Hi mates, I'm moving from Sydney to start a graduate role with Department of Agriculture and Water Resources. - I'm laid back, clean, respectful and enjoy good balance of socialising and alone time. - Hobbies: Soccer, hiking, gaming, some TV shows/anime, hanging out with friends and riding my motor bike. -More than happy to contribute with furniture or whatever the house needs to make it more enjoyable for everyone. Looking for: -Beautiful new home with some cool cats (allergic to actual cats). Ideally want to be in the house before 8th Feb, but am flexible with move-in dates. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
I'm moving to Canberra to work full-time. I’m very sociable and I love food, wine, sport and going out with friends but I also enjoy my downtime with a cup of tea and Netflix. I'm tidy, respectful and always pay rent on time.
Im a mature very clean quiet respectful tidy male who works for the government. Have worked in kitchens for many years previous so hygiene and good food are important to me. Like to look after myself but love a good wine with a meal.
I am a enthusiastic person who loves to socialize with new people. Nevertheless, I also understand personal space, and will not impose. I am a student of international relations and diplomacy and as such am interested in politics, human rights issues, etc. Before I started this Master I completed my Masters in History as well. So if you like to talk about medieval times, that is absolutely fine by me. Don't worry, I am capable of talking about other things as well. I am staying in Australia for 3 months to conduct an internship at the Belgian Embassy and hope to make some new friends while doing so. Greetings ;) Ine
We are both ANU medical students with busy lives, who have been housemates for two years. We are respectful, quiet, communicative and great at sharing duties around the house. We'll stay out of your hair, but love the occasional housemate dinner. We have lots of experience living with people from all walks of life, and get along well with just about anyone. When we're not studying, Will likes acting and Phoebe enjoys a round of golf.
I am moving to Canberra in late January to begin a graduate role in the APS. I am clean and tidy and am willing to help around the house. In my spare time I enjoy reading or playing sport, particularly cricket and field hockey, but enjoy most sports. I am considerate and I think easy to get along with and am hoping to meet people in Canberra. Let me know if I would be a good fit for your place.
Moving to Canberra for an APS job at the end of January. Clean and tidy non-smoker. Respectful, considerate and sociable but also happy to give you your own space. I'd ideally like to live close to Civic and with flatmates around my own age (late 20s to early 40s). I'm really going to miss my beloved family Labrador, so if you happen to have a dog, bonus.
We are a fun couple who are looking for roommates who would enjoy an evening conversation over a bottle of wine. We are polite individuals who respect the privacy of others and appreciate our own down time. We are both full time students in permanent part-time employment, making us very busy during the working week. Our interests include cooking, playing pool, sports, watching movies, music and reading. If we sound like a good fit, we look forward to hearing from you.
I'm Kahlia, a 24 year old public servant who's been in Canberra since the beginning of 2017. Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym and also paddle for a dragonboat club, otherwise I watch Netflix and am trying to commit to reading more non-work related (i.e. fiction) books. I'm fairly quiet and respect other people's space, but I'd like to get to know my housemates and am definitely keen for an occasional glass of wine or shared meal. I have a fridge, couch, dining table and clothes dryer if any of those sound like a bonus. Would prefer somewhere with secure or at least off-street parking, but happy to negotiate if the place is otherwise what I'm looking for.
Hi, I am a 2018 Grad and am moving down from Sydney. I am happy to share with guys or girls and am easygoing. I wouldn’t mind sharing a meal and a few drinks on the weekend but I also know how to respect personal space. I enjoy being in the outdoors. Happy to move in a week before the 5/2 or around one week after.
My name is Jemma Davison, I am a 22 year old single mother to a newborn baby boy. Currently studying and staying with my sister. I am in desperate need of my own space and wanting accomodation asap. I am a reliable tenant, clean and quiet. I am a very family oriented person but other than that keep to myself. I am extremely interested in the property and would love to know when I am able to view it.
I have just moved down to Canberra as a Production Coordinator and looking for a place to call home. (Originally from Brisbane) I am easy going and a reasonable cook. Originally an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer but now working in the office, so fairly handy if anything needs fixing. I am fairly active and will be at the snow most weekends during winter. Keen to go to gym/cycle most days hopefully potential housemates are similar. I appreciate clean kitchen and tidy living space but not too much else bothers me. Keen for dinner/drinks on the odd occasion and a very laid back guy.
