Hey! I am a 26 year old Primary School teacher. I am clean and tidy and get my bills paid on time. I enjoy a glass of red wine or two, watching indie films, film photography, live music, bike riding adventures and hanging out with my pals. I do like having a boogie to 90s hits or bangers aswell. I really enjoy going to the market every weekend and love to cook. Sounds like a bit of a strange dating application I know.
I'm a professional speech pathologist who loves a healthy and energetic lifestyle. I'm a pescatarian who loves a good glass of bubbles. I'm a very neat and tidy housemate who loves to keep the bathroom and kitchen clean. Staying in and playing board games or watching scary movies is a hobby!
I'm honest, hard working and enjoy spending time with friends. I am an Apprentice & have just taken up a new hobby - photography. Having fun learning how to improve my skills. Enjoyed Muay Thai last year but unfortunately it's on hold till I find suitable accommodation.
I'm a happy-go-lucky 26 year old professional. During the week I work full-time as a user experience designer in the CBD. When I'm not at work I enjoy kicking back at home with some music, TV, or a good book. I enjoy socialising on weekends, but tend to keep things relatively low-key throughout the week. I appreciate having a private space and some alone time, but I'm rarely opposed to spending time with housemates over a glass of wine and/or a meal.
Currently from Newport and looking for fun, easy-going people of a similar age with similar interests. I recently finished studying psychology but working full-time in bookkeeping and tiling! Love going out for a drink and being social. I am respectful, clean, and will be reliable with payments:) I don't currently own any pets but love dogs!
Hi everyone! I am a 24 year old Kiwi who has been living in Melbourne for 6 months, and Australia for just over a year. I am a clean and tidy person I always make an effort to clean up after myself as soon as I can, especially in communal areas. I always make sure to do my share of the housework, you may even say I can be a bit of a clean freak sometimes. I am also an open and bubbly person who enjoys living in places that are somewhat social, but I am not looking for anywhere that holds a lot of parties. I am looking for somewhere to live preferably by the 27/04/17 and I can move in around anytime after that. I am currently working full time but I am hoping to find somewhere relatively cheap and that would preferably be a somewhat furnished room as I don't have any of my own furniture. I also don't mind doing shared cooking, but I am also happy to keep this separate as well. Please feel free to message me and ask any further questions you may have. Thanks heaps, Rose
I'm 18, working part time and looking to move into Footscray for the remainder of the year. I'm laid back, easy to talk to and get along with, but also respect quiet time. can keep a house clean and tidy and most importantly, respect good music. I have a 2 year old Bordercollie with a beautiful personality who is quiet, clean and very well toilet trained also looking to move in with me. I play a bit of guitar and enjoy any in depth discussion on something worth discussing. pick me.
Hi everyone, My partner and I are both respectful, responsible 19 year olds that are mature for our age. We are both currently unemployed but can both assure we can pay for rent and bills and are actively looking for work. Despite our age we are very quiet and would prefer a night in on the couch than going out every weekend so there is no need to worry about us coming in late every weekend. Thank you for your time and we are forward to hearing back from anyone with an offer.
I'll explain if asked :).
I'm a very friendly and outgoing person, who respects others and the space I'm in. I am a musician, and I also study video game design at Swinburne. I work casually at Arts Centre Melbourne and at a recording studio in Richmond. I've been in Melbourne for 5 years, but have lived all over Australia and travelled overseas a few times. I spend most of my time studying, and my down time playing games, playing music (singing and piano), and socialising with my friends and my boyfriend.
25 yo. Recently graduated in electrical and electronic from Swinburne Uni. Continuing my part time job in the catering business until I find a professional engineering career that suits me. Paying rent on time isn't an issue. With my lease at UniLodge over, I'm willing to relocate. I like to think of myself as an ordinary INFJ wanting to realize great dreams. Currently educating myself on the realm of entrepreneurship and hoping to have my own start up one day. While I appreciate privacy, I also feel housemates are a 'family', away from family. In my last 4 or so years of living in shared accommodations, I've made sincere friendships which I truly value. I lead a alcohol/smoke/drug free life. Plus, I find animals adorable so if there's a pet at home, it'll find a good company. And oh, I don't leave my dishes go stray. : ) I have a thing for modern aptmnts/units and I'm not much fussy about the suburb tbh. Happy for anything in between 30km radius from Melbourne I guess. Happy to team up and start a house. Cheers!
