I keep pretty busy working 30+ hours a week and studying at mac uni, pretty tidy and considerate, have been living in a sharehouse
My name is Maricel. I am 27 years old and an American moving to Sydney to pursue my Master of Occupational Therapy degree. Currently, I am a Case Manager for a non-profit mental health organization here in the San Francisco bay area and also part-time working as an Occupational Therapy Aide for a pediatric clinic serving children who live with autism. I love what I do and these positions have pointed me in the direction to achieve my Masters in Australia. When moving to Australia, I am looking to have a private space of my own to detox/download from the day. I anticipate being out of the house often for class and a potential part-time job. Additionally, I expect to be studying very often and will be keeping to myself to be productive. I'd like to think that I am a bubbly, spirited, and social person to anyone/everyone. I am respectful and responsible. I pride myself on practicing good communication skills and manners. When I'm out and about, you can find me exercising, hiking, being outdoors, and traveling to see new sights. Also, I love to dance! At home, I pretty much keep to myself but enjoy the company of others: small talk to insightful conversations. I enjoy reading, listening to music, engaging in relaxation strategies: yoga/meditation and Do-It-Yourself crafts/activities. I love animals, especially dogs! I have one here in America but will NOT be bringing my furry companion. The ideal space I am looking for is within proximity of University of Sydney, Cumberland / Lidcombe area but I am open to other regions. It would be great to have a separate entrance in the event of working/studying at odd hours. Currently looking for ensuite/private bathroom within a studio flat, granny flat, 2-room share, or 1 bedroom flat. I look forward to moving to Australia!

Hello. We are a friendly Aussie/Asian family of four who would love to welcome someone to come rent out our newly refurbished fully self-contained downstairs granny flat / studio. The studio has it's own direct access off the shared driveway that leads to a garden with natural bush outlook. We all live upstairs and there is good sound insulation between floors. The bedroom has a double bed, plenty of built in storage, a small desk area and wall hung TV. The separate bathroom and kitchen are brand new, as are all the furniture and appliances. These include a fridge freezer, microwave, electric portable hob and integrated washing machine and dryer. To make things easier all bills (i.e. water, electric, internet) are included in the rent. We are located off the main road on a quiet tree lined street. Its a 10 minute walk to the local train station at Cheltenham with direct trains to Macquarie University, Chatswood, North Sydney and Sydney city centre. Beecroft Village is about 20 minutes walk and has a number of good cafes and shops, although you'll probably find most of what you need in Epping or Macquarie Shopping Centre. As you can see from the map we're also very close to the Lane Cove National Park which is a great place for bush walks and jogging. We would ideally like to find someone for the whole year, but are happy to discus different lease terms. Please feel free to contact us with any questions. Will be happy to answer, send more pictures, offer advice etc. Please note we are not accepting couples or pets.

I am a 27 year old Brisbane born civil engineer recently moved to Sydney and looking for housemates! I've lived in sharehouses since I was 18 and well accustomed to living independently. I have my own bedroom furniture but not much else. My job is stable and I'm looking for something long term (6-24 months). I often work away, so you may or may not notice I go missing for weeks. I am a reliable, well mannered and respectable guy. When I'm home, I'm sociable and chilled. I verge on the OCD side of cleanliness for my own spaces, but can be more tolerant when it comes to shared spaces if needed. I love pets but don't have any of my own. I also love music but I promise I won't sing in the shower. I am able to move in straight away, but not in any rush either. Hope to hear from you!
I'm always friendly and up for a chat. I'm a little OCD so you don't have to worry about mess or cleaning up after me. I love all things music, I sing and play guitar - but if you need some quiet that's completely fine with me too
Currently I have a great flatmate but unfortunately she is returning home to Italy. I am in my upper 30s and from the US. I work full time in Business Intelligence. I'm social / private and everything in between. Currently I am experimenting with vegetarianism but don't mind if your not. I love watching and playing sports, although out of the shape at the moment :). I have my own social life but would love to have a flatmate that I get along well enough to hangout with. I believe home should be a comfortable situation for both, which includes respecting each others down times and using common sense. I'm clean and tidy but not anal so hope to find the same.

Both rooms contain a window with crimsafe installed, fly screen as well as light adjustable curtains. The place is currently unfurnished but I'm scouting around for furniture. Alternatively , you could bring your own.
