I have a golden retriever called Ruby. The house is situated on a 5 acre block of cleared land and bush. It is a 20-25 min drive to town, 5 min drive to the Blackmans shops/beach and 10mins to Kingston. It is a 15 min walk down to the Howden waterfront or a 5 min walk up to the Tinderbox hills walking track. Shared utility costs, this includes electricity, internet ($28p/m), and tank water.
Hi, I'm originally from Sri Lanka been living in Australia for the past two years. I've got a job and moved to Hobart and I'm looking for a place to stay. I'm very clean and organised. I mind my own business and I cook well. I do not party often and loved to chill at home by myself or with company. Love animals :)
I'm a really easy going person. I'm neat and tidy, a great cook, quiet, kind, friendly and very considerate. I don't have any pets myself but I like animals and am happy to look after a house mates' animals if needed. I get along with everyone and would be happy to share with people of any age (who have left their party years behind them). I'd be equally happy to house share with a couple or family or with an elderly person who requires some assistance to live independently. I have many family and friends, so am often out, but when I am home I like to have a chat and be social.
I am a generally clean and tidy person, and I take my fair share of the housekeeping load. At the moment, I'm still a college student, working part-time, and am just fairly quiet in general. I'm very flexible in who and where I would flat with. I do have a dog who is excitable, though, so bear that in mind.
Outdoor Education Guide working on the Tasman Peninsula looking for a Hobart base. I work full time. Very neat and looking for a quiet place with great energy.

Hi! I'm a 25 year old studying Ancient History at UTAS. I'm looking for a new long-term rental as my current landlord has decided to sell at end of my lease. I am pretty laid-back, respectful, quiet, tidy, friendly but introverted (I tend to read, play games, watch Netflix) I would love a place where people are around in the evenings to catch up. I don't drive, so good access to public transport is a priority
Love socializing, playing sport and relaxing. Spend a lot of time outdoors and always doing stuff. Enjoy down time in the afternoons. Will be working and studying uni online next year. I come with my loving dog Roly and cat Nala both of which live inside and outside but this can be worked around. You can often find me playing netball, football or with my boyfriend. Looking for somewhere longterm and need to move before the 19th of October!

My name is Josh and I am currently in the process of relocating to Hobart from rural Victoria. I am a single professional, looking to return to study in the new year. I have a well trained adult dog (Odie) who would be moving with me. He is both inside/outside trained. I have a friend network here already and I am a clean, respectful, quiet guy. I can also provide references if you are interested. I'm keen to explore Hobart and I am very excited to be moving to Tasmania. At this stage I could relocate at anytime - it is just a matter of securing a home! Please feel free to ask me any further questions! Cheers Josh
Im healthy and fit am fairly busy . I work part time train regularly in gym and sing for a profession.I am sociable, easy going , responsible reliable and a happy person who loves a laugh. I love camping and fishing and the outdoors I love life !
Hello! I am currently finishing an Undergraduate Arts degree in Philosophy with interests in Continental and Asian philosophy. I enjoy playing music (guitar and piano) and writing songs. I also like to spend time in coffee shops reading and writing as well! I am a good neat and tidy housemate and am respectful of everyone I may live with. I like to cook a fair bit, love animals, am friendly and interested in other people. Ideally I'd like to live with people who are friendly, upbeat, artistic and who like to create a homely atmosphere.
We live on six acres; the place is lovely and spacious. We have paddocks, orchard, chooks, a veg garden, outside cat and a 7 year old gentle dog. The house is big so your room is at the same end of the house as the other person renting. The bathroom you will use is close by. Your room has a queen size bed, bed side tables, large fitted wardrobe and desk/ table. There is a large spacious living zone with wood burner, table and kitchen. You will be expected to pay on time, clean your room and share in the cleaning of common zones.
We have THREE rooms free coming up. One room will be free from the end of October (date variable to negotiation) to the 19th of December so approximately 1 month and 3 weeks. Another room will be free from the 9th of November to the 19th Of December (1 month and 2 weeks approximately). And a third room will be free from the end of October to the 14th of November (short-term, 2 weeks). The place is fully furnished including your room which has an in built cupboard and bookshelf. I also have spare linen if required for free. We are right next to the bus stop which goes direct to CBD and UTAS, and also walking distance to the signal station and Mt Nelson store. There is ample space for parking. The rent includes all bills - water, electricity, and unlimited high speed NBN as well as toiletries (handsoap, toilet paper, washing powder, fabric softener, spray cleaner, kitchen roll). The kitchen is also fully stocked with pots, pans, chopping boards etc. Just bring your clothes and electronics! We are a friendly set of housemates. We want someone who is responsible by paying their rent and bills on time, polite to the other housemates, cleans up after themselves, respects space. This place would probably suit someone who is travelling through Hobart, or who is currently stuck at a hostel and wants to get out but hasn't found more permanent residence - stay with us out of the hostel whilst you find longer-term accommodation. It would especially suit someone going to UTAS as the housemates also go there and we can carpool or walk together. At this point we CANNOT accommodate couples or pets (except for idk goldfish or hamsters)
To be honest，We hope long-term steadiness. We are very simple people. I have a full-time job at Mckay Timber. My wife who she has full-time study in UTAS. We are tidy ，clean ，quiet. I hope what I want is what you want. Thank you.
I am a student at UTAS. I am tidy, clean and always try hard to look after the place. I have experience with house sharing before having house shared for over 1 yr and understand the boundaries set with other people. I am a full time study student so will not be home for a lot of the time. I am easy going and friendly to others. I have lived in Australia for 10+ years.
Friendly and quiet student. Doing Certificate II in kitchen operations. First aid certificate and also volunteering at YARC and Various other youth services. Love my plants, and friendly around animals. I'm working on getting an apprenticeship / job atm Would be lovely to meet any potential housemates in future. I Don't smoke or drink, but I do enjoy going out to comedy shows and events.
Hiya! I'm Lauryn, studying Marine and Antarctic Science at UTAS. I'm looking for somewhere to rest my head come next semester even starting in Nov/Dec this year. I moved to Tassie from Sydney in July and love it. I enjoy hiking, camping and all things outdoors, I like my down time featuring red wine, reading, music and I'm a self confessed coffee snob (not an actual snob though)
Hi all! I'm a Dutch PhD student starting at UTAS in December, and looking for a room and some nice people to live with. This means I'll be working full time (as a philosopher in the law department, researching climate change policy), and would enjoy a comfy home and some people up for a chat/sharing dinners. I spend my spare time with outdoor activities, going (swing) dancing (a lot), and cooking/baking for/with friends, but I can also glue myself to my laptop or a good book once in a while. I value open communication, and prefer surrounding myself with progressive people. As I only arrive in Hobart at the end of November, I would not be able to meet you in person before I would need the room, but I am definitely up for Skype-ish meetups beforehand! I would prefer a space to live where I could stay for a longer period of time, as well as something furnished, but I'm open to anything nice with nice people.