Heyy currently I'm living in Greensborough with my parents and Im a student at Vic Uni and currently looking for accommodation closer to campus, as driving 1 and 1/2 hrs a day for work and uni is hard. I'm working twice to three times a week and irregular weekends at a sport centre in Thomastown and starting in bakers delight in Yarravillie in the coming weeks. I'm easy going and social, but will respect privacy and personal space! love my AFL and Volleyball, going for walks and enjoying a good drink after a week of school and work, friends are important to me as I like to keep social. I don't see the point of laying in bed all day and night. I'm at uni 4 days a week and start early and finish in the afternoon with 2-4 hr breaks between each class so coming home in my breaks would be nice. Thanks Jess :)
Hi my names Rob I'm a supervisor at a transport company in western suburbs. I am from Ballarat but just got a transfer to Melbourne. My work life is very busy but I'm also passionate about fitness and go to the gym most nights. Play a little bit of sport and besides that I love going on adventures and out for coffee and having a few drinks on the weekend. Friendly guy and get along with most people
Hey, my name's Matt, I'm 23 years old and currently working full time in E- commerce for a clothing and footwear company (yes, that means I have the added bonus of cheap clothing and shoes hookups). I love catching up with friends, drinking too much coffee, eating too much food and doing audio production work. I'm all for having a few beers and a boogie, but also love quiet nights in. I spend a large part of my weekends Djing in restaurants, beer gardens and lane-ways, mostly playing lounge and funk music. I'm currently living in brunswick west and completely in love with the north side of the city, however, open to other suburbs if the right fit comes along. I've lived in share-houses for the past 5 years and love living in a clean homely place. Would love to move in with people that will turn into good mates, with necessary banter. I'm always willing to do my fair share, can 100% guarantee that I will always pay the bills on time and know how to be respectful of peoples personal space. I can provide assorted household goods if anyone needs anything. Looking to move as soon as possible. I'd love a chance to meet or grab a coffee. Feel free to shoot me a message with any questions :)
Hello, I am looking for a place as a transition point into Melbourne. I have recently applied for mid-year University entrance and I am waiting for an acceptance letter from them. I am a quiet, clean person with a tendency to keep to myself. I enjoy reading, visiting the city and spending time on my computer. I have a cat that I would like to bring with me, however if that is a problem I can leave her behind.
I can sit here and write an unrealistic version of myself that everyone wants to have live with them but honestly I'm a full time worker who's always moody and full time gamer who doesn't leave her computer. I'm only being honest because I'm looking for someone much like me, hermit-like, gaming enthusiast, full time worker and can cook a mean lasagne. I'm really laid back, easy to talk to, 5'3 so you have to come grocery shopping with me to reach the stuff on the higher shelves, pasta and pizza obsessed and a little too awkward to be out in public. However being a nerd does usually mean you live on McDonald's, Doritos, pizza and a Coke but I'm very clean and hygienic and eat relatively healthy. Feel free to message me for a chat and get to know me before you judge too harshly, I'm sweet I promise and I need friends in real life :~)
Hi! i'm looking for place to with 1-2 awesome roomies in either yarraville or seddon, (no more than 8mins walk to a station), preferably a house, (not a tiny bedroom) with a little garden to call home. I'm easy going, mature, quiet (most of the time), open minded, and independent. Currently working part time, and have my own small business. I'm interested and love (parts of) spirituality, assisting others, meditation, and caring for the environment. I'm pretty much a junk food vegan but wont judge your food choices. Love to travel and will try to take short adventures any chance I get (if my work and bank account will allow). Love a good meme! Enjoy creating heartfelt connections with others and deep chats and conversations about the world we live in. Also I do enjoy a bit of crap tv including reality (oh gosh) and more! Happy to be a part of the house family but also enjoy my solitude and quietness, looking for others who do and feel the same. Love to cook so more than happy to have chats and joint meals time to time. Big fan of cleanliness in shared spaces and respect and understanding of others! Don't mind a place with animal roomates as used to dogs and cats (am more of a dog person though). So that's a little bit about me! Looking to move in late April/May, preference is for the right place and people than date. Please contact me to see if we'd make a nice fit. Ta, Lillian :)
