I'm a 31 year old professional, moving to Canberra to work for one of the major consulting firms. I'm moving from Bondi after living here for 3yrs. I have two cats who I'd love to bring with me however the priority is finding a place so I can start my new role.
The apartment is located on the trendy Foreshore side of Kingston, so it's handy for a beer at the Dock but is still a quick stroll to leafy Ye Olde Kingston for brunch, coffee, lunch and probably dinner. The place would have: - Your own bathroom (that guests might use) - Your own underground car spot - A gas stove and dishwasher in the kitchen - Air-con(/heating) - A decent sized living room - The apartment is mostly furnished besides the available room (there's space for another couch) - Brodburger is pretty dang close - Anytime Fitness is closer
This is such a great apartment! It's newish, quite big (over 100²m), and has plenty of storage. It has a really nice kitchen, if you're into cooking it has Smeg appliances and gas cooking. The place is located on the Foreshore, just minutes walk from the supermarket, lake, bars and restaurants. If you work in Barton like I do it's also an easy walk to work. Your room is unfurnished (ready to move in). It is quite big and has its own private bathroom (and bath!). It also has a huge built-in wardrobe. The rest of the apartment comes furnished. Bills are split evenly between two (gas, electricity, internet).
Hi - I'm Sarah! I'm a Kiwi who is moving to Canberra to commence a PhD at ANU. I've spent the last few years working and studying around the world, living in Canada and the UK. I'm currently hiking the length of NZ so might not be the fastest at responding to messages, but I'm looking for a wonderful spot to call home when I arrive in Canberra at the end of March. I like to think I'm pretty chill to live with, love being active and outdoors and can be a bit of a science geek. I love the odd tasty beer but don't party much these days (does a pot luck count as a party?!) and am hoping to find similar people to live with.
I'm a sociable guy who respects others privacy. Always up for a chat, but am happy to be by myself. Don't have many late nights, pretty much always cook at home and am generally pretty quiet. I love sports, especially cricket, rugby union and basketball. I enjoy keeping fit and go to the gym frequently. I'm working in the APS.
I'm friendly, clean, neat, sociable and respectful of the privacy of others. I've lived in flat/house shares for a few years now and I am now a fully "trained" housemate. I'm working part-time as a therapist and relatively new to Canberra. I have an assistance dog who is ridiculously well behaved. At times, I work from home auditing cases. Please note: I'm only looking to rent as a co-tenant or as a head tenant. I'd be willing to discuss all agreements upfront, even an occupancy agreement with the proviso that I be given a 4 to 6 weeks notice period. Hey guys, the rental market is brutal out there! I'd love to hear from you. In my spare time, I paint and have an active social life on weekends. I tend to go for hikes with my dog, visit friends and I am involved in many side projects that keep me busy. I tend to watch too much TV and Netflix too. I'm looking for a long term stay.
I'm a Yoga teacher, dancer, photographer, nature-lover. I'm very tidy, thoughtful and responsible. I am independent with a full life, but I also enjoy the buzz and colour of communal living with good-hearted and gentle people. I like to live in places with beautiful light and near to nature.

Professional working full time in the public service for about 10 years. Easy going and open minded. Prefer somewhere that is on the 'clean and tidy side of normal'. Mostly keep to myself but happy to socialise, chat, or game and share some meals and drinks together.
Hi, I've just moved to Canberra from the UK to work as a full time consultant. Having lived in shared accommodation back home for the last 9 years, I'd like to continue that here and need to find a place by the 28 April. In my spare time I enjoy exploring the local area and beyond (it's a big country) with friends (hopefully we can be friends!), doing a bit of non lycra'd up cycling and working on cars (once I buy one). I like to chill out at home and cook, drink tasty beer and cruise along too YouTube/Netflix/a bit of gaming. I'm a pretty open person. Ideally looking to move to the Kingston/Manuka area for at least 6 months, up to 2 years. Thanks for reading ! Henry