I'm an easy going tradie. Early riser to take my female Husky for morning walks. Outdoorsy kinda guy with a 4x4 Ute and a dirt bike. I can cook alright, keep to myself mostly, but like a good social drink and or a chat. Keep a clean room, but can put up with a bit for clutter. Love to try learn new things, and will also be getting back in to the gym once settled. Looking for a place for a minimum of 6 months for my pup and I.
Hi, I'm Cameron. I'm working full time as an electronics engineer and moving for work starting on the 12th of February in Canberra's West, and looking for somewhere to call home. I'm currently living in a sharehouse and you will find me to be friendly, respectful, and easy to get along with. I'll keep the place reasonably tidy and pitch in for chores. I like enough of my own space, and respect that you probably do to, but otherwise tend to be up for a chat, even over a few drinks or a shared meals from time to time. I enjoy nerdy stuff like books and board games, but I also want to get out and explore our illustrious capital. So what am I after? I'd like to be within 20 minutes drive of work, 30 max (and obviously somewhere to park my car). Bonus points if I can cycle within 30-40 minutes too. (Preferred suburbs above are a guide only!) I'm after housemates who are easy to get along with, respectful, reasonably tidy, and will respect my need for enough of my own space and privacy. That said, I'm keen to live somewhere at least somewhat homely, so after housemates who want to hang out sometimes too. It's important that I meet (or at least talk to) all of the current housemates first. Also, I'm not interested in sharing with any couples (sorry!). The house will be big enough that I am able to have space from other people when I need it - whether or not much of that space is in my room. I also have my own bedroom furniture. Like what you see, but more questions? Don't hesitate to ask! I can also get you a reference from a current housemate on request.
Hey, I'm Rich and am moving down to Canberra from Sydney in the new year to begin a graduate role with the Department of Finance. I'm looking for a place with some friendly housemates that has convenient public transport to my workplace in Forrest. Ideally I'd prefer a furnished property with an unfurnished private bedroom since I'll be moving my bedroom items with me. I'm relaxed and easy-going but also like to socialise and have a few drinks. I enjoy getting into the outdoors hiking, biking, paddle boarding and kayaking. I also like staying fit through running and going to the gym as well as reading, atrending concerts, watching sport and staying updated with current affairs. I'm clean and tidy and always do my share of the housework.
I’m looking for a room within reasonable proximity to ANU (preferably cycling distance) to continue postgraduate studies within the Environmental sciences/management. I’ve spent the last 3 years living and working in Melbourne with my partner where I work for a Bush crew/Environmental management company in Melbourne’s North East. Prior to moving to Melbourne, I lived in Launceston Tasmania for 3 years (where I originally studied my undergraduate degree in the Environmental Sciences) as well as Northern NSW for 2 years, and Sydney for 10 years. I am an easy going guy who is interested in developing veggie gardens, reading, hiking, camping, yoga, diving, music, and cooking and eating good food. I am interested in having the occasional good casual dinner conversations about nature, arts, literature, science history and politics, however I always respect personal space, boundaries and time. Being 30, I am not entirely interested in moving into any sort of party house but rather prefer the idea of a quiet respectful friendly abode. I am happy to provide character, professional, and rental references/referees if desired, or have a quick conversation/get together on skype. Kind regards, Phil Martin
I'm originally from Sydney but moved to Canberra a year ago for postgraduate study and work. I've been living on campus in share accomodation and looking for somewhere new that feels more like a home. I'm an easy house mate to get along with, clean, friendly and as far as I'm aware I have no annoying habits haha. In my spare time I'd say I'm like most young people, I exercise quite a lot and enjoy heading out for drinks and dinner with friends. When I'm at home it's nice to have someone around for a good chat or to watch tv with but I'm also quite content to chill out and read my book.
New student at ANU studying Master of Art History and Curatorship. I love tennis, gallery, art events, walking, jogging, swimming, poems, reading philosophy and art, food market and cooking. As a flatmate I am definitely very neat and tidy. Looking for a place that can be called home. The least length is 1 semester and longest would be 2 years.
Moving to Canberra to undertake a grad position at Geoscience Australia after spending the last year and a half in the UK undertaking a MSc at Oxford. Like spending my spare time hiking, reading, and woodworking. Hoping to find a friendly household to help with integrating into the Canberra way-of-life
