Hi, We are looking for a new housemate in our very friendly Carlton share-house. The area: We are based in the centre of Carlton, on Cardigan Street near Faraday Street, just a block from Lygon Street, where you'll find an abundance of Italian restaurants, excellent cafes, Woolworths, Nova cinema, book shops, clothe shops, libraries, parks… We are also just a block away from Swanston Street with constant trams to the City, Brunswick or further afield. In 15/20 minutes walk, or 5 by bike, you can be in Fitzroy, Brunswick, Collingwood, North Melbourne or the City. The house: It is a great house, with a large lounge, decent kitchen, outdoor seating area and yard. There is 1 bathroom + an outside toilet. We’re a house of 5, but have never had problems with waiting for showers. The room: It is a pretty big room upstairs at the front of the house and gets great afternoon sun.
