It’s a lovely warm house with central heating. By the way water electricity and gas is included in the rent. If and when any of those go up so will the rent, but as we are three people it is not a huge hike as it would be if you lived by your self. The whole street is quite and peaceful. We have a lovely “garden room “ that is north facing to lounge in. It’s magical, especially in winter. We have everything you would possibly need for comfortable living.
Hello! My name is Zina. Ideally, I'm looking to share a place with one other roommate or two if I can have my own ensuite. I am clean and tidy and respect other peoples belongings and space, but also sociable and friendly. I'm looking to share a place with people who share my values in maintaining a tidy environment and who are conscious of not making loud noise at night (for example, throwing parties all the time or playing loud music).
I'm easy going, easy to get along with. I'm clean, courteous, and always pull my weight. Down to party every now and again, but mostly I'm quiet and enjoy movies, tv, and games - of both the video and board varieties. I'll have a boardgames night any night of the week! Lived in Canberra since I was young. I'm a nurse, working at The Canberra Hospital. Looking for a single room, in the central south of Canberra, flexible with arrangements, furnishings, and start date. Looking forward to meeting you! :)
I'm mature and professionally focused. I don't spend much time at home but I always clean and pay rent on time. I'm low maintenance, very nice and i'm easy to get along with. I'm fitness focused and am a qualified PT, but I have temporarily left the industry. I work full time in the public service. I don't smoke, drink, do drugs, have a pet or throw parties. My girlfriend will be over some of the time, but I spend most weekends at her house. I know what sharehouses and flat shares are like, having lived in a few, so i respect peoples space and clean up and do my part of the housework. I'm also pretty great :)
Hey there, my name's Ethan and i'm looking for a new bunch of legends to live with! I work full time as a carpenter, but like to spend my free time taking trips down to the coast, riding the mountain bike or enjoying the company of my friends. I've been living in different share house configurations for the last few years, but as I'm sure you know, things change and people move on. I'm very tidy, respectable, and punctual with rent/bill payments. I can provide roomie references from any of my previous share houses if needed!
Just started looking :) Moving up from Victoria so new to the area. Looking for sharehouses or housemates that are social but respectful of each others space- shared feed and drinks together be great, but respect each others space sort of vibe? Haha I've lived in share houses since uni- respectful and clean country kid at heart, into sport and exercise but still enjoy a parmi at the pub and a beer or wine Will be working in Phillip so probably looking for somewhere on the South side of the lake but open to suggestions :)
My name is Matt. I'm a full-time professional moving from Melbourne to Canberra and looking to find a place in an existing share-house around early August. I'm sharehouse trained - clean, tidy, respectful, and appreciate my quiet time, but also don't mind a chat or a shared activity. I have my own bedroom furniture. My preference is for off-street parking if possible and my own bathroom, but I’m flexible.
Hey guys I'm a youth worker, I have escaped Canberra for the winter but will be looking for a place to live when I return in September. I am at that age where I still wana be social but also enjoy my own space/ alone time. I am a bit of a neat freak not guna lie! I like a clean non cluttered house with lots of plants! I'm vegetarian, prefer to live with other vegetarians/vegans. Love music and drinking tea ( I come with a large tea collection!) Racists and homophobes need not apply. I'm an open book so ask anything : )
I am working as an APS at the Department of Finance. I love nature, watching artistic films and want to get back into reading. I am looking for walking distance to Forrest or a maximum of 20 minute drive to Forrest. I am very flexible and do not require a personal bathroom. Additionally, I am a neat and tidy person.
I am an early educational teacher working 4 days a week and am also currently studying my Diploma through TAFE NSW. I work at Christian School in Canberra and am currently living in Coombs. I'm looking for a place that is closer to work and gives me a bit more freedom. I am tidy, like to cook my own meals, am quite active, a bit of a Netflix addict, and on weekends I like to explore what Canberra has to offer.
This is a comfortable home that seems to work well as a share house. If you like a bbq on a deck or a swim in summer it probably suits you particularly well. The house is in a cul de sac so parking is pretty easy out the front.
One room for rent in a four bedroom house. The house is less than a 10 minute walk to Woden. Weston, Chifley, Curtin, Pearce and Mawson shops are all a short five minute drive away and Civic is just over 10 minutes. Bus stops are less than 100m away. Rent for the room is $200 per week, plus bills (electricity, gas and water - though internet is included in the rent). The room is furnished, but I'm happy to rent it out unfurnished. The house is recently renovated, with spacious living areas, a fire place and a large kitchen with new appliances. There's two bathrooms, both with in floor heating. You'd be sharing a large bathroom with one other female. The house is sunny and fully furnished. It also has a large back yard, with a productive garden and plenty of space for parking. You'd be sharing the house with myself and one other flatmate. We're looking another housemate, preferably a student or professional in their 20s-early 30s who is friendly, tidy, social, considerate of others and a non-smoker. Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions or wish to arrange an inspection.
I graduated from ANU last December with a Bachelor in International Security Studies and I've recently been accepted to study my Masters at ANU. I’m super chill and love talking about almost anything. Always down for good movie/ Netflix binge/ board game night. But also like some alone time to read and recharge. I’m usually out of the house working/ at uni or training but have lazy home days in between. Love to have a clean kitchen and just a tidy house in general :)
