I live in a large 4 bedroom house and would like to rent 1 large room that has a bathroom next to it. The rent includes electricity and water bills. I am an easy going mature person. I can help with furniture if needed. Please contact me if you are interested and we can discussed it.
So.. I am a 26 year old guy currently living in Melbourne. I recently got a job in ACT Health and planning to move to Canberra soon. I always see life very positive with a smile . Depending upon what you want me to be, I can either be a great friend or a good housemate (or both) . But I am a bad cook. Drawback of being spoon-fed all my life by my parents. So if you are my housemate you will surely see the funny side of my cooking miseries. I do not smoke or drink alcohol. Yep.. I am boring. But hey it is always nice to have a sober housemate friend who can drive. I am a movie buff and always up for Netflix, Movies and dinner with my mates.
WHO: I’m planning to move from Melbourne to Canberra soon - I have my eyes on ANU in 2018 so I want to spend the next year working and getting myself set up in Canberra. I’m quiet, independent and prefer to keep to myself. I’m not unfriendly and am happy to chat now and then but I am definitely not a party person. I’m clean, tidy and organised – when you see me around the house it will most likely be when I’m cleaning or in the kitchen preparing my meals for the week. I’m (mostly) vegan, don’t drink or smoke, and I am queer-friendly and pet-friendly. WHAT: I’m looking for a tidy sharehouse that I can come home to after work and on weekends knowing I can relax in peace and quiet. Ideal housemates will be tidy, responsible, and considerate of others. I don’t mind if you drink/smoke/eat meat as long as there’s no smoking indoors or drunkenness, and you don’t hang **** on me about my choices! I am looking for an unfurnished room that can fit a single bed, large chest of drawers, bookcase and desk. I will also need somewhere to park my car and some space in a kitchen cupboard for the bit of kitchenware I have. Internet access is also desirable. I’m hoping not to spend more than $200pw (plus bills) but would consider paying more for the right place. I’m hoping to stay long-term, but will also consider short-term opportunities. WHERE: As a newbie to Canberra I have no preference for area, so don’t be put off if your suburb is not in my list. My priority is finding the right place with affordable rent. WHEN: I can be flexible – hoping for mid- November but it will depend on what happens with work in Melbourne and, of course, when the right place is available. I would consider paying rent earlier than my actual move to secure the right place. HOW: I’m coming to Canberra next weekend (29-30 October) hoping to check out some places on the Saturday, and Sunday if need be. So if you would like to meet me and show me your place, or know more about me, please text or message me by Friday with a bit about your place and why you think I’ll be a good fit, and we’ll go from there. I might not be able to get around to everyone so the more you can tell me, the better!
Four week bond, 2 week rent in advance. Spacious house, two toilets, off street parking, close to amenities. Suit working persons, clean, tidy, sharing house with 2 working persons, please email to arrange an inspection
I'm quiet to do my own things but also love to have as much as occasionally social activities with my housemates. Currently, I'm studying in ANU college. So I prefer a place near ANU which is no longer than 20 minutes bus-trip. But several days ago, I went to Fisher. That's a beautiful beautiful beautiful place. I love there, so if the house is in Fisher, I'd love to take 1 hour bus to school every day 😍. As for housemates, I have no specific request. Hope you can all have a awesome day!!! (Oh, BTW, I'm a Chinese.)
Hi there! I am a kind, friendly and fun person to live with, who also loves a balance so quiet time is integral to my life.

I'm currently studying a PhD in astrophysics at Mount Stromlo and am interested in living in a share house. In my spare time I like to go for walks, watch TV and hope to one day write science fiction/fantasy.
Mature housemate to share fully furnished 3-bedroom, recently renovated house in Duffy with one person. Quiet locale, close to shops & bus route. Share utilities (electricity & water). Shed storage available. Pets OK.
I'm an arts student at UC and work part time; always keen to cook a nice dinner and sit down for a movie or a chat. I love my potted plants (mostly ferns and ornamental chillies- have't figured out how to make them grow spicy yet though..) and tackling excessively complicated recipes, even if they don't always turn out so well! I'll be knuckling down hard at work and uni this year in preparation for a trip overseas, so when I'm not running around trying to be a productive adult you'll probably find me lounging somewhere comfy with a glass of wine. Looking for a fun, chill household or like-minded people to start a new place with- smiley housemates who love commiserating over work woes and binging on Netflix! :)
I am a mature IT contractor working for health in Woden Canberra. I currently have a contract until the end of the year. I fly in on Mondays and Fly out Fridays so you will have the place to yourself on the weekends. I am easy going and quite and need a place to leave some of my gear and only sleep 4 nights a week.
Lovely bedroom with plently of storage and space in a beautiful almost new house. Wright being a new suburb is beautiful and close to everything one may need, inculding but not limited to shops, parks, buses and locations such as Woden, City and Belconnen.
Hi! I have a beautiful new place and looking for someone cool to live with. It has 4 bedrooms, but I'm keen to let 1 (2nd biggest). I like keeping a spare room for the occasional guest (yours welcome also) and have a study. The house is fully furnished, just need your own bedroom furniture. Oh an you will have your own bathroom / end of the house. My place has a nice big deck with BBQ and speakers perfect for entertaining. Has a big yard with new main bathroom & kitchen. It takes me 10-15min to get to work in city as right by the parkway. I'm laid back, very easy going. I travel a bit for work. Besides that I'm pretty active, Canberra local so always off doing something and seeing people. However tend to hibernate a bit in winter. I'm studying so may spend the odd day locked in study trying to cram but pretty happy & social besides that. Happy to show someone around who is new to Canberra, I know how hard it can be to make new friends. This place is my home so keen to find someone who has that in mind. Ontop of rent it would be split utilities and Internet (which is super fast). Oh and I have a cheeky pet Rabbit who is very cool comes when called and may follow you around.
