Hello world this is Ann and Jessica. We are going to be moving to Brisbane in March sometime. We are both full time students, Jessica is studying a double bachelor of arts/business and Ann is studying bachelor of nursing. We both have permanent jobs as personal carers (aged care facility). We can be quiet at first but we are easy to get along with, always clean up after ourselves and have our rent paid on time. We enjoy having a couple of drinks every now and then and we are always up for a chat and laugh. Already have most of the furniture organised and you will only need to bring the furniture for your room. We have 2 small dogs and a cat so you must get along with animals.
Me and my girlfriend are best buds and are looking for a place to stay in Brisbane whilst we get our jobs and get some savings together for further travels around the world! I am a Building Service Engineer and Leah is a Beauty and Hollistic Therapist! Very easy to get on with, love spending time with others but love our own space too. We're both very much house-trained!!

Hi there, my name is Zara, 34, very down to earth, friendly female, working full-time as a Childcare Educator. I am clean, tidy & have lived in sharehouses for many years so I'm respectful of others. During the week I keep pretty quiet but don't mind a few glasses of wine on the weekend. I have always become good friends with my housemates & enjoy a chat over a glass of wine but also enjoy some solo time. I go out every now & again but this is definitely not a party house. I have a dog 'Bella', she is a 9 year old Dalmatian & is super friendly & gentle & fully house trained. You must love dogs & be ok with them being inside when we are home. You will be sharing the house with myself & a 31 year old female called Tegan. Tegan is a nurse & works office hours. Tegan also has a small Maltese x dog so unfortunately we cannot have anymore pets on the property. I am looking for female (early 20's - 30's) to sub-let the room I have available in my Queenslander style home in Ashgrove. Someone clean, tidy & working full-time would be ideal. NO Couples, sorry! The house itself has a large kitchen with plenty of cupboard space, lounge room with tv, dvd player/recorder, Unlimited Internet/optus fetch tv, brand new split-cycle aircon, solar power, separate bathroom & toilet, small back-deck which overlooks the huge leafy backyard. Laundry & lots of storage underneath the house. Lots of on-street parking available. The house is fully-furnished. Bedroom: (unfurnished) is a good size & would comfortably fit a double or queen bed. There is also a free standing clothes rail / wardrobe if needed. The room has one window which overlooks the park next door. This room is available from 11th November. Rent for this room is $123.32 p/w. The electricity is split evenly every 3 months & it is fairly cheap due to the solar. Broadband is split evenly, unlimited Internet. Lawn mowing is also split evenly $44 every 3 to 4 weeks. The house is within walking distance to public transport & local shops. There are some lovely walking/bike tracks if you are into fitness. 4km north-west of the CBD. This is a private rental, so no need to deal with real estate agents! Bond is 4 weeks rent, to be paid before you move in. If you are interested in taking a look please don't hesitate to contact me by text during the day, calls after 5pm. Don't miss this opportunity to move in with awesome housemates! Thanks, Zara.
Brand new two floor beautiful house. 15 mins by bus to go to city and QUT. 400m to go to local communities including Coles and Woolworths. One furnished bedroom in Ashgrove is available. King single bed, desk with chairs, big wardrobe and big ceiling fan are provided for the room. Two girls share one bathroom and 3 girls share a big kitchen and living area. The rent includes all bills and unlimited internet. Covered car park can be provided. NO BOND IS REQUIRED!
Our house is located in the beautiful, leafy, green suburbia of Bardon. The large queenslander has been recently renovated and has a nice big open downstairs with a huge kitchen and outdoor entertaining area. The property backs onto Ithaca Creek which makes for the most relaxing, rainforest-like getaway from city life. Your future room has a large wardrobe with shelves and hanging area, a large window with beautiful white plantation shutters and shares a bathroom with seperate toilet with 2 lovely roomies. You would best suit this house if you are tidy and chill but can also bring some friendly bants to the table.
