Great location in Essendon, where everything is at arms length. Essentially looking for someone to take over my name on the lease as I'm moving interstate. A relatively new property with a great location and easy accessibility to almost everything. Only a 10 - 15 minute train ride from the city as well as; . Friendly Grocer right across the road, along with Goofies Pizza (they even deliver if you're too lazy to walk over.) . 5 minute drive from Moonee Ponds central (and by extension K-mart). . Great lighting in the rooms as well as blinds that shut it out. . Own air conditioned room and own en suite. . High Speed, reliable internet. . Very open upstairs with plenty of light so it's always warm in the mornings. . Five minute walk away from the train station. . A Bottle-o right across the road emergency booze. . Permit Street Parking is available. Bills have never acceded over $250 a month ( Power, Internet and Gas) and Water is every 3 months (usually around $50). Rent is $233.50 a month and Bond is only $1000. Room is unfurnished but I am looking to sell my bed if you don't have one. We can talk details in person. Truly a great place to live and if I could take it with me I would.
The house is located in the blue chip area of Essendon. Less than a 6 minute walk to Essendon station (Craigieburn train line) & 59 tram on Mt Alexander Rd. Features: Room has a side cabinet and a built in robe On street parking $20 Uber to and from the city Walking distance to Buckley cafe & St Martha's café (the local) Moonee Ponds / Puckle St - 10 minute walk or 2 min drive Outside balcony, nice green garden & storage shed / laundry Central heating and cooling
Hello potential housemates. Myself (Sean) and Zoe (humans) and Luka (cat) have a spare bedroom in our 3 bedroom unit which we would like another human to live in. It is a medium sizes room and only a 5 - 10 minute walk to Essendon train station which takes about 20 minutes to get to the CBD. There is also a bus stop on the corner and the 59 tram near Essendon station. There are 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, separate laundry, kitchen, lounge room, and a balcony. Netflix is provided and unlimited internet is split as $20 each. Monthly rent is $525 with bills split 3 ways when they come in.
3 minute walk to Essendon Station and a few nice cafés. Available room comfortably fits a Queen bed and has a built-in mirrored wardrobe. The shared bathroom has a spa bath/shower with storage. Separate toilet. Separate laundry with a cosy balcony for bbq or drying (no dryer). The open living space has heating and cooling. Fully furnished and comfortable with TV, lounge and recliner, but can be reworked if you're a good stylist. The bright modern kitchen has space to multitask with gas cooking, dishwasher and loads of cupboard and bench space with bar stools. $240 includes Unlimited Internet, Netflix and bills except water. I'm here until June 2018 at least, so you may be able to take over the lease after that.
The Area : This property is on a main road but extremely quiet and private with additional storage in the garage and on and off-street parking. It is 7-10 minutes walk from Essendon Train station and trams. In both directions there are cafes, shops and supermarkets (all walking distance). There is a park with a market every Sunday, you'll often see galahs, rosellas and wattlebirds flying around. In general this is a lovely, convenient area, with the only downside being the occasional plane noise. The Home: The room is huge, incredibly spacious with a window into the back yard. It is furnished currently with a luxurious queen bed, wardrobe and a desk and bedside table will be in there soon. The bathroom is brand new and shared, it has a huge shower. No bath. The kitchen is fully equipped with high quality pots and pans, japanese knives and most cooking and baking utensils and equipment. It has all brand new stainless steel appliances and a digital electric cook-top. The lounge room is open with a huge slouch couch, memory foam bean bag, striking geometric artwork and plenty of cat furniture too! There is no television, instead the wall is the television, I have built my own media PC and use a projector. Surround speakers and a coffee table. There is a courtyard with a garden out the back which I am currently working on as I'd like to host some gatherings in the summer. There is a small landing out the front with a seat and full of plants. Washer, dryer, clothes horse and clothes line are all available. The home is littered with abstract and minimal artwork with the kitchen sporting some quirky but adorable food themed pictures. I have 2 cats, who are friendly and non-aggressive, they shed though and this home is not likely to suit someone with allergies. As it seems an unpopular option to include the bills in the rent - $290 including bills or $240 with bills split down the middle.
Set in a beautiful, peaceful street is our home. Fully renovated house with plenty of space and ladies, the wardrobe space is amazing! You'll be sharing with myself (Bec), a primary school teacher, and my friendly cavoodle dog Maggie. We welcome people with non-shedding dogs! House is fully furnished apart from your room with a backyard which is great in summer! New roomie must be clean and tidy. Our home is in a great location - a short walk to the train station and Puckle street. Moonee Ponds is the place to be - cafes, gyms, and a short walk to the Maribyrnong River walking track. Flemington, the Showgrounds a few minutes away and 15 mins into Melbourne Central. I have been here two years and love our house and the area. Room is available now. (No couples).
