I am a tidy, friendly, happy person who enjoys my own space but also likes to be social. Work takes up a fair bit of my time but I like to have down time as well to do other things that I enjoy. I am happy to clean regularly to keep things tidy. I enjoy cooking and baking. I do not have much of a green thumb but am excellent at watering plants. I have lived in Canberra for almost 5 years now originally from Newcastle, NSW. I love the beach and get back to Newcastle as often as I can. If you have any questions, feel free to ask 😊

I'm a part-time worker (who does full time hours) and a full time student at ANU. I'm as busy as I am easy going - so while I may not always be around, I can be sociable and get along with just about anyone. I enjoy cooking and baking. Don't worry I always cleanup after - and share too! I also enjoy a good Netflix binge, game sesh and reading to unwind. I come fully house trained and with a PS4.
Relaxed 22 year old male with a naturally happy disposition seeking place to stay while studying primary school teaching for 4-5 years Into video games and movies, always up for a chat or an impromptu adventure, ideally looking for a place I can feel at home and enjoy the company of the people I am staying with - I don't smoke and I drink occasionally I enjoy boxing for fitness/fun, am a mediocre table tennis and billiards player but make up for lack of skill with enthusiasm as I do with all aspects of life Am an experienced cook and live a clean minimalist lifestyle love animals so any home with pets would be well received
WHO: I’m planning to move from Melbourne to Canberra soon - I have my eyes on ANU in 2018 so I want to spend the next year working and getting myself set up in Canberra. I’m quiet, independent and prefer to keep to myself. I’m not unfriendly and am happy to chat now and then but I am definitely not a party person. I’m clean, tidy and organised – when you see me around the house it will most likely be when I’m cleaning or in the kitchen preparing my meals for the week. I’m (mostly) vegan, don’t drink or smoke, and I am queer-friendly and pet-friendly. WHAT: I’m looking for a tidy sharehouse that I can come home to after work and on weekends knowing I can relax in peace and quiet. Ideal housemates will be tidy, responsible, and considerate of others. I don’t mind if you drink/smoke/eat meat as long as there’s no smoking indoors or drunkenness, and you don’t hang **** on me about my choices! I am looking for an unfurnished room that can fit a single bed, large chest of drawers, bookcase and desk. I will also need somewhere to park my car and some space in a kitchen cupboard for the bit of kitchenware I have. Internet access is also desirable. I’m hoping not to spend more than $200pw (plus bills) but would consider paying more for the right place. I’m hoping to stay long-term, but will also consider short-term opportunities. WHERE: As a newbie to Canberra I have no preference for area, so don’t be put off if your suburb is not in my list. My priority is finding the right place with affordable rent. WHEN: I can be flexible – hoping for mid- November but it will depend on what happens with work in Melbourne and, of course, when the right place is available. I would consider paying rent earlier than my actual move to secure the right place. HOW: I’m coming to Canberra next weekend (29-30 October) hoping to check out some places on the Saturday, and Sunday if need be. So if you would like to meet me and show me your place, or know more about me, please text or message me by Friday with a bit about your place and why you think I’ll be a good fit, and we’ll go from there. I might not be able to get around to everyone so the more you can tell me, the better!
Looking for a secure, music, (possibly pet) friendly home hopefully without couples. Studying full time at UC and am a major player within the music scene. looking for unsuite or parking
I'm Lauren, I'm 23 and currently living in Coffs Harbour. I'm finding it extremely difficult to get into the career I'd like up here, so I'm looking to move to Canberra, as soon as I can find suitable accommodation hopefully by mid-November. I've completed a Bachelor of Media and Cert III in Business Administration, hoping to get into the Public Service or into an administration position around the area. I'm extremely easy to get along with and very clean and tidy (ask my brother!). I love cooking and baking, gyming, going out for the occasional dinner and drinks with friends. I do like my own space and to be on my own some of the time. I would prefer to live with just one other person, the room be furnished and am easy with the length of stay :)
The house is located right next to Mother Theresa Catholic Primary School and it is a quiet place. If you don't have a car there is a bus station on Flemington Road, just about a few minutes from the house. Bus is frequent towards the city and Gungahlin Marketplace, you do not have to worry you will miss the bus ever again. The house is equipped with air conditioning and an instant water heater for your convenience, the house also has a good EER rating and you don't need to worry about cold nights no more. It is fully equipped with furnishings, cookware and cutleries as well. I am also planning to transform the backyard into a little garden, so if you are a green thumb you surely are welcomed!

The room has enough space for a double/queen bed, a chest of draws and a small desk. there is built in robes with double mirror doors too. The main bathroom is primarily yours but I occasionally like to have bath and would be used for when guests come over. You also will have your own designated outdoor car park. The courtyard is huge and a perfect space to entertain in the warmer months as a nice break out area. I currently have a cleaner who comes weekly so the place is regularly cleaned - vacuumed mopped bathrooms done etc. however I want a house mate who is courteous and keeps the common areas clean and is able to pack and unpack a dishwasher :) please send me a message if you'd like to know more about me or the property and a message telling me a bit about yourself - No couples sorry. The room is available from Sunday 23rd October, its about 8 months through the lease, which ends on the 3rd March 2017. I am looking for some one who wants to get on the lease. We're all relatively normal people who enjoy a social house chat and shared dinner. Some of our hobbies include (and intend to include) hiking/farmers markets/gardening/camping/cooking/craft/trashy TV/TV that's also not trashy/hosting dinners with friends/bike riding/yoga/you get the gist. We're looking for someone with similar values/interest whose sociable in the house but respects privacy, can keep most of their mess to their room and has a wicked dish to bring to the table. The living area is open plan with plenty of space, kitchen has gas stove and dishwasher, we will have a washing machine, house is ducted heated and there is a reverse cycle aircon in the living area. There is a two car garage and street parking in the front of the property. There are two courtyards, smaller in the front and larger in the centre of the property. Please email me if you think you think will be a great suit ! 2 courtyards ducted heating reverse cycle air conditioning dishwasher gass stove

I'm a 31 year old ex-public servant, currently looking for casual employment whilst I wait to commence study next year (Psychology). I am a single mum, however, my 2 year old daughter, Arabella, currently resides with my parents in Kambah. Although there is no formal care/visitation arrangements in place with my folks, it is expected that I go to Kambah to fulfill my visitation requirements, and it would be only on a very rare occasion that I would have to care for Arabella at my own abode. Other than that, I like to get out to see friends as much as possible, get out to gigs when I can, go out for dinner etc, but I also love just vegging at home and watching movies/TV series/Netflix, doing my crosswords, reading, listening to music etc. I am also a bit of an amateur musician - I sing and play a little acoustic guitar. This is a hobby I really want to get back into after years of being a bit lazy about the whole thing. NB: Please note that although I am a smoker, I am strictly an outdoor smoker.
I'm a 24 year old male International student, enrolled at ANU for masters. I am looking for a new place to live in North Canberra. I am quite chilled out and easy going, i like to go out on the weekends, would not mind a glass of wine and beer with my house mates, i follow sports, music, gaming, i love pets as well though i do not have one here. I like cooking also, a vegetarian so would prefer vegan/vegetarian housemates so we can share some good meals! :)
