Nice Breezy house with good backyard and bus stop at door. 5 mins to Fassifern station and Toronto shopping centre. 25 mins to Newcastle CBD. 5 mins to Lake Macquarie and parks. Room has built in wardrobe and ceiling fan, double bunk bed is available if needed. The living areas are spacious and the kitchen has plenty of cupboard space and benchtops. A shared internal toilet and bathroom and external laundry overlook gardens where I grow some vegies and herbs.
Hi, I'm a registered nurse doing night shift and looking for a team up. I'm easy, just want to chill on my days off and sleep a lot lol I like to go out as well..like movies or just chill somewhere nice with a relaxing view :)
I have a positive outlook and I'm easy to get along with. I love to connect with people but also like time to myself. I'm a part-time Student welfare worker. Things I like: Nature, Yoga, Chi Gong, Gardening, good food, outings, travelling, children, photography, self-development. and did I mention FUN?
Renovated Federation home on a hill with a view and well kept gardens (garden maintenance is included in rent). This property is only just up the road from the local pub, cinema and IGA, and a mere 15 minute drive to the university. It is air-conditioned, has a modern kitchen, dishwasher, and a lock-up garage. Each bedroom has a built in wardrobe. The only furniture you need to bring is for your bedroom. There is a large third bedroom that I use as an office/study space. I only use half, so the other half is yours. Internet, Netflix and landline are connected which we would split billing on.
Is your home a blissful, amazing sanctuary that lights up your heart? Is the granny flat, converted shed or self-contained something on your property calling for a loving, creative, grounded & balanced being to inhabit it? Hi, I'm Jen. After many years of house sharing I feel a longing to have a space to call my own. However, I believe we are meant to exist in community, so I'd love to share the land & cost of overheads with organically minded, earth conscious & energy conscious people. A snapshot of me: I'm 36 and work in a variety of fields in the Arts, Self-development & Event Management fields. Last year I returned to my home town of Newcastle after over a decade away of job pursuits & I'm happy to be back & closer to friends, family & the beach. I enjoy my work as Studio Manager of an Art Studio in Wallsend, alongside building my own business as a Shamanic Womancrafter, Life Doula, Artist, Healer & Teacher, running women's circles & currently studying the women's mysteries & spiritual practises. I want to be radically honest here about who I am. For some, what I just wrote may seem a bit far out or 'hippy', but I hope for the right people, you'll read between the lines & feel what I'm about. I'm caring, empathetic, motivated, logical & got my feet firmly on the ground! Apart from all the usual 'fully house trained' stuff (even considered a bit of a handy-woman & come with tools to help with odd jobs & repairs around the house), I come with a fur child. Elkie is my 14yr old, female tabby cat. She's super chilled, doesn't wander very far, spends most of her time sleeping on my bed & loves a good chat. My wish list - We're longing for a self-contained space that is quiet & safe - Window & doors screened for mozzie protection - Separate bedroom to the living space would be ideal - Loads of natural light & air flow - Grass, tree's & nature are my daily medicine, so some greenery would be amazing - Bath & air con are luxury items I would thank the stars for! - Space for my art studio/office set up - Storage for my camping stuff, bits & pieces - Kitchen I can create in - No more than a 30min drive from Wallsend would be preferred & close to a water source would be magic! - Unfurnished, as I have everything. There are so many different types of properties, homes, families & living arrangements out there, so if any of this has kept you reading so far & you've got something that might suit, I'd love to hear from you. I know the perfect sanctuary exists! I look forward to meeting you.
Hi, I'm Liz. I'm an Office Manager looking for accommodation for 4-5 months while I work in Newcastle, after which I'll be relocating to Byron Bay. I'm professional, friendly, easy going, but also quiet and respectful. I'm well travelled and have a positive outlook on life with a keen interest in self-improvement. I'm not a party girl; I prefer a quiet glass of wine on the deck on a Friday night. I also love cats and dogs if you happen to have any (I don't have a pet). Looking in areas up to 25 minutes from Mayfield.
