I am a 22 year old who works full-time in the health field. I am clean and tidy as well as respectful for communal spaces. I am reliable and happy to pull my weight in relation to household chores. I am quite sociable and happy to have a glass of wine and a chat after work. I am also respectful of personal space. I am looking for a short-term lease (up to six months) at this stage and would prefer a room with my own bathroom/ensuite. I would prefer close to The Canberra Hospital but happy to consider rooms on the northside. I have no pets myself but I am an animal lover so it wouldn't bother me if the household had pets.
Hi, My name is Ellen. I am a school psychologist working for the ACT Education Directorate. I moved to Canberra last year, from country Victoria, where I used to work as a high school teacher. I am a pretty easygoing person who likes to share the odd meal/conversation with housemates. I also like reading, running/going to the gym, and cooking in my spare time. I am open to different move dates. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Kind regards, Ellen Sheridan

I have two very friendly Burmese cats who are like dogs and love attention, they live inside and outside. So if you dont like cats probably not a good place to live. ;-)
Hi! I am moving from Melbourne to Canberra to start a grad program next year. I worked as a doctor for two years but have decided for a bit of a career and geographical change! I am an easy going person who likes clean shared areas (but not OCD) and have lived in share houses for the past 6 years with no problems. I would love to live in a house where people like to socialise i.e. grab coffee/have a drink after work/share occasional meals. I'm looking for more of a "home" than a room to rent.
I'm a 23 year old student in my final year of University studying a Bachelor of Journalism/International studies. I'm interested in sports and also creative writing. I'm an avid reader and like music and theatre. I'm outgoing and easy to get along with, but also respect people's space and have an understanding that people need time to themselves. I work part time as a stable hand so I keep pretty busy. I enjoy the occasional beer with friends whilst having a chat about various things.
Looking to move mid-late February into either a share house or apply for a 2 or 3 bedroom place and start one up. Ideally have my own bathroom but not essential. Not looking to spend more than $180-200. Please message me with any rooms you have going or would be interested in teaming up.
I'm an arts student at UC and work part time; always keen to cook a nice dinner and sit down for a movie or a chat. I love my potted plants (mostly ferns and ornamental chillies- have't figured out how to make them grow spicy yet though..) and tackling excessively complicated recipes, even if they don't always turn out so well! I'll be knuckling down hard at work and uni this year in preparation for a trip overseas, so when I'm not running around trying to be a productive adult you'll probably find me lounging somewhere comfy with a glass of wine. Looking for a fun, chill household or like-minded people to start a new place with- smiley housemates who love commiserating over work woes and binging on Netflix! :)
I am a mature IT contractor working for health in Woden Canberra. I fly in on Mondays and Fly out Fridays so you will have the place to yourself on the weekends. I'm a 24 year old professional who likes to keep her place nice and tidy. I love some TV after work and going to food festivals on the weekend. I moved to Canberra from Melbourne last year and recently finished my graduate program. I'm more than happy to help you settle into Canberra if you just moved yourself.
Love fitness, sports, the outdoors, having a laugh and enjoy socializing. Having lived in share houses previously I am very understanding of space. Into a variety of shows and I really enjoy to cook when there is no rush.
I have a room available in a modern, spacious, 3rd floor apartment from 28th January. The apartment is located in the popular and fast growing suburb of Wright. The medium sized room is unfurnished but the rest of the apartment is. You’ll get a built in wardrobe, direct access to the huge balcony, your own bathroom (with great water pressure) and outstanding views of the Molonglo Valley. Open plan living and dining area still allows both bedrooms some privacy. It has a modern kitchen with new appliances, reverse cycle heating/air conditioning, washer and dryer. If you have a car there is plenty of off-street parking or you can use the tandem car space underground. Otherwise public transport is about a 1.5 min walk away. 15mins to the City, 10 mins to Woden or Barton. Unlimited NBN internet, Electricity/Gas and Foxtel is also included in the weekly rent. Looking for: A clean, respectful person who cleans up after themselves. Down to earth with similar traits. Will require 2 weeks rent in advance and 2 weeks for bond.
Working 9-5 in the city so somewhere in the area would be ideal. Drinks tea and coffee in equal measure, will recycle till the end of days. Can cook about 12 things but willing to try new things (i promise i won't poison you). Enjoy playing sports some evenings and watching it others. I keep lying to myself that I like running but will do it on occasion.
I'm moving to Canberra in early February (can move in earlier or later) to work full time in finance in the APS. I'm clean and tidy and enjoy cooking/baking. I love animals so I'm happy to live in a household with pets. I’m pretty active outside of work with volunteering for various causes and also enjoy hiking and other cool activities. On the other hand, I love a day at home just chilling out crafting, watching Netflix and cross stitching and am more than happy to have company when I’m at home. I'm considerate of other people's space but also enjoy socialising.