This newly built two storey townhouse is perfectly located in Wright. 15 minutes to the city or to the foreshore. Plenty of room for visitors with outdoor allocated parking. The house will minimally furnished so if you have furniture that would be fantastic! FEMALES ONLY PLEASE. NO STUDENTS.
Hello! Hello, we are looking for like-minded housemates for a minimum of 8 months. Nature and culture are our main areas of interest. Being vibrant, social and open, but we value some quiet time on our own as well. The house has 5 bedrooms and 5 people can live there comfortably. The house is nice and sunny inside. It has great character, with many stain glass windows, a lot of art work around the place and a wide open kitchen-dining area with a wonderful open pantry to share. There is a large communal table and a big living area warmed by an electric fireplace -this place is very cozy-. There is amazing view over the beautiful garden with a veggie patch, looking over Mount Taylor Nature Reserve. It is a beautiful neighbourhood and it’s only a 5 minute walk to the Nature Reserve. Kambah Village shops (Woolworths, Post Office, Bakery, Pizza, Bottle Shop, Medical Practice, etc.) are a 15 minute walk (2 min by car), Hyperdome Shopping Centre is 8 min by car and it's just a 25 minute drive to the city/ANU. Buses every 15 minutes. We have two rooms available (furnished or unfurnished). Rent is $140 per week for a smaller bedroom and $150 for another bigger one. We already have 4 people living here. Bond (4 week's rent) and 2 weeks rent in advance will need to be paid (negotiable). Rent doesn't cover utility costs ($20/week) so you will need to pay extra for electricity, gas, internet and water. *Couples welcome I have a rental agreement ready to sign for the right people!

Looking for a housemate to share with a 25yr old female and two dogs (a terrier and a husky x) in a house in Wright. Directly across the road from Stromlo, it's an amazing location if you like hiking or mountain biking. 10-15 minutes away from all the major town centres. You'd have your own bathroom and parking space in the garage, and there's also extra storage room in the spare bedroom/space to turn it into a study. I'm looking for someone neat, tidy and sociable. Love a glass of wine and a chat after work and the occasional TV binge. Bonus points if you have an excellent sense of humour and appreciation for bad puns. House is connected to the NBN which is included in the price, with all other bills and utilities split evenly.
Looking for housemate for a single room to share with us (3 people, all full time employed in age of 20-30), brand new house, brand new furniture, fully furnished with Air conditioning, fiber NBN wireless internet, laundry, bed, desk, storage and everything. All bills included! Just sharing bathroom and toilet with two clean and tidy guys. 10 mins drive to uni. 1 min walk to bus station, long term prefer but short term is also welcome.
Hi there 😀 I'm a friendly & caring person who loves conversation as is my 6 year old son Joshua who would stay with me for a few days each week in Canberra. I'm clean & tidy, responsible, and respect others space. We live on our hobby farm between Yassand Cowra and I'm studying a dip in Community Services and my son is doing distance education. For fun I enjoy reading, walking, a permaculture lifestyle, catching up with friends.
I'm a 26 year old working full time Monday-Friday looking for a new place to live in the ACT. I'm friendly and love to have a chat with housemates over drinks/dinner or even going out for social activities but at the same time I respect that everyone needs their space and privacy. I keep things clean and tidy (without being too over the top) and all rent and bills paid on time. I like to keep a relaxed and happy vibe at home - I have no problem at all with visitors but prefer to not be in a 'party' house. After work during the week I like to just chill out with dinner, a glass of wine and some music - I'm not much of a TV watcher myself but it doesn't bother me if others are. Sometimes I will watch a series or movie on Netflix instead :-P I enjoy cooking at home and also going out somewhere for a good feed. I have no pets of my own but I am more than happy to live in a place with pets. I've lived in a few sharehouses previously, I'm happy to share chores/housework and I'm pretty conscious of keeping things easy and enjoyable for everyone :) If you think I might be a good fit for your home or even have any questions, please get in touch :)
I am moving to Canberra from Perth in the week beginning 7 November 2016, so happy to move in any time from then (flexible as I will be booking short-term accommodation for when I arrive). I am a 21 year old accountant (will be working in the CBD) - I have lived in Perth nearly my whole life. My interests include cooking and swimming, and generally spending time in the outdoors. I am friendly and approachable around the house but am also able to provide my housemates with space (we all need it!) at times. Please let me know if you think I'd be a fit for your house!
I'm a 31 year old ex-public servant, currently looking for casual employment whilst I wait to commence study next year (Psychology). I am a single mum, however, my 2 year old daughter, Arabella, currently resides with my parents in Kambah. Although there is no formal care/visitation arrangements in place with my folks, it is expected that I go to Kambah to fulfill my visitation requirements, and it would be only on a very rare occasion that I would have to care for Arabella at my own abode. Other than that, I like to get out to see friends as much as possible, get out to gigs when I can, go out for dinner etc, but I also love just vegging at home and watching movies/TV series/Netflix, doing my crosswords, reading, listening to music etc. I am also a bit of an amateur musician - I sing and play a little acoustic guitar. This is a hobby I really want to get back into after years of being a bit lazy about the whole thing. NB: Please note that although I am a smoker, I am strictly an outdoor smoker.