I'm relocating from Sydney to Newcastle with my job and to live closer to my boyfriend. I keep to myself but can still be fairly social, I work full time which generally keeps me occupied. I'm a vegetarian, prefer to live environmentally friendly and as plastic free as possible. I like to keep things clean and tidy will make sure to keep any mess I do have to my own space. I have a 4 year old Ragdoll/snowshoe cat called Romeo. Hes a lovely boy who is fairly low maintenance, he has a kind temperament and enjoys company (but not necessarily attention).
25 mins from Newcastle by car. One room approximately 3m x 3m. Furnished with double bed, chest of drawers, desk and chair. Looking for an employed person or student, not unemployed or on Centrelink. The land is waterfront to Lake Macquarie, great view. You would be sharing the 3 bedroom house with one quiet young guy who stays only 1 or 2 nights per week. Also myself (31 yr old Aussie male). We are quiet and non-smokers. It's an old house (1940's). Quiet street. Bus at end of the street to Fassifern train station (train station 3 minute drive away) Close to main street of Toronto where Coles and Woolworths are. Off street parking. Large backyard backing directly onto the lake, great view. I am a quiet person so if you make a lot of noise at night time or play music late at night then this house isn't for you. (bedrooms are located side by side so TV/music noise travels very easily, ear phones are a great invention.) Electricity, water and unlimited wireless internet included in price. Based on minimal electricity use, if you want to use a heater in your room this can be negotiated for a higher rent. Bond is $300 CASH. 1 cat already, no additional pets. No Smoking Anywhere. I mostly occupy my lounge room TV as I use it as my computer monitor when I'm at home after work. So you may want to have your own Near train and bus. Rent is for the room only, do not ask to store a trailer, boat etc. on the property. Not good for people allergic to bees as I have bee hive in part of the back yard as my hobby. Not suitable for people with children as I don't want kids here. Ideally looking for someone around my age.
Easy to get along with. neat and tidy. Pretty quiet during the week but enjoy to be social on the weekends. Live a very active lifestyle and love going on little adventures. I also own a 4yr old labrador that's house trained and lives outdoors
Hi, My name is Marissa and my partner Matt and I are looking at moving in together from mid-August. We both currently live in separate share houses. We are looking at the possibility of renting a three-bedroom house and sharing with another person. We are looking for a person who may be interested in sharing with us and becoming a future flatmate and hopefully friends. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Laws/Communication at the University of Newcastle and am in my fourth year at university. I work part-time as a youth support worker in Out of Home Care. I enjoy living an active lifestyle, am outgoing and make friends easily. I'm a hard worker and like to keep myself busy. I go to the gym four times a week and enjoy the beach and visiting my parents on the Central Coast and in Sydney when I have free weekends as well as camping. I enjoy reading and watching movies and will be in Europe from mid-June to mid-August this year travelling. I've lived out of home since starting university, spending two years on college and the last 18 months in a share house with friends. I'd love a workout or study buddy, I'm very close friends with my current housemate! Matt works full time as a fence installer; his hours are between 5:30am-5:30pm Monday - Friday so he is not home much during the week. Whilst he is up early he is extremely quiet and rarely hear him leave. He is currently also living in a share house. On weekends he enjoys motorbike riding, fishing and a quiet beer or two. We are a laid back couple who rarely argue and get along well with each other as well as everyone else. We have our own friends outside our relationship and don't mind doing our own thing. Whilst a couple we have different interests and aren't joined at the hip. We don't go out a lot other than for the occasional dinner. It wouldn't be a party house but we wouldn't mind having friends around for a BBQ or dinner and a few drinks. We are both mature, clean and courteous and looking for someone who is similar. I'm easy to live but do admit to being a tad of a clean freak. I would rather let you know now so it doesn't create conflict in the future! As well as someone who cleans up after themselves we'd be also looking for a person who is willing to participate in general cleaning of the house on a regular basis to keep things clean, tidy and hygienic. This would include basics such as cleaning of bathrooms, mopping, dusting and vacuuming of other common areas etc. We'd each be responsible for our own rooms. Matt is a keen gardener and mower so it's unlikely we'd have to worry about outside. In the share house I live in we currently have a roster but happy to discuss different options. It would be the perfect place for someone studying or working fulltime who has possibly lived out of home before, wants to be social and likes some company but also to do their own thing. We'd like someone with a steady job or secure means to pay rent and bills. