I'm a full-time working professional & business owner, in Security, Events & Automotive Journalism. Due to these fields, I tend to work from home 2 -3 days a week. But also travel interstate often. Self confessed coffee addict, easy going, don't mind a good chat but also enjoy my quiet time. When I'm home, I generally like to relax, gaming or watching Netflix. Its not a party household but don't mind an occasional BBQ gathering. My animal babies are a Sulfur Crested cockatoo and a doggo. The doggo is a 10yr old Kelpie X Staffy named Cosmo. Best described as a midget kelpie that's as lovable and needy as a Staffy. She LOVES cuddles. The cockatoo is a 15yr old boy named Archer who's cheeky talkative, he says hello and mumbles a lot. As you can see, I'm an animal person so it would be essential to have a love for animals. All are indoor pets and super friendly.
Almost brand new house in the quite suburb. Very nice area and people. Walking distance to local club and swimming pool is free till the end of the year. Great for someone working around Queanbeyan area. Less than 30 minutes to city. Both central heating and cooling is available. The room is a en-suite with its own toilet + a queen bed and some other basics. You also have a walk-in wardrobe!!
Hi everyone, Just leased this 3 bedroom property in Queanbeyan East and now am in search of housemates to share it with. As you can see, it's pretty new all around and bedrooms come with built in robes, but unfurnished. Short drive to the main Queanbeyan shopping precinct & also into Canberra. The house is equipped with a smart TV, all kitchen appliances and furniture. If you have your own stuff I'm sure we can arrange space around the house for it. Included in rent: All bills (water, electricity, gas) Internet Cleaning products, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper, etc. Common food such as bread, rice and possibly other things (to be discussed). Minimum stay 6 months. 4 weeks bond, 2 weeks rent upfront, No pets (sorry, not my rule)
Its a four bedroom house in a nice and peaceful suburb at Googong. Its a 5 minute drive to Googong dam which is a good place to visit. Googong has a lot of play areas for the kids and 2 big well maintained fields/parks. Our house has other rooms you can relax yourself at like tv/music room, a mini library, living room area or at our 8x4m deck with barbeque grill if you opt for outdoor relaxation. Notes: 1. $200 is the price for a single person on this room. This includes use of internet and water. 2. Electricity included but if average usage is above then we all share the excess. If there is an excess, estimated contribution is $5-$15 quarterly. 3. Our house is 10mins walk to Domino's pizza and IGA convenience store (open 7am to 9pm) 4. Our house is 4mins walk to Duncan Fields (where you can play basketball, soccer or rugby. 5. Just realized that published street on address is incorrect. Our street is Christie.
North facing, warm and light filled home tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac with ducted cooling and heating. The rooms are unfurnished but the rest of the house is pretty well stocked with anything you can need. Open to more if you have it though! It's a short drive from Canberra, and an even shorter walk to a great track along the river.
The property has Aircon, heating, Wifi. The property is quite large in space. With walkable distance to the Queanbeyan CBD it is easy to get around. Quiet neighbourhood and plenty of street parking. We have a master bedroom with two build in wardrobes and a mirror and the slightly smaller bedroom which i am occupying. We also have a balcony and a storage unit downstairs. if you would like to find out more, feel free to message me. thank you
My name’s Cherisse and I’m looking for somewhere to live in the ACT or Queanbeyan with housemates who are easygoing and fun. I’m pretty busy so I mostly keep to myself, but I’d love to live with people who share a few drinks or go out from time to time (I love love love karaoke). I’m a freelancer and often work from home, so I need a room with a reasonable amount of privacy and housemates who don’t mind helping me procrastinate through my writers block. Everywhere’s a twenty minute drive from everywhere else in Canberra, so the most important thing for me is finding housemates who are a good fit. Otherwise, I’m into fitness, don’t smoke, like animals and have a healthy fear of spiders. I come with an eight year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Dexter. He’s not very active, so he doesn’t need much space, but he does need secure fencing. He’s adorable, housetrained and loves cuddles and other dogs. I’m open to any sort of lease for any length of time. I’ve got my own furniture, internet and Netflix account, so all I really need is a bedroom. Hit me up if you’ve got a room that might suit me.
Available end of May. Furnished room available in a 2 bedroom, 1 shared bathroom, well-furnished townhouse. In a great location in the centre of Queanbeyan. Walking distance to hospital, shops, bus stop and train station and a short drive to most of Canberra. Room comes with single bed, bedside table, dressing table, tallboy and built in wardrobe.
I am searching for a room to let. I am a 37 year old male from England. A pet less adaptable nonsmoker who enjoys clean, tidy and peaceful living. My hobbies include cooking and cleaning. Just landed a new job in the area. #Capricorn##INTJ##youngest sibling# Cheers Ben
The hubby and I, both 35, are moving to Canberra in June 2019 under the 190 Permanent Residency visa. Dheeraj (hubby) is in the F&B line, while I am in Marketing and Communications. We will both be looking for fulltime jobs, but are able to pay for rental initially. We love to eat and travel, and are a fun, loving couple with lots of stories to tell, if you want to listen! :) We are happy with a master room ensuite - preferably furnished as we are only arriving with our clothes.
27 male, respectable individual. Working Professional, who mostly keeps it to himself but enjoys casual chats at times. Love star gazing - have my own telescope. Recent engineering graduate, so have been a student myself and I will be great with students. Happy to help with your coursework as well at times ;) just ask me nicely. HaHa
Hey People, I’m a Brow Waxer moving to Canberra from Brisbane in May. For fun I like to socialise and go on adventures. I’m clean and respectful of others spaces. Hibernate mostly when it’s chill, always up for a laugh. Quite outgoing and down to make some memories with some new housemates 🌻
