The house is a new, light and bright 3br, 2 bathroom house. On offer is an unfurnished bedroom, main bathroom all to yourself and I have converted the third bedroom into a study/lounge area so that there are 2 separate living areas. Ducted heating/air conditioning, all new appliances in kitchen and laundry. Internet included in rent. The bedroom has a built in robe with mirrored doors and other storage is available. The house is a 1min walk from the new shopping centre opening in May 2018 which hosts a supermarket, gym, cafe/bakery, gastro pub, butcher, retail and allied health precinct. Whilst a short walk it's tucked away from the main streets surrounding shopping centre. Club Googong has a swimming pool, small gym and cafe already open. Googong is a new township, 7-8 mins drive behind Queanbeyan. 25-30mins from Manuka, Woden and Tuggeranong. It has a nice safe community feel and friendly vibe.
I'm easy, no stress, pretty chill I've got a PS4 and I'm usually down to watch a movie but also don't care if I'm not really talked to. I have a cat named Berlioz, he's super fluffy and loves people and cuddles so thats pretty good; we are a package deal though. Right now I'm working two jobs so probably wouldn't be home all the time but I'm pretty clean but not crazy about mess.
Hi there! We're looking to start a share house are keen to move out ASAP! We are looking for 1 other person to join us and are happy to join an existing house or start a new one! Here are a few things about us: - We are friends and have known each other for over 10 years, we are both 22. - Emma works as a teacher's aid and in admin part time while studying her teaching degree. She loves a night in with a good book, a tub of cookies and cream icecream and cuddles from her pup. - Luke works at Deloitte full time and spends most of his free time playing games, watching sport, bushwalking and bike riding. - We are clean, friendly and easy going. - We are both considerate and respectful of other people's privacy. - Our budget is $200/week each. - Our preferred location is in Queanbeyan or Jerrabomberra but we happy to move into Canberra as long as the house is within 20 minutes of the airport. You should also know that Emma also has a 5-month-old pup named Spencer who will be joining us. He loves all the cuddles and pats you can spare. Also joining us is her rabbit named Stewie, a fluffy bunny full of attitude. So with this in mind we're looking for a pet friendly house. If you are interested then let us know by flicking us a message!
Hi, I’m a student from Malaysia looking for a place to stay in Canberra for one month. I’m tidy and easy-going and I also respect your personal space. I go to the gym but also enjoy reading at home or chilling with friends over a cup of coffee or beer.
Hey all, I'm pretty much a "what you see is what you get" kinda guy, polite and friendly by nature, I'm also clean tidy and respectful. I love travelling and the outdoors, meeting new people and having great conversations. Having said that, I also understand and respect the need for privacy and expect the same of others. I've moved to Canberra for a career change and now that I'm settled in my new role I'm looking for a nice and convenient place to live. I'm a Frenchman in my early 30s and have been in Australia for about 6 years now, but in Canberra just a few months. In my spare time I like reading, exercising, watching Netflix or playing video games, listening to music or just generally socializing with friends and meeting new people. I also love skiing and the mountains (especially in Europe and Japan), I speak fluent French and English and a little bit of Spanish (and a few words in Japanese) and I'm always up for practicing. That's really all I care to say as I'm that type of person you'll "get" by meeting in person rather than just reading about me preaching about myself. Happy to answer any questions though. All the best! Nic
I am a fulltime admin worker, and can keep to myself when needed but I do love to have a laugh and be social as well! Clean and tidy person, also don’t mind cooking and having a drink. Happy to live with any animals! Love them all. Please message me if you have anymore questions.

