Hey there! I'm a guy originally from Perth looking at a move this June/July to Canberra for a work promotion. I work in the IT space for an APS agency as a "scrum master", and as boring as it sounds, my work-days are either preparing for meetings, "putting out fires", enabling others to do their best work, or planning for more meetings - but I'm loving it!
Outside of work I'm a pretty quiet person - love to just chill out, keep the house tidy, do what I can at the gym or cycling in order to keep fit, enjoy cooking, and travel whenever I get the opportunity.
While open to new locations to call home in Canberra, I'm guessing Kingston would make the ideal home, as I love to start my day with a waterside stroll and coffee. Open to other available areas for the right price and facilities - looking ideally for a larger room, own bathroom, plenty of kitchen space, and an openness to actually share the house - not just rent a room.
I returned to Perth late last year after 7 years living and working in Sydney, where I also stayed in a shared house situation with a few different housemates over the years. I found was really enjoyed the company and getting to know different people - people I now call my friends, not just housemates!
My ideal housemate is also tidy and respectful of shared spaces, responsible, friendly and welcoming, and enjoys good banter at the end of the day. If you think we could be similarly aligned, reach out and we can chat about a either a team up or spare room you have available!