The TL;DR version: - large room with BIR, unfurnished but we can provide a single bed frame (no mattress) - 3 bedroom house otherwise furnished - 5 min walk to 59 tram, 15 min walk to Glenbervie or Essendon station - Coles and cafes nearby - sharing with 2 female housemates in their 30's, somewhat geeky and like board games - no pets (sorry:( we're gutted, too ) - separate toilet and bathroom - available Sept 4th onwards when we get the keys - 6 month lease (owners will potentially renovate after this period) You: - female aged 25+ - non smoker - reliable with rent and bills - looking for a home, not a party house
One of the girls is moving out to rent with personal friends and this is where we welcome another person to the house. Moving in cost is bond 392+480 1months rent. You will be going on the lease, which is currently month by month. We have an awesome real estate agent who is easy to communicate with. Room available from the 30/09/2017. We are looking for someone who is a heavy sleeper as there can be a bit of noise at night time. Not the best house if you are seeking a career in law, as we do like to have indulge in a bit of recreational Happy hours. You will share the main kitchen with four other people and the bathroom is shared by three people. The house is really big and yes there is 7 of us living under one roof. Rest assured you will get your space. The bedroom you will be be hibernating in is of a reasonable size. You can fit a double bed, drawer and a make shift wardrobe. Its one of the smallest rooms in the houses but it is very affordable. Parties - Sorry we dont do that. While we like to have the occassional drink and have friends over, its not a place for parties, more chill and drink space. Animals - cats are fine (must be desexed-treated fleas-housetrained) may consider other animals. No dogs, sorry i already tried with the landlord and gave me the thumbs down. Main lounge has a big tv that is used mainly for video games, odd occassion there will be a movie night. It has been a victim of Mario Karts lately. Back deck is slowly coming along with outdoor furniture, we do have a BBQ which was used recently, it is a great area for a small bunch of friends and family to visit.

Hi, I'm Rachel, and I'm a nurse/ strength athlete. I'm currently looking for a new nursing job, as I'd taken some time off because I've been competing in strength sports and training has been my main priority. I train most days of the week and compete in a few different sports. I enjoy powerlifting, strongman, weightlifting, crossfit and basically anything active. I also enjoy travelling as often as I can, it's good to get out of the city! I cook pretty healthy and organize food prep for the week. I love animals, and would love a place with a dog or the possibility to get a dog in the future. I'm a relaxed and easy going person with a chilled sense of humour. I've been living out of home for over 7 years now and am neat/tidy, and always clean up after myself. I don't drink very often as the majority of my friends are fitness oriented, but don't mind heading out for a few drinks every now and then. I'm also studying my cert 3 & 4 in fitness online, which keeps me pretty busy. Best way to get to know me is in person, so any questions feel free to ask!
I'm neat, tidy, considerate, incredibly easy to get along with, respectful, kind natured, mature and I love to talk but also make a great listener. I have a secure casual government job in Southbank with full time hours requiring me to be a people person so I'll be working a lot as well as socialising as much as possible. When I do have spare time, I’m usually out and about seeing my friends and if i’m home i’ll get buried in a tv series marathon, have a few friends over for some drinks, watch Netflix/movies and go out to the movies just to name a few. I'm extremely outgoing in general and love meeting new people, experiencing new things and living in the moment. MY ideal home/housemates would be somewhere I can have my own private space when i need some time out from people, my housemates are respectful of those that have an early start at work in the mornings and won't make too much noise and people who I can occasionally hang out with and watch movies/have a laugh with.
Studying Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology, so can help you with injuries or anything fitness! Graduating in June. Work a few different jobs in fitness, so I am pretty busy which means when I'm at home I'm usually relaxing, but don't get me wrong I love a big night out (just not as often anymore). I like to think I am tidy and respectful of other people and their belongings. My cooking goes alright so I'll cook for you if you cook for me!
Hi there. I am 33 year old girl looking for teaming up/sharing a house. I'd prefer inner subborbs, maybe closer to airport but not a condition as I have a car. I like to think i'm a fun and nice person. Love to have clean place, cooking, listening to music... Moving date asap . Contact me for more details. :)
Im easy going and down to earth, very open and honest and keep to myself. Very neat and tidy. I work part time doing domestic and industrial cleaning and just wanting to work and save money. Im very easy to talk to so if there was any concern u would be able to address it easily. I respect everybody's lifestyle and privacy. Just wanting a little place to call my own.
Hello, My name is Elise and i'm a 28yr old Vet Nurse student looking to take the plunge and move out of home towards the end of the year. Currently I am at TAFE one day a week. and work in Altona at least 2 days a week. Being a Vet nurse I am a passionate animal lover so I do have a small dog (Cavalier) named Brodie that i would really like to come with me so the place I am searching for would ideally need to be pet friendly. He is VERY chilled and gentle, and loves cuddles. I am also a keen cook and baker, and I am learning cake decorating on the side. I am very laid back and easy going, am up for sharing a meal and/or a drink, watching a movie or even going to a cafe/restaurant. I am looking for a place for around $160-200 p/week, the closer to Bell street or the Western ring road the better for access to my work in Altona.
Hi everyone, My name is Emma. I'm 28 years old and am looking for somewhere to live. I work as a Primary School teacher currently living in Essendon and have enjoyed living in this area so I would be looking for somewhere similar to where I am now, however am looking at other areas as well. It needs to be close to public transport however as I don't have a car. I am fairly quiet, consider myself to be considerate of others, look after where I live, so I have no problem cleaning up after myself. I'm fairly easy-going and hoping to find similar people to live with. I enjoy going to the movies, writing and catching up with friends. Looking forward to meeting with you and getting to know potential housemates. Many thanks, Emma