Fully Furnished apartment as the downstairs part of traditional Triple Gable Bardon house. I am a 38yr old, single professional male. I live upstairs with my three kids who are with me half the time. The flat is beautifully renovated, with quality finishes throughout like hardwood floors and marble bench tops. There are two modest sized bedrooms with good sized built in cupboards. One bedroom has a queen sized bed (I can supply the linen), and draws, the other has a large desk. The furnishing has changed a little since these photos above. There is a small kitchenette with fridge, convection microwave, induction hot plates and small appliances. All crockery and cookware already in place. The bathroom is a good size with large shower, lots of storage, and a front load washing machine. The living room has a three seat sofa and armchair, dining table for two and a 40" Sony TV. One car accommodation available in the carport. Bardon is a beautiful suburb, well connected to the city with regular bus services. It's only $13 Uber to the CBD, so it's a great location for a night out. We have a large park within 250m, great running tracks along the creek and a cool cafe over the road. Would suit someone who is looking for a beautiful secure home close to the city. I have a strong preference for a normal person. You know; no crazy parties, no weird behaviour. Over the last four years I have had the good fortune to have a wonderful international student and then a professional woman. My ideal tenant would be long term, educated, interesting and easy to get along with. Might suit a uni student from the country, international student, single working person. I'm open to pets, but I have high expectations of behaviour. My Labrador doesn't bark, so I wouldn't allow a loud or destructive dog . The downsides. The living room of the granny flat is partially overlooked by the upstairs entrance hall. Security is good, but the privacy of the living space isn't perfect. When I built it, I did a lot of work to minimise sound from upstairs with specialised insulation and more, but you would still know when I am home. All bills including high-speed cable internet included. Possible upsides: If you are new to Brisbane the kids and I would be happy to show you around our favourite places and help you get settled. I also have a spare old car that I would consider throwing into the deal. It looks awful but runs great. You wouldn't pick up a date in it, but it would be a great commuter.
I am currently living in a share apartment with a small courtyard and am wanting to move somewhere with a big fenced backyard (with a pool if possible) so that my dog Baxter can have a happier life being able to run around outside. And I will soon be bringing my cat up from SA so looking for somewhere that is happy to have a dog and a cat as furry friends too. One of my current housemates may be wanting to move with me to a larger place too so am in a state of unknown at the moment but just wanting to see what is available now. If he is keen we will need a place with 2 rooms available that is close(ish) to the city as he works there and uses public transport. Should know by end of December. Our current lease doesn't end until February 2017 so if a great option comes up then will look at breaking the lease or replacing me/us. Baxter is only 9 months but the sweetest natured dog I have ever met. Great with adults, children and other animals. He is Maremma x German Shepherd x Border Collie x Cattle Dog. My cat Lola is a Ragdoll and like most cats is possibly bipolar and is either wanting to play or keeping to herself. Both pets are currently inside pets but will be converting them to outside pets mainly but want a place that is happy to have them inside still for cuddles every now and then or when it is bad weather. I have my own creative and consulting business and work mainly from home so looking for a place with a largish room that I can also use as my workspace. I am hopefully enrolling in part-time study next year to do biomedical science at UQ so I will most likely have my nose in books or my computer working a fair chunk of the time. I'm not really a party-goer but like an environment that has a homely vibe where everyone can have a laugh and get along but also happy to have their own time too. I love hiking, travel, being outside, exploring/trying new things. Also regularly take Baxter to the Nudgee dog beach so trying to find a place close to the river to go for walks or hikes at Mt Coot-tha or close to a dog friendly park. Needs to above the river as most my commitments are there and I want to avoid paying tolls or long travel time daily. Most important thing to know about me is I am considerate and polite and respectful of others in share accommodation and get along with most people. Love learning new things, cultures, and people. But, I can't stand liars, rude, contradicting or untrustworthy people so if that's you maybe skip past me.. ;p
I clean up after myself I am social and easy going, i would also be a good roommate.
Hi there, I am 31 and work full-time. My large dog, Indie will be joining as well. I tend to enjoy quite nights in during the week, as my job can be demanding. I am self-sufficient, but happy for chats and friendly dinners together as well. I am new to Brisbane and have loved exploring all on offer here, hoping to find a place that is close to cafes and shops.

I'm a student studying Nutrition/Communications at QUT, looking to move in with some cool people around the end of the year or by January 6th (when my current lease is up). I only go out occasionally, but am always happy to have a drink and a chat and be social! I work casually in retail, and when I'm not at work or uni I generally spend my time listening to music/watching Netflix/eating (tbh). I'm clean, don't smoke, and am a chill person generally! Message me if you think we'd get along, ideally I want to live with people I can be good pals with.
Hi my name is Kerry. Just moved to Brisbane, I'm easy going very active love bike riding and swimming. Love cooking and gardening and into sustainability. Like socialising, but like my own space and time.
