods through the front, downstairs living room, setting the perfect tone to the day.

Looking for someone to transfer my lease to (Available from October 19th.) I will be leaving Australia and would like someone to take over my lease as soon as possible. The Single studio room features a single Bed, great study space, wardrobe, heater and hand basin. Get fresh air and natural light with 1 opening window. Male & Female bathrooms and kitchen are communal. This is a private room but you will be in frequent contact with the other residents of the hall as the facilities are shared - this creates a good balance of privacy and sociability. The other residents are from a wide range of nationalities, they are all very friendly and there is a great sense of community. There are weekly free events as part of the Community Spirit Program including BBQs, breakfasts, cafe visits, movie screenings, academic support, career and employability, sport and volunteering. This is a great opportunity to make new friends and interact with other residents in the property, and to enjoy exploring Melbourne. The place is right across the University of Melbourne, as well as the tram stop. It is 9 mins away from Melbourne Central and QV. Message me for further inquiries :)