I'm a responsible, easy going Engineer and really I'm just hoping my future housemates don't leave all of the housework to me. I'm single, come with the most adorable little rag-doll cat you'll ever see and I mostly spend my spare time relaxing with Netflix, movies and games. Hey :) One bedroom available in a 3 bedroom house, double story in Queanbeyan. Closest Shopping centre is Riverside Plaza, a bus line runs right out the front and only a 15 minute drive to the city. Internet access will be available of course. There is a large living area, modern kitchen and small backyard. The room will be unfurnished and ready to accept bedroom furniture. Any questions please don't hesitate to contact me! :D
Fairly central (15min drive to the city). Close to Queanbeyan township. Plenty of parking. I have a BBQ, and main living areas have reverse cycle air conditioning. Parking also available just outside the house and I have 2 rooms available. This means initially the bathroom won’t be shared, until I chose to get a second person in. Bills are included in the rent- Gas, Electricity and Cleaner. That’s right, once per week, I have a cleaner do the main bigger cleaning jobs- vaccuuming, mopping tiles, cleaning bathrooms/toilets and dusting. This means I basically just have to clean up as I cook in the kitchen and everything else takes care of itself 👌🏽 Perfect for the busy professional who doesn’t have time or energy to spend hours cleaning per week. Applicant must be a dog lover, as I own the worlds best and most gentle dog, who you are free to pat at anytime 🤓

Commuters ONLY. Meaning, people who travel to their homes on weekends. This is not set up for full time living, so please do not apply if you want 7 day - week accommodation. Spacious area, quiet, private light and airy. Own private entry and driveway. 1 of 2 large rooms. The second room is taken by another professional tenant who also commutes. The place is fully provisioned and all bills are included. No lease. Private back deck off kitchenette with great sunset view. Private access. -One large room available with king bed and built in robe. Plenty of storage. -kitchenette with full size fridge and all in one microwave/convection/grill oven and all kitchenware provided. -Very large and bathroom divided into 3 separated rooms - separate toilet, vanity and shower/bath rooms. -Furnished with reasonable furniture, very large outdoor deck area with superb sunset views - great for a quiet drink after work. Loads of bird life and frogs in the pond. -Also included is electricity, unlimited internet (NBN fastest speed available at tier 5). Ducted Evaporative cooling and radiant heat panels with individually controlled time and temperature in each room. -Shopping centre, bus are all within a close walk and off-street secure parking is available. -Bushland (reserve) with walking track is across the street and also surrounds the back and one side of the house. The area is being lightly renovated (slowly!), so the floor is not attractive and the area needs some aesthetic work, but it is functional and comfortable. If you don't care about looks and more concerned with comfort, functionality and price, the rooms are ideal. -20 mins to city and tuggeranong, 15 mins to woden/fyshwick, 5 minutes to hume, symonston, narrabundah and queanbeyan. -We are a quiet, private couple in our late 40's and early 50's with one quiet child, a cat and some chooks. We live in a separate area of the house. You don't see or hear us and vice-versa, as the rented area is enclosed off from the main house. So matches more like a 2 bed, kitchenette, deck and 1.5 bathrooms granny flat minus living area .
I'm easy going, friendly, very tidy and conscious of others. I am a responsible person that will be able to fit in to anywhere I go.
I am very low maintenance and easy going. Happy to have a chat and share a meal or a drink but understand boundaries and personal space and everyone's need for these. I'm happy to chip in with jobs and help out around the place and always clean up after myself. I'm a positive, happy (without being over the top) person to be around.
We are a young couple from Newcastle and we are moving to Canberra for work at very short notice. We urgently require short-term accommodation until we can get settled in and find our own place. We would like to move in preferably no later than the beginning of June. Our preferred length of stay is around 2-3 months but we can be flexible with this. Elliott (22 y.o.) - Public servant and Clark Kent look-alike; currently working as a research assistant and finishing the last semester of a commerce degree via distance. Michelle (27 y.o.) - Recently completed a B.A. in politics and international relations; moving to Canberra to work and study at ANU. • We are mature, respectful, and clean up after ourselves. • We're sociable and easy to get along with, but we also appreciate having our own space. • We'll be working full-time hours Monday-Friday and studying during nights/weekends, so we're looking for housemates who are quiet and considerate, especially during the evening. (We don't mind sharing with other students as long as it's not a noisy 'party house' type environment). • We're not adverse to hanging out occasionally — it would be nice to know some locals who can show us around the city and recommend things to see/do in Canberra :) • Hoping to find a room that's already furnished because we'll need time to acquire our own furniture. A queen bed would be ideal because all of our sheets, quilts etc. are queen size (and Elliott is probably too tall to sleep on anything smaller). • We'll need parking space (Elliott has a car and I plan to bring mine down from Newcastle in the near future, too). • I'll be relying on public transport for at least a few weeks, so accommodation located reasonably close to public transport is a must. • We would prefer to have our own bathroom/ensuite (if possible) but we're not in a position to be too fussy. • Decent internet/Wi-Fi and heating/cooling is essential.