Introduction: Hello! My name is Jo! I'm in my mid 20's located in Melbourne and looking for a place to call home with some likeminded housemate family! I love meeting new people, drinking tea, everything music, reading books, movies, nature, self-development and appreciate wellbeing activities like yoga and dance. I am tidy, easy-going, fun and warm natured! I run my own small business, teach music and actively studying and learning new things. I also work remotely supporting others in their businesses. If you are eager for change in 2017 please continue reading! Mission: I am a creative, remote freelancer and budding entrepreneur, keen to surround myself with others that possess similar values! Personal development is a big focus for me this year. The mission is to join or create a share house with more like minds and a co-working office space in the house – big or small. This will help contribute to a proactive approach to living – an idea that dawned on me after a leadership workshop I attended this year. In the words of Tony Robbins: “You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.” The Place (House and Housemates): Who out there is building a dream alongside their job or wants to commit to making this a reality this year? Who out there is keen for a light, fun yet driven and supportive home? What's your vision? Let’s team up and support each other! Affordable housing is a priority at this stage but this is about the vibe and how we keep the space! I am flexible with dates and length of stay. Keen to meet and connect with more people who want this in their lives for 2017. Who wants to create a collective support network (aka share house) where you can wake up in the morning ready to go with motivation and support? Let's Connect! If this speaks to you or you are in search of a roommate and/or new household dynamic - Let's connect and have a chat! If you already have a space in your home, happy to meet with you and discuss!
Greetings, I'm a student perusing Masters of IT from Charles Sturt University with a full-time job,( mostly evening/night shifts). My interests include reading, music, watching documentaries and indulging in healthy conversations. I'm a responsible individual punctual with rent and always there to lend a helping hand. A good part of my time is spent on traveling to Work/University, need to cut down the traveling time so I’m in search of a private room in a shared accommodation which has access to public transport, (Bus, Tram, Metro Station) and is at a respectable distance from the City, (Traveling time – Half an hour to one hour.). Feel free to message me. Thanks.
im Brian, I'm a mid 30's youth worker and studying counselling and community services, into cooking, swimming, natural medicine, being social. I also have a car and would need somewhere to park it. I'm clean considerate and tidy. No drugs, smoke free, non drinker. I would be interested in house trained people who are clean and tidy, ok with alone quiet time, mature minded, non smoking house, with no drugs or binge drinking. I prefer to make my own food, I'm a fussy eater. I have all of my own bedroom furniture. JJ is a 12 years old black cat, he doesn't scratch furnishings, he has a few scratching posts. He is more of a dog personality as he loves interacting and being friendly. He has toys an is very playful. I'm very flexible, clean and tidy with him. 6 month preferred length of stay possible to stay longer. Let me know if your interested. Cheers, Brian
Hi there, I'm pretty open to options at the moment that are either: - Furnished in the short term - Or open to staying 6 months or so in a furnished /unfurnished Hoping to find a nice housemate or housemates who are interested in spending some time together either eating or watching tv every now and again. I'm vegetarian, aspiring vegan, but won't bug you about your own food choices. And if you have pets that's cool, I love animals(: I'm friendly, respect shared areas and considerate of other housemates. I've been in 3 share houses in the last 5 years so I know how this all works. Hoping to find a friendly housemate who is considerate and doesn't need a surrogate parent in a sharehouse. Currently working in media at a lovely agency in South Yarra so keen to find a place nearby(although anywhere is closer than my current commute) to unwind after a fast paced full day at the office. Being introverted in such a social workplace means I'm exhausted so no not after a party house. I spend my free time at the gym, catching up with friends for a bite, love going for long walks, and live gigs/concerts as well as the footy. But when I'm home I'm pretty much straight into my pjs.
