Hi there! I'm looking for a female housemate to fill my spare room in a nice quiet Mont Albert unit. The room comes unfurnished, but has a decent built in robe and room for a queen bed. The rest of the unit is fully furnished and has a new kitchen, a cosy lounge room with air conditioning and heating, a laundry, a revamped bathroom, and off-street parking. There are polished floorboards throughout. The small backyard is perfect for sitting in the sun in the warmer months. It's in a great spot close to public transport (Mont Albert & Box Hill Stations, plus tram 109), cafes, Box Hill Hospital, Box Hill TAFE, and Box Hill Central. The area is very safe and green, and if you're into fitness you'll love all the parks and sports centres. It's only a 25 minute commute into the city. Rent is $791 per month + bills. I'm happy to share my Netflix and Stan subscriptions for free. You would be taking over the lease from another tenant, so ideally you'll be happy to sign a 12 month lease.
This house is perfect for someone who loves cats. The cat, a ginger / white cat called Humphrey, will greet you when you arrive home, sit on your lap and play with you. The house is in a quiet garden setting. Your room looks out onto garden and it feels like you are in a garden oasis. Tram, train and bus are all within walking distance and Box Hill Central is a short tram ride away. There is central heating for winter and air conditioning in the loungeroom to keep cool in summer. The entire house is furnished including kitchen utensils and linen. Near Box Hill TAFE and one bus ride from Deakin Uni Burwood campus. Overseas students very welcome!
Looking to 'teamup' and find a place in Surrey Hills, Mont Albert, Camberwell or Hawthorn. Hi! I'm Mitch. I'm looking for a relatively longer arrangement. 6-12 months or longer. I'm single, non smoker, and have no pets. I work 9-5 for a small private health insurance company. My interests outside of work include seeing live music, enjoying a beverage or two with friends and family. I spend a fair few weekends hanging out with my family in country Vic too. I keep my living spaces clean and tidy. I'm happy cooking my own meals or sharing meals with people. I do sometimes go for the convenience of eating out or getting lite and easy delivered weekly. I'm really sociable but also like my own space. I'm all about home being free of confrontation and stress. I've lived in a really big apartment for 5 years, so I'd like to live in a similar place. Somewhere new/renovated and clean with lots of light and lots of space. Looking for 2 or 3 bedroom apartments/houses/townhouses. I don't have a preference as to living with males or females. I'm also open to getting together a group of 2 or 3, and looking at some apartments/houses/townhouses. Send me a message if you're interested! Cheers, Mitch :)
Hello Everyone, So a little about us; We're both tidy, we like our privacy and respect others privacy as well, and we also love a good chat with the housemates we do live with, we like to garden and grow our own food, Gavin likes to do things around the house which makes him a good handy man anywhere, we're both easy to get along with. I volunteer with animals at the RSPCA in Burwood East, and soon to be volunteering once a week with the Salvation Army in helping the homeless through night watch. We're both a bit quirky and love creating things, I paint and draw, and gavin creates things out of anything he gets his hands on. gavin is studying horticulture and works in gardening on his extra days. We do eat more towards a vegan diet, (we don't mind if you don't). We are looking for a nice homey feel, a place we can look forward to coming home to from work that has some cool housemates, a clean house and a loving supportive environment. We would love to have people that are like minded in some ways living with us and looking toward the future with a positive outlook. A house with a good front or backyard (grassy) for Gavins gardening and a big bedroom is what we seek.
I am easy going, friendly, no-nonsense and always pay bills on time. Into sports, reading, cooking. Looking for a clean place with a room + attached bathroom + a garage (if available). Text me on. Cheers, Mo.
