Located at the base of Castle Hill with the Strand, shops and restaurants just down the road this flat is in a fantastic location. Both the CBD and The Strand are walking distance, perfect for work, exercise or heading out in your spare time. Queens Gardens is just across the road and is a great spot to relax, have a picnic on the weekend or attend one of the outdoor events held there without having to find a carpark! The apartment itself is in a spacious and well maintained complex that includes a pool and spa and plenty of parking. It already has all the essentials including air-conditioning and ceiling fans, a kitchen filled with appliances and utensils, washer, dryer, sofa bed lounge for guests and tiled floors throughout the living areas which make for very little maintenance. The room is the main bedroom located at the front of the apartment with its own balcony access to look out upon Castle Hill and watch the sunset of an evening. Hi guys! I have just moved over to Australia by myself from the UK on a permanent residency. I'm an occupational therapist. I am looking to be based fairly central eg West End, North Ward, Belgian Gardens. I originally came out to Australia in 2008 on a WHV and fell in love with the country so vowed to get back here one day- and I made it- yay me! I'm well travelled having spent approx 5 years working and living in NZ, Aus, SE Asia, Canada and Central America. I love keeping fit- it's very important to me. I go to the gym regularly, prefer to cycle most places rather than drive and practice ashtanga yoga. I'm very excited that there is an ashtanga studio in Townsville as its been hard to find one out of major cities in Australia! I lovveeee my food so totally keen on being shown some fine eateries in the area. Jen pro's :I'm fully house trained, clean, quiet, respectful and super approachable. I'm pretty hilarious if I do say so myself so that'll be fun for you, I am generally up for anything so any activities you've been meaning to do but no one to go with- I'm there, I'll introduce you to some awesome English music, I make really good overnight oats and healthy muffins which I might share. I am moving back to Townsville in December after 3 years in Brisbane. Prior to that, I rented out the rooms in my home to between 3 and 5 International Uni Students for 8 years from 2007 to 2015. I lived with them also and it was the most amazing experience. I am looking for accomodation in North Ward, Annandale or Douglas. I work full time in Aged Care and in the Disability Sector. I am an artist, quite, non smoker, am into fitness and swimming.
