Hello! Our townhouse is awesome! It's about 3 years old and seems brand new! It's a short (10 min) walk to Green Square station and an even shorter walk (under 3 mins) to Botany road, where the buses are. We are within walking distance to The Grounds of Alexandria and also Saporium, Three Blue Ducks/Koskela, Gelato Messina, etc... It's an ideal location! An 8 minute drive to the airport and about 10-15 minute drive from the CBD. Room 1: Available from NOW - $380/week (room is pictured) This room is located on the second floor, and has built-in wardrobes and is big enough for a queen bed and a set of drawers, plus a study nook. The bedroom is at the front of the house and also has a balcony. This bedroom shares a generously sized bathroom with one other bedroom. There is an internal laundry downstairs, with a wash sink, a washing machine and a dryer. A courtyard/backyard area. A large kitchen, separate living area and dining area. 1 half bathroom (downstairs - presumably for guests). The rent per week covers utilities and also internet. All rooms come unfurnished. This house is a NON-SMOKING zone and unfortunately at this stage we are unable to have fur-pets. There are 4 other housemates currently living in the house. Modern 3 bedroom, 2 story, top level walk-up apartment with city views in Alexandria. Carpeted throughout and fully equipped kitchen. 2 bathrooms with courtyard view from the room for rent. There's parking on the street if you have a car as well as a guest car park underground. Bus to city is less than one min's walk away on our corner and comes every 10/15 mins straight to city which is 10 mins/5km due north from this location. Parks and various amenities including many cafes nearby. The house is furnished but the large bedroom would accommodate some of your own personal furniture and belongings if required however such as a bed/desk/chair etc if you possess those. Only other bills (which are shared evenly) are line rental/NBN FTTB which is $30 per month each and paid monthly; gas and electricity paid quarterly are usually $30-$40 per month each respectively. So electricity is usually just over $100 dollars each per quarter. Gas is usually around the same. Gas and elec can fluctuate though and can sometimes be a little less or more than those figures stated. So it's a fair estimation to say that it is around $25 a week for all other bills plus $225 per week rent = $250 per week for all expenses. We're generally looking for someone who is positive, considerate and drama-free. If you are naturally self-motivated to be clean and tidy then this could be the place for you. You could be a student or work as long as income is no issue. It's okay to socialise here and friends are welcome. We cook/eat our food separately generally speaking and keep it simple with common sense - cleaning after ourselves as we go etc. We need a replacement for the other female housemate who has just moved out. I (the male) live upstairs and the female lives downstairs and we would ideally like to have another female continue to share the downstairs bathroom etc which has been the status quo here for the past few years.

We have only recently moved into this dual level two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. The apartment has been furnished with all brand new furniture. We've got a good sized kitchen and decent lounge with a 55 inch TV. For those cosy nights in we have Foxtel Now and Netflix. We have a courtyard with an outdoor lounge as well as outdoor dining. The location is pretty great with Bunnings across the road (hello weekend sausage sizzle), Woolworths and Dan Murphys a six minute walk away, the famous Grounds of Alexandria is 500metres away, a fancy wine bar only 50metres from our door, and numerous cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Both Erskineville and St Peters train station are a ten minute walk, Sydney Park is only a few minutes, and you can go for a wander and end up in Newtown without even realising it. The room is furnished with a queen sized bed and has a huge built in wardrobe. You will have the main bathroom to yourself, it has a bath and the laundry (we have both a washer and dryer). Internet, Netflix and Foxtel will all be included in the rent, gas and water will be split evenly between us all. Couples will be an extra $50/week. I believe a street parking permit is available, but am not 100% on that one yet. Please note that the photos are the real estate photos, once we have finished setting up (and all the furniture finally arrives) we can provide you with updated photos. Currently the place is a madhouse, boxes everywhere, no artwork on walls etc. Hence the late move in date :)