Hey there, I'm a full time worker seeking somewhere central to call home! There's some shift work so you may not see me pop out during the day sometimes, but I'm definitely up for a chat over a wine (or many). I like to play sports and keep fit, but also make a kickass sour cream brownie. Have lived with flatmates throughout my time at Uni, so no stranger to keeping tidy and respectful. Look forward to meeting you!
I'm a 21 year old female who is independent and loves to socialise. I'm clean, respectable and not too loud! I enjoy a good wine night (or anything alcoholic really), movies, music, reading, writing etc. I'm easy to get along with and I'm a Psych major so not a great deal phases me!
As an individual, I am quiet and neat. I am a full-time Junior Accountant and have a few odd jobs on the weekends as well, so I am looking for a place with an environment that is peaceful and organised.
I'm a 2nd year nursing student at QUT - which is always handy to have around :-) Looking for a place with other students. Enjoy having chats and getting to know new people. I look forward to connecting with you.
I’m moving from Townsville to Brisbane to work at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. I’ll be working full time starting early January 2017 so will be moving down in late December. I’m clean, easy going and not a big party goer but would love to meet new people in Brisbane.

I work full time in Bowen Hills I am clean, tidy and respectful Things I am looking for: Large bedroom ensuite ceiling fan dishwasher nice place I have to be able to fit a queen bed, desk, keyboard, set of draws and 1 bedside table in the room I am vegan (but don’t care if I live with people who are not) I am clean, tidy, organised, friendly and quite (but not anti-social) I do graphic design,UI/UX design, web design, and front end development. Moving from Toowoomba to start studying at TAFE and QUT while working part time. I am pretty easy going, love my sport and outdoor recreation. Don't mind having a quiet drink with mates on the weekend and love being out and about.
I'm quite shy but once I get to know someone, I generally become fun and bubbly person to be around. I'm moving because of study and a new environment, I want to start fresh. I've only ever worked in Cafés and McDonalds. I'll be looking for retail jobs or waitressing/bar-work while I live in Brisbane. I'll be doing a bridging course at Mount Gravatt TAFE (Screen and Media) and will hopefully be attending QUT (Bachelor of Creative Industries) in 2018. Ideally looking for a place to stay longer than 6 months. During the days I'll either be studying, working or most likely keeping to myself. I'd love to live with someone I can get along with socially but I'm still rather independent and respect everyones privacy. But overall I'm really excited for the move and hope to find some like minded gal(s) to live with while I'm there. Looking to move in at any point in January as I'll be starting my study on the 30th of Jan. My budget is a maximum of $200 per week. I'm looking for a room or flat that is unfurnished as I have all of my own furniture for my own room and plan on bringing it all with me (Bed, drawers, bookcase, side tables, desk, etc.) Furnished share homes/apartments are cool, so long as the room I'll be shacking up in has space for all my stuff 😅
Hi there, My name is Amanda and i am looking to find people to sign a lease on a property with. I am looking at 2 or 3 bedroom places in most parts of inner Brisbane. I have a small dog called Indie too. She is a black and white Beagle x Cocker Spaniel that is super chilled and loves all people. I have all the furniture for the house including couch, tv, dining table, fridge, washing machine, outdoor furniture and all pots and pans and things so you would only need your bedroom stuffs to move in. I would need a place with a courtyard or outdoor yard for my dog so i would be looking at either townhouses or houses mostly. I would like the house to have 2 bathrooms and aircon is a must. I work full time as a Personal Assistant and do Yoga and Dance on a few of the week nights so this takes up most of my time during the week and i am only rarely in the house to eat, sleep, and a little bit of TV. On my weekends i like to get outside with the dog and friends and love my red wine and good eats. Not much of a party animal anymore. I don't smoke and don't do drugs. If this sounds like you please be in contact and we can chat about future living arrangements. Looking to move into a place end of December/early January 2017. Amanda
I'm going to be in my final year at uni next year and am studying Interior Design and Journalism so I'm not looking for a party house but I do hope to find housemates that are sociable and easy going. I'm open to a longer length of stay.
Hi my name is Javana, I'm 23 and I work in customer service and also study part time. I am friendly but respectable. I spend a couple (or more) nights with my boyfriend whether it be his or mine so I would prefer a place accepting of couples. I am a private person but I do know how to socialise and be friendly! I am very tidy as long as the house work is shared between everyone. If you think you can help me out please message me! But please make note of my move in date! Looking forward to hearing from you :)
