I also have an equally well behaved, as well as respectful well mannered and easy going 14 year old daughter who stays with me every second weekend and week on week off during the school holidays. She's not your typical 14 year old who's loud and obnoxious, you barely even know she's around and is also happy enough to help around the house when asked. Hello everyone, We have two rooms for rent in my Townhouse in Yarrabilba, one room is the master bedroom with an ensuite and walk-in wardrobe, the other is smaller sized. The master bedroom will not come furnished however, I am looking to leave my bedframe for the next occupant. There is a built-in wardrobe in the smaller sized room, this occupant has access to their own bathroom/toilet. Shutters have been installed for privacy and cooling. The house is located in the developing area of Yarrabilba - approximately 40 minutes from the Gold Coast, 45 minutes from Brisbane CBD and 20 minutes from Springwood/Daisy Hill areas. It is at the beginning of the Yarrabilba estate, walking distance 5 minutes from the local Coles/McDonald's and bus-stops. There are four bedrooms spread over two levels, each level has its own bathroom and toilet. Upstairs is the main living area with the kitchen/pantry and two bedrooms including the master bedroom. Downstairs has two bedrooms with the laundry and garage. There are currently three of us living here, but, I am looking to move out late August. Between the three of us, we are very quiet and keep to ourselves or are out working/studying/socialising the majority of the time. There are a number of parking spaces available two in the garage, one on the driveway (covered by the front veranda) and also street-parking is available (usually first come first serve basis). The master bedroom is $175/week, with the spare room at $150 per week with unlimited NBN internet. All other bills are not included. Bond will include two weeks of rent. We are looking for people who clean up after themselves, respect privacy/property and is relatively organised. Hi! I'm Nic, and I come as a package deal with my 4 yr old rescued Alaskan Malamute, Moose. I am a laid back musician in two bands, currently working a casual stable hand job and I do some volunteer riding for a quarter horse breeder. I enjoy equestrian activities and anything horse-related, training animals, archery, jousting, guitar and flute (I am considerate of noise levels and can use headphones when needed). I'm friendly and get along with everyone, but clean and keep to myself. Looking for housemates that are chilled out, ideally active and enjoy the outdoors, and of course, will enjoy the company of a big, cuddly dog. Moose is super friendly, loves everybody, and is well mannered, desexed, flea/worm treated, house trained, doesn't bark or chew, but he will howl along with ambulances if he hears them! He's very gentle and tolerant of kids, cats, chickens and other pets but not always with other dogs. He does shed, but I own a very high powered vacuum cleaner to combat this as well as daily grooming. Air conditioning is essential in Summer as we both suffer greatly in the heat, if the room is not air conditioned I have my own window unit I can install. Budget and move date is flexible, and I am willing to pay more for the right place. I am very experienced with all animals (particularly horses) and am a good gardener, so I would be very willing to do work on the property for a reduction in rent, if applicable, by pre-determined arrangement. This includes cleaning or child minding. Location is flexible as I have my own transport, but anything in the Brisbane suburbs/outer Brisbane, though Southside is preferred. Rural areas are fine and I'm very much into permaculture, agriculture and anything to do with growing plants and livestock. Moose is not an escape artist or a jumper, but property must be fenced.
