I am vision impaired but am independant and people I live with would not be expected to take on role as a carer or provide any assistance. I am looking at getting a Guide Dog, but it maybe more than 12 months before I am successfully match with a suitable Guide Dog as many aspects are taken into consideration including the owners living environment. I like animals but do not have any of my own at the point in time. I ticked I have pets as I would like to find a place that is pet friendly so if other people I will be sharing with are in agreement I can get a cat. I love to socialise but am not a party animal and do not drink. Until I get to know a person I can be a bit quite at first. I am vision impaired and do have Epilepsy but am very independent. Epilepsy is well controlled by medication and on the odd occasion I do have a seizure I tend to self manage as most of the time they are at night. I do all my own cooking, washing. Due to back injury, Epilepsy, Vision Impairment, I have someone that comes in for 2 hours a week to assist where needed with cleaning eg mopping & vacuuming. As stated earlier people I am sharing with would not be expected to be my carer or provide me with any assistance needed in anyway. I pay someone to provide me with any extra support I need.
