You will share the main kitchen with four other people and the bathroom is shared by three people. The house is really big and yes there is 6 of us living under one roof. Rest assured you will get your space. The bedroom you will be be hibernating in is of a reasonable size. You can fit a double bed, drawer and a make shift wardrobe. Its one of the smallest rooms in the houses but it is very affordable. Parties - Sorry we dont do that. While we like to have the occassional drink and have friends over, its not a place for parties, more chill and drink space. Animals - cats are fine (must be desexed-treated fleas-housetrained) any other animal no.... You will get the use of kitchen, main lounge and dining area. We have a back and side deck which has been great in the summer days. Garden areas are beaut with rose bushes and fruit trees. Main lounge has a big tv that is used mainly for video games, odd occassion there will be a movie night. It has been a victim of Mario Karts lately. I have been tempted to get foxtel for the sports, since rugby and Volley ball is seasonal dont really see the value in foxtel. AFL is not a sport.... Back deck is slowly coming along with outdoor furniture, we do have a BBQ which was used recently, it is a great area for a small bunch of friends and family to visit. Main Kitchen has all its gadgets. Fridge belongs to one of the housemates but is huge!!!! If you have one we do have room under the house to store it.
We're in Aberfeldie (Essendon) about a 15 minute walk to the Essendon station, right near Aberfeldie Park and the Maribyrnong river. Located on a beautiful, quiet street, the house has two bedrooms inside with a bungalow in the back yard. The bungalow is large enough to fit a queen bed, tallboy etc and has its own bathroom, sink, fridge and appliances. The house is currently being leased through an agency so you will be required to apply as per the agency's requirements which will include employment and rental reference checkings and will need to supply all necessary documentation.
We are looking to move to melbourne late june, if that's too late let me know. We are 19 and 21 and are super friendly and easy going. Im working full time and Jordan is studying and will be working part time. We enjoy meeting new people and chilling playing xbox or boardgames or just having a chat. We also have a 3 month old kitten who is also very relaxed and loves to cuddle. Message me if you're interested 😊
Hi, My name is Rhiannon and I'm interested in the room you've advertised. Im a 20 year old student who was studying nursing but have since stopped due to it not being the course I am passionate about and I am currently trying to get into Acu next year to study paramed. Since my study has been put on hold, I have been trying to compensate with working so that I am doing something for the time being. I currently work as a swim instructor, pool lifeguard and at Mr.Burger. So my hours are crazy and are all over the place. I have a dog thats 7 months old who is a beautiful boy. He is a golden retriever cross border collie who is very loving but smart. He receives weekly dog training as i want him to be the best dog possible and get him out of puppy habits. I also get him walked three times a week (whilst im working) so he is engaged and doesn't become bored. He is an inside/outside dog but mainly just enjoys peoples company and pats. If i sound like the right fit for you. Please contact me
We are final year engineering students from India coming to the University of Melbourne for as a part of Study Abroad Program. We will be research interns there. We are fun, easy-going and like to keep our place neat and tidy. We love interacting with new people and making new friends. It is very important for me to get along with housemates. I am not looking to just share a place with strangers, but share a home with friends.
I love a good chat, good music and good food. Looking to make friends in a home not just share a space. I am also clean and tidy :)
Looking for somewhere closer to work as my commute is currently 4hours per day. I work in Parkville area so anywhere around there would be great. I work 12-13.5 hour shifts which makes me a pretty quiet house mate as I am either not home or a sleep. I'm clean and tidy, love to chat about anything and everything and really laid back. I very respectful of others privacy and of my environment I live in. Kiwi born Polynesian residing in Australia for six months so don't have a lot of luggage to bring with me so no hassle and no stress lol
I'm originally from Cape Town, South Africa. Moved to this side of the world last year after working as an entertainer on cruise ships all around the world. Now I'm studying 2 days a week and working the rest of the time as a barista, so good coffee will always abound wherever I go :) I'm extremely clean and respectful of other people's space and time. I'm pretty independent but don't mind sharing a few drinks and meals if my housemates are up for it.
My name is Ali, I'm 36 and a student. I'm currently obtaining my Diploma in Youth and Community Services. Although I'm not home most times, I do enjoy good company (I love to discuss any topic, controversial or otherwise), cooking and maintaining a light mood all around. Most of all, I take great pride in keeping my immediate living quarters clean and presentable. Here is my current situation: I am unhappy where I reside. Please don't get me wrong, the folks here are fantastic but it is incredibly expensive and it is isolated. I wish to be somewhere more centralised where public transport and amenities are more available, not to mention be closer to family and friends.
Hi there. I'm a 27 yr old landscaper working full time. Early starts so early nights during the week, usually in bed by 10.30. In my spare time i like to hang out with mates, cook, drink, go gym, eat and sleep. Im social but also love my alone time
Hi my name is Emily and I am 25 years old. I am currently in the process of relocating to Melbourne from the far south coast of NSW. I'm hoping this move will open up some great job opportunities as I have recently graduated from uni and am looking to kick start my teaching career. At the moment I'm staying with my boyfriends parents but I'm hoping to find a room to rent for a few months until I can get myself set up with work/living routine. I'm a pretty open and friendly person. Definitely up for socialising and making friends with new people but also completely respectful of the need for privacy/ down time. I'm neat, tidy and organised so no need to worry about mess - more than happy to help out around the house. Ideally I'd like to spend the next few months working, saving money, making friends and getting used to Melbourne life. I will be starting a full time teaching position on the 17th of July. Hoping to find somewhere to stay for the next 3 months only - planning to move out with my boyfriend after that.
Hi, My name is Oliver Muller, I am a pretty relaxed and social person, I have lived in many share houses before and always get along with housemates. I am considerate and tidy. I work full time, and will often be out on weekends.
Hi there! I am an outgoing bubbly person but at the same time quite and like my private time and respect everyone's space. I am very neat and tidy, so you will never see things lying around in the lounge room or kitchen! I clean up straight away. I work full time during the day and night I am either catching up for dinner with friends or seeing family or dancing. Majority of the time I am out always doing something. If I am not out I like to chuck on my cheap reality tv shows and snuggle up in bed! I am looking for a female flat mate who is friendly, easy going and knows how to clean up after themselves. Someone with similar attributes :)
I am clean and I love to cook (Mostly Italian but I can make a good curry and Karra-age too), I always pay my rent and bills on time. Pretty ok with doing my share of housework. I love music and going out for some drinks and a bit of dancing. I am experienced living with people so I can both socialise and give space when you want it. I am trying to get into uni to study engineering, perusing my interest in technology. Looking for a large unfurnished bedroom, preferably with built in wardrobe.
