The privacy is excellent here. The block sits on 5 acres so there's lots of room for walks and solitude. The canara/ fireplace is lovely in the evening. There are heaps of birds and an abundance of Australian flora and fauna to enjoy. All 6 km from Daylesford town centre! And moments to all Spa country has to offer~
Hi, my name is Chris Jardine. I'm a 43 year old, expat Canadian that has lived in the Woodend area for 8 years now, Australia for 15. I run a local dog walking and pet sitting business called The Woodend Woof Walker (Don't worry, I don't babysit animals in my own home!). I have a lot of fun in my day to day life, running around and playing with dogs all day, while working outside in this beautiful area of the world. I love yoga, am an avid cook and also play ice hockey in the city, whenever I get a chance. At home, I am respectful of space, but also, not a hermit. I read a lot, watch TV occassionally and am in the process of teaching myself how to draw. It's an arduous process! I also have a lot of plants. Like, a lot. Take the person you know with a lot of plants and double it. Not to worry, I take care of all of them myself, but I hope that I'll have some space for them in my new place. I also have a small dog named Lenny. He's a 12 year old mini fox terrier, and spends a lot of time with me. He leaves with me in the mornings and I bring him home at night. I warn you, he charmed me when he was about 8 weeks old and has been charming people ever since. Consider yourself warned! He's no fuss at all, unless you are susceptible to the soft, charming eyes of a cute little dog, in which case, beware. I hope to hear from you soon! chris and lenny

Ours is a very large, two storey house on a sizeable farm with cattle and horses. It is rural and quiet with many trees including a small orchard near the house. Bird life is plentiful and varied and we have a resident pea hen. Unfortunately, no pets can be brought onto the property. We are located 10 mins from Gisborne; 15 mins to Bacchus Marsh; 20 mins to Riddells Creek and Woodend; 35 mins to Kyneton; and, 40 mins to Melbourne Airport. Each floor has a large shared kitchen (the downstairs will be completed by early November). Kitchen utensils and cookware are available for your use. There is a communal laundry on the top floor. Each floor also has its own beautiful shared lounge room with bay windows overlooking the farm and the Macedon Ranges. Both lounges include a wood fire and formal dining room. A separate TV room adjoins the top floor kitchen. There is plenty of space for barbecues and outside living. All bills and internet access are included in the rent. We have several rooms available over the two floors. Currently Rooms 2 and 3 are occupied. The first bedroom is large with a dressing room with ample storage space. It can easily fit a kingsize bed, desk and comfortable sofas or chairs. The picture windows look out over the Macedon Ranges. The private bathroom is large and includes a bath. It is suitable for couples. The cost is $250 for a single and $300 for a couple, per week. The second bedroom is also large with a BIW. It can fit a kingsize bed, a desk and one or two comfortable chairs. The bay window looks out onto the Macedon Ranges. The available bathroom is large and shared with one other flatmate. It is suitable for couples. The cost is $200 for a single and $250 for a couple per week. Currently taken. The third bedroom is smaller, with a BIW. It is suitable for a king single, or possibly a double. A small desk and chair will fit into it. The available bathroom is large and shared with one, perhaps two flatmates. The cost is $160 per week. Currently taken. The fourth and fifth bedrooms are downstairs and can be suitable for couples as well as individuals. They each have a BIW. We are in the process of building a new kitchen and another full bathroom downstairs. At the moment there is a shower and toilet available. Whilst the renovations are being completed (by the end of November) the rent is $160 per room for a single person and $210 per room for a couple. When the new rooms are fully functional the rent will raise to $180 per room for a single and $230 per room for a couple, per week. There is plenty of off street parking, but not undercover and included in the rent. Some limited garaged car space is available at an extra cost. The access road is sealed and the winding driveway has a gravel surface. Entry is by a security gate. My partner and I will continue to live on the property. We will be pleased to be your neighbours, and I will be actively working the farm.

I have a room for rent in two bedroom, one and a half bath town house in Brown Hill. Right opposite the brown hill reserve, close to shops, public transport, pub, and petrol station. This town house has central heating, has a study area which is not being used and comes with a small back yard.
We are both very friendly and easy going, we spend most our time in the great outdoors, either working at a Plant nursery part time, growing our own veggie garden at home or going for a picnic at a local park. We are non judgememtal, love meeting new people and always out and about but we mainly enjoy our time alone most nights spent in, watching netflix, cooking great food or doing something crafty. We look forward to making a house a home with some like minded people. 😄

Just a great place to live I also have the occasional Airbnb client through that’s the only time you would have to share the bathroom. Private off street parking available also.
Hello! We are searching for someone to share our 3 bedroom house. This house is located in a great area, 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk into town and the train station. We are also is surrounded by great walking tracks! It is an older house that has been renovated, so is modern inside. It is a small homey house, with great natural sunlight, on a quiet street. It has a big backyard, a split system heater/ cooler in the living room and unlimited internet which will only be $20 extra per month.
I'm easy going, clean and tidy. I love having a chat, a shared meal and some netflix, but also perfectly happy doing my own thing. I work full time in Health, and often spend weekends in Melbourne or Bendigo. :)
