Like living in a resort. The 7th fairway of the Murrumbidgee Coutry Club is your back yard; in ground pool out the other door. Configured as three bedrooms with three separate living areas. Utility bills separate but gardener, pool cleaning and nbn are included in rent.
Amazing chance to live on a farm within a 20 minute drive from the city! Situated on a horse agistment place (there may be the possibility of brining your horse with additional cost to the rent) in one of the most beautiful places in Canberra. If the ability to live close to your horse doesn't tempt you enough (or you don't have one) it is a close drive to Tidbinbilla and Mt Stromlo for hiking, mountain biking and rock climbing. The property also backs on to the Murrumbidgee with a nice swimming spot in summer easily accessible. The property is a two bedroom cottage. The room would easily fit a double/queen bed, cupboard and tall boy (unfortunately no built ins but there is a cupboard here if you need). The communal space is large enough and the kitchen has plenty of storage. The verandah has an amazing view and is a great place to share dinner or a drink (or two). The wifi is currently being installed but unfortunately will not be unlimited due to the location. The garden is big and if you are interested there is plenty of space for a veggie patch. There is a wood heater and an abundance of wood ready for the winter which keeps electricity down (the only bill we have to pay - split evenly) Animals will be considered.
**** Updated price and included car spot Vegetarian/Vegan house The apartment has two decent sized rooms. Master bedroom has ensuite which is taken by me. The living area is decent size with electric cooking. There is a balcony attached with living area and a separate store room is also available. The apartment is close to community swimming pool and gyms and shopping places (Hyperdome) and restaurants are not too far either. All within 5-10 minutes of walk. Been in canberra all my life. Tidy, friendly, respectful, funny, social, easy going and mostly keep to myself. Willing to pitch in wherever needed. I love music, gaming, pets and just having a laugh.
I am 18 and am looking at moving out of home for the first time into a share house. I currently work two casual jobs but am looking into getting steady full time work. I do not drink or smoke. I enjoy hanging out with friends and going to the gym and get along very well with animals. I am an avid cooker and love to spend time in the kitchen coming up with new meals for everyone to try. I tend to keep to myself and love privacy, also enjoy a friendly chat from time to time. Looking to either team up with like minded people wanting to move into a larger home or a free room :)
Hi there! I'm a triathlete who lives an active lifestyle while being very neat and organized. I always clean up after myself and I am quiet most of the times. I don't smoke and added to this, I always follow all the house rules and would only use the necessary areas such as the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Aside from going to work (I work as an Early Childhood Educator - and yes I can babysit if needed), I'm usually out on training either swimming, cycling, running or working out at the gym so I prefer to be located close to any of these facilities. Also, I would thrive well in a modern establishment with respectful, quiet and tidy housemates. Utilities/Facilities that I'm looking for: -Shops and groceries like Coles -Nearby gym and swimming pool (optional - as I train in CISAC or AIS) -Reverse cycle aircon -Washing Machine and Dryer for clothes -NBN internet that can play YouTube videos in HD without delay (I used to live at a flatshare where it takes 5-10 mins to open my e-mails sometimes disconnecting in between and that was not fun at all) -Storage space for my 2 bikes - 1 road bike used for commuting and the other for training (or any space will do - even in the living room, relax... I have training mats for my bikes to sit on since I don't like to dirty your carpet) -I have a car but offstreet parking is okay for me. -A small yard or area with access to tap water to wash my bikes -Unused spare room or garage space (optional): Will primarily use this as a study/gaming/training room for my Ironman races that I'll be participating in months to come so expect me to be in this room most of the time. If you wish to contact me, please send me a message with a detailed info of the following: - Yourself - Flatmates - Room - PHOTOS - Viewing times - House rules And oh, I'm seeking for a home that has NO pets in it (unless its just Goldfish then its all good). Let me know if my profile suits your home. Cheers.
My partner and I are responsible young adults looking to move out for the first time. We are both recent graduates from Lake Tuggeranong College. Ben has a full time job and I am currently studying at CIT 4 days a week. We are tidy, non-smokers and we are more than happy to be social with flatmates. I don’t tend to login to this website very much and I don’t pay for it so if you’d like to team up and start a new sharehouse or if you think you have the perfect house for Ben and I, please message me and I'll give you my number. Thanks everyone!