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in please contact us! I'd be looking to set one of the rooms up as a study/guest room so we are happy to split whatever the rent is three ways. Matt goes to bed early due to work and I often either finish work late or study late so will need a separate space. Matt and I both have savings and a stable income to purchase furniture and appliances so you'd only have to worry about furnishing your own room. Bills would additionally be split three ways - we'd like someone who is conscious when it comes to electricity as nobody likes seeing money wasted. Our max budget for a house overall would be an approx $510 - $170 each. We would prefer no pets not because we don't like animals but it makes finding a rental extremely difficult. We're happy to provide references of what we are like to live with! If this sounds like something you may be interested in please contact us to discuss further the possibility further! We know it's early but wanted to explore different options before making a decision!
I easy going, mature and respectful. Don't let my age deter you, I'm young at heart. I'm well travelled and happy to talk about most things. I'm not looking for a party house, rather a tranquil place to return home to. I have a thirst for life and humanity, by that I mean, people matter! I happy to pitch in and do my share of household chores and up keep of the home. I'm comfortable with pets. You won't find a better chilled out room mate. I enjoy walks, deep conversations, music, culture, spirituality, sport, and more, however I do like my own space Off street parking for my motorcycle would be ideal, but not totally essential. I'm looking to move in at the end of June, but keen to secure somewhere as soon as possible, and happy to pay a larger bond, if necessary. I look forward to hearing from you, male or female. David
Recently moved from Hobart, Tasmania, due to work. Currently working as a Full Time Payroll Officer in Cardiff and looking for a place to live close by (within the Newcastle region). Quiet, clean and easy to live with, but don’t mind a beer and a chat. Crazy about all sports and Looking to join a soccer team. Always pay bills on time and am very self sufficient. I also have all my own bedroom furniture, so a furnished room is not required. Dont know many people up here yet, so friendly housemates would be good !
I'm 25 and work part-time in retail, a lot of my other time is spent out of the house as I volunteer at a few different art galleries around the place. Looking for a pretty chill house, I'm not one to have crowds over or parties and am interested in a kinda similar house.
Australian and recently returned to Aus after spending two years living in Canada. I love to travel and get outdoors, hobbies include running, camping and hiking. I've lived in lots of share places previously and am clean, respectful and pretty quiet but happy to catch up socially with room mates and enjoy a few quiet drinks. I am moving to the lake macquarie/newcastle area for work in mid may, I grew up on the Central Coast so pretty excited to be going back to a beautiful part of the world. My work is varying shifts which will include at least one night shift a week so you will have plenty of space as well. Would be happy to stay for longer than 6 months, I would prefer not to stay anywhere less than 6 months. Send me a message if you want to know anything else.
I am honest clean and tidy person. I am respectful to other people and there property. I live healthy most of the time but do indulge at times. I love walking and the outdoors but also like to read a book or watch a movie. Don't go out too much not a party girl. Do like to have a couple of wines. I meditate and do some yoga.

Hi, I’m Jerome and I am looking to move closer to the beach in Newcastle. I currently work a full-time job in healthcare. I have lived out of home for eight years. As a tenant/housemate, I always clean up after myself and care for the property as if it were my own. In my spare time, I like to exercise, surf, eat fries and spend time with my friends. I enjoy living with people that are professional, positive and funny. Please feel free to get in touch if you have a room available or would like to team up. Jerome
