I'm a young professional looking for short or long term accommodation. I'm very clean, sociable and enjoy keeping fit, and a social glass of wine. I work full-time in Marketing on Collins Street and spend my spare time visiting restaurants, reading, writing and try to be outdoors as much as possible. I'm very friendly and sociable and enjoy keeping an active social life. I am very clean and tidy and don't mind looking after the household if others are busy. Please contact me if you think I could be a good fit for your house.
Hello! We are looking for a new home! To get all the boring stuff out of the way; we're both working full time and used to living together and in shared houses. Ridgley is here on a 18month working visa from the US, and is working in logistics while trying to find long term environmentally focused engineering work. Mohani works in student services at a university while trying to find what on earth she would actually like to do with her life! ( We've all been there, amiright? ;) ) We're both well travelled, vegetarian, lovers of craft beer and big Rick and Morty fans. We like a super clean, positive and relaxed household and enjoy cooking, gym and keeping things pretty low key through the week. However we don't mind the -occasional- weekend rave and ultimately want a cosy house were we can get along and enjoy each others company and space 🙂 Our current lease ends Feb 16th but we're flexible with move in dates when we find the right place. At this stage we are looking for minimum six months but potentially longer!
I am Professional working in Banking/Finance and love what I do. From NZ and moved to Melbourne 6 years back. I currently live in a 1 Bdrm apartment in Richmond with my lovely dog Lola and am currently looking at sharing a house/flatting with others. In my spare time, I love socialising with friends be it drinks or dinner or a live comedy show, I play tennis and try ride my motorcycle on weekends weather permitting. I am a great cook and definitely not a slouch around the house but not quite the handyman either. I also have a tiny 9 year old Maltese (Lola) that I adopted 2 years back. She is extremely friendly and adorable who loves people and is very well house trained. We come as a package :-) I look forward to hearing from you.
Hello there future housemate(s), I’m Sanjit, a 22-year-old student who’s looking to move to Melbourne from Brisbane in order to pursue my Master’s degree in Food science at the University of Melbourne. I’m very reliable with rent and other bills (can provide references of previous housemates). I’ve lived in many share houses before so I know the drill! I’m hygienic, clean and tidy! I’m very chilled out and laid-back (so much so that I’m almost horizontal) and hope to find similar easy going and open minded housemates. Looking to rent a place for a minimum of 4-6 months and can extend it if it works out fine. I’m a very sociable person, love going out for food, drinks, movies and would love to find a chilled out place to call home. I also respect everyone’s privacy and will not be constantly pestering you haha. Since I’ll be starting with my Master’s degree, I’ll be pretty busy during the weekdays at Uni but I’m always keen to chill on the weekends. I love watching and playing soccer! (GO Manchester united!) I enjoy scuba diving, longboarding and am now looking into indoor/outdoor rock climbing. Also enthusiastic about patting dogs and watching funny dog compilation videos. I’m an avid music listener! Love rap, hip hop (artists such as Kendrick lamar, Eminem, 2pac, Biggie, The underachievers, Joey badass, J cole etc), classic rock (Pink Floyd, Guns n roses, Aerosmith, The beatles, Jefferson airplane, Creedence Clearwater revival, The rolling stones, Eric Clapton, Queen etc), Electronic (Flume, Nicholas jaar, Odesza, Pretty lights, Eric prydz, Bassnectar etc) and sometimes when I’m feeling classy, I’ll hit up some Wolfgang Mozart (what a ridiculously cool name) or Bach. So if you love music, I’m sure we will get along!! Also, I have a pair of headphones so you don’t have to worry about me blasting loud music. Also down to binge watch movies and tv shows. So, if you think we’d get along and would like to team up or you have a room available in your house, hit me up! I’m currently travelling overseas and will be arriving in Melbourne around the 25th of February. Send me a message if you're interested. Hope to hear from you soon :)
Looking for a place in the inner northern suburbs close to public transport. I'm currently studying Bachelor of Environment and Society at RMIT and working part-time at Cotton On. Looking for a quiet house with roommates who respect personal space but who also enjoy binge watching netflix together. I'm vegan but don't care about meat being cooked in the house, it doesn't reallt bother me. I would prefer a non-smoking house though, or at least no smoking inside.
Hi I'm Michael a 23 year old young professional who came to Melbourne from Auckland last year. I'm easy going, tidy but not over the top. Happy to split bills, chip in for upgrades to the flat, and have netflix. Always down to have a chat or go for a drink/coffee.
Hi, my name is Alicia and I'm from the South of England. I am an upbeat, sociable person but have a pretty busy job so tend to keep quiet during the week! I like to spend most of my spare time outside, finding new places to eat, going for a run or seeing friends. I'm hoping to find down to earth, like-minded people to share a home with.
I am a left-leaning, musically-interested, social and occasionally studious mid-twenties female looking for a fun, but tidy share-house in central Melbourne. I like good chats, loud music and cold beers. I just moved from Brisbane to finish a Masters degree in Creative Writing, Publishing and Editing at the University of Melbourne. I've been studying on and off for the last five years, having already completed a BA in Creative and Professional Writing, an Honours thesis concentrated in Literary Studies, and started a Master of Arts at the University of Queensland. Although I am fairly studious and busy during the week, I like to socialise on the weekends by going to gigs, sampling delicious beers and op-shopping. I enjoy reading, writing (obviously), music and photography. I also collect vinyls and will be sending down a vinyl player/large vinyl collection once I've got a place. I have worked as an ESL teacher for the past two years and I'm currently looking for casual teaching work. Your real estate can contact my real estate for a reference. I'm happy to pay three months rent up front. I have also lived in China, where I worked as an English teacher with kids, and I have lived and studied in Japan as an undergraduate. I am thus very open-minded to different cultures and lifestyles. If you like the sounds of any of this feel free to send me a message. I'm looking for a large private room as I would like to set up a desk for studying. I also need lots of storage space for my ridiculously large wardrobe of vintage and Japanese fashion (which I am happy to share if you're my size!). I have two couches, a washing machine, a brand new fridge, a two-seater dining set, a six seater dining set, coffee table...pretty much everything! It's all in storage at the moment at my parents' house and I'm happy to leave it there or send it down. I am also looking at vacant two/three bedroom properties on the Northside and possibly applying for a property by myself. So if you're in the same boat as me and looking for shared accommodation in a nice house in a centrally located suburb, feel to send me a message. You must be open-minded, house-trained and LGTB /420 friendly, and ideally within the age bracket of 20-30.