Hey everyone! I am a friendly 20 year old who’s currently studying at CIT in Bruce and also working part time in Woden. I love animals and a glass of wine and some Netflix at the end of the day. I’d love a house mate that I can be friends with but also respects us having our own privacy. I’d prefer female house mates but open to having a chat about possibility’s if that isn’t that case. Look forward to hearing from you :)
I am currently studying a Bachelor of science in Psychology, majoring in Forensic Psychology at UC. I enjoy hanging out with friends and playing games. I am clean and friendly and I'm always up for a chat.
Looking for accomodation for between 9 and 12 months as I’m looking to join the Air Force, I currently work full time in Canberra. I’m a very clean and respectful person, I’m pretty quiet, but in saying that, I’m very friendly and happy to socialise with other housemates. It would be awesome to meet some housemates who share similar interests to become friends with. Some things I love are: Photography AFL (Essendon) NRL (Manly) Cars Music Travelling Great food Having a laugh I’m able to obtain references from previous real estate agents and other housemates if required. Ideally, I do prefer my own bathroom, I am quite fastidious in having a clean and hygienic bathroom, some housemates I’ve had in the past have been quite the opposite and don’t clean up after themselves and I would prefer not to share this time around. I would be more than happy to share a bathroom with someone who’s the same and is fastidious in keeping the bathroom clean as I always make the effort to leave it clean for my other housemates.
My name is Owen, I am Junior drone pilot from Melbourne. I recently found work in Canberra however and am looking for a room to rent! I am an extremely easy going 22 year old that loves sport and a casual drink with mates.
I am a highly educated and easy going male professional who has been working as a high level contractor for the same department for almost 4 years. I am looking for a Medium to Large unfurnished room in Greenway, or very close by with the ability to connect to the NBN. I do have enough furniture to fill an apartment, but at this stage, I am only looking for an unfurnished room. I am happy to bring in something you may not have if need be. I commute from my home in Melbourne and I am usually only in Canberra Sunday evenings to Friday afternoon, with the occassional weekend here. I am sociable, easy going, very tidy in my home environment and I have no problem sharing cleaning tasks. I should mention that I am an excellent cook, across quite a few cuisines and I love to cook for others. I am also skilled at catering for specific food intolerances. I have a home in Melbourne with my partner, which is open for my potential housemates to stay for the occasional trip to Melbourne in one of our spare rooms. Due to my role, I cannot disclose to much personal information directly on the website but I am happy to answer any questions you may have in person.
Hello, I'm 27 looking for a room anywhere in Canberra. I work full time in the public service and am also studying full time at UC. I'm quite busy and would generally be out most of the time. I'm quite social but can respect privacy.
Hello! I am a recent high school graduate and have just moved to Canberra from Sydney to work here as an Apprentice in the public service for IT. I am of South Korean background and moved to Australia when i was younger. Currently I am staying with my sister while I find a place to move out to. I am very self aware and i actually enjoy cleaning up after self. I also enjoy company and definitely look forward to meeting new people and spending time together but i also understand and appreciate the need for privacy and time alone.
We are a young couple who are looking for a shared accommodation to live in for a few months until we find a property to rent privately. We both work full time hours in retail, and are laid back and easy going. Andrew is a Canberra local and keely has recently moved down from sydney so a shared rental would be great to be able to meet new people in the area.
friendly, easy going, understanding, teamwork are important to live or share a place with some other people, I am from south Asia, I am very friendly with people, I always try to keep myself busy and always keep smile no matter what my situation is.
I’m a friendly, fun and mature person who’s clean and tidy and always up for a natter as well as respecting everyone’s privacy in times of need. I can play a few musical instruments and like my chill out time. I’m always on top of the housework and don’t mind getting stuck in when required. I’m originally from Manchester, England but have lived in Australia for 10 years now. I like to socialise and meet new people and have a few drinks and a laugh, nothing overboard. Would love to meet some likeminded people to philosophise with and chew the fat.
