I am a single, quiet and respectful man who cleans up after myself and my dog, looking for somewhere to live. I am at times sociable but my partying days are far behind me now. I have moved to Victoria from Alice Springs. I have full time work at Melbourne airport and would likely be gone from 7am-6pm, Mon-Fri. I am also looking into doing a diploma next semester with would keep me fairly occupied of a night time. I have a 2 y/o cross breed dog called Bear (about the size and shape of a greyhound). He is a great dog, desexed/registered, friendly and loves to be around people. Used to get along with other dogs really well but unfortunately his attitude towards dogs has changed a little since being in Victoria. He gets walked just about every day and is an outside dog so I am looking for a place with a bit of a backyard for him and fenced. I would also prefer if he was the only pet in the household, although not a deal breaker. Some weekends I am gone for Friday night til Sunday night (the dog comes with me) visiting family and friends, other weekends I am happy to stay home, do my general household duties and catch up on TV series. Looking for a room for $150-200 a week, in the Macedon Ranges/Hume region. Realistically I would be looking to move in around mid May.

Hi, I am a fulltime working guy who works for Council in the City of Melbourne and I am seeking a place to share in the out skirts of Melbourne. I plan to commute by v/line train to work and back for it is easier for me than dealing with traffic snarls that happen too often for ones liking. It would be good to also travel to country areas in my days off to seek my hobbies of fishing and hiking. I am currently sharing a house in the Western Suburbs in a fairly built up area and find it too busy with traffic and congestion everytime you want go anywhere and do anything. The place where I currently have lived for sometime is also congested. There is to many people and too little room for me and I have stuff in storage which I would like to get out. Time for a sea change! All my family are in West Australia and I pretty much here by myself. Its the job that I have that keeps me here and It a great job and I wont be leaving it for sometime I would think. I work a hell of a lot and I possibly work too many hours hense the country air and peacefull sounds of the bush is what I am seeking. I save up holidays for block trips back home to Geraldton a Couple of times a year and plan a large road trip for one of the family and myself back across to the West later this year. I really would like a safe a secure surroundings that has some parking and storage area for a car and trailer and a not too large shed or storage area for essential tools that I have. I am your typical bloke who can fix most things and I also have garden tools as well. Im not weird but there is something therapeutic about a lawn mowed properly. Yes I admit it, I like to do the gardening if available. I am not a drinker and I dont smoke. I did my bit of all that many years ago and realised that it was not only wearing a hole in my pocket, it was starting to affect my health like every one else. so I dont do any of that. I dont care if anyone else does dont get me wrong, I am not a cigga nazi or a anti alcohol wowza, I just dont do it. I am house trained also, yep I am not frightened of the mop or the vaaccum. Its pretty easy to do that stuff if it is kept up with, Its only hard when its let go and gets out of control. There ive said it. Strange coming from a guy huh. I have heaps more that I could fill the page with about me suffice to say that I have worked and travelled around Australia several times and I have worked in areas such as Mining, Steel, Primary industries to even medical, yep I also did nursing for six years. So if your looking for a reliable, full paying, house trained co inhabitant, I am possibly the person you seek.
