Hi there, I'm 24 years old, LGBT+ friendly, nerd and looking for a room to rent as I am moving to the ACT to work as a Veterinary Nurse. I am fairly social but mostly like to keep to myself. I am clean and I prefer quiet drinks, going to national parks hiking/camping or gaming over partying. I have 3 reptiles (lizards) that are kept in indoor enclosures; they will not be will me immediately as I am trying to get settled, so I am hoping to find a pet friendly place. I love all animals and will happily help out with your pets :) If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!
Looking for small, simple accommodation or a share house preferably with students. Preferably with good public transport. I'm currently an undergrad student at ANU going in to second year in Visual Art and Science.
Christy and I are early healthcare professionals finally starting our career! We are keen to get started in Canberra come 2019 and finally make a difference. We are looking for another housemate(s) and separate rooms. Both of us are clean and laidback but are always up for dinner or a conversation! With that being said, we do respect the privacy of others as we like our own time to ourselves as well. We are not a couple but friends from Sydney. We met each other while we were studying at the Unversity of Sydney. Our budget is 250/week each and hope that we can find somewhere conveniently located near Westfield Woden and Canberra Hospital.
I am a Canberra local, 27, and working full time in public health. I am looking to live with one other person. I am pretty easy going and like to keep my space clean and tidy. In my spare time I usually am having brunch, going for walks, hanging out with friends, or travelling. I am not a party person, but am sociable :)
My hobbies include roller derby and drag/burlesque performance. I work retail full time. If you have pets I will love them. I’ve lived all over Aus but call Canberra my home. Would love a housing arrangement that’s community based, but flexible on that- will respectfully live in a house of lone wolves.
Hey! My name is Pat and I’m 19. I currently work full time in Sydney and will be moving to the ACT over Christmas to start at a new branch of my work! I ride/race enduro mountain bikes so I train a lot, ride most afternoons and take pride in keeping my possessions clean and tidy. I also live with the basics. My bikes stay in my van or at work and I’ll probably be moving down initially with a suitcase! Anyway please don’t hesitate to message me with what you have to offer! I’m definitely in need of something!
House is spacious, fully furnished and centrally heated. It is close to Woden Plaza and bus interchange. Guests enjoy hanging out together sharing a tv show or time outside in the mature backyard where a BBQ, table and chairs have been set up for informal meals or a quiet drink. Common areas are kept tidy and appliances have been provided for all the comforts of a home away from home. There's security and privacy in lockable single and QS bedrooms for your personal down time, but the house is just a short walk from the Woden precinct. There are cinemas, gyms, shops, eateries and the bus interchange as well as social clubs for when family or friends want to join your for a meal or live show.
Hey! I'm 23, and work full time for a consulting firm. I'm friendly and easy going, love to have a chat, but also respect others need for space, and expect the same in return. In me, you will find a very kind flat mate who doesn't mind sharing all the good food that I can cook ;) I actually enjoy cleaning so you won't to worry about mess with me! I don't drink or smoke. I am not a "party" person so do not worry about noise with me in the house.
I am a late 20s full time professional working with Accenture ANZ. I am originally from the country and love to share a few Bevs on weekends and watch the footy. my spare time usually includes Cycling, Boxing, Gym, Tinkering with my car or computer and drinking some hipster beers. I will admit I am a mostly serious person nor a party loving person but I am reliable for just about anything that needs doing (like finding out why the net is out again). please Send me a hello!
Hi! I'm a new grad RN working at Canberra Hospital in August. I'll be doing shift work (AM, PM, nights) so I'll be seeing you at odd hours of the day. I'm laidback, tidy, and happy to chill out and binge on Netflix. I'm happy to make new friends and also understand the need for self-chill time. I am also looking for a place that's open for my partner to visit until Christmas as he lives up in QLD. Feel free to message me any questions!
I'm a friendly, mature and responsible woman looking for one or more housemates. I don't actually have a place to rent out/share with others at this point - I'm just putting my feelers out to find potential housemates. I would like the company of a friendly and quiet housemate, as I'm looking to move around October-November this year. I would prefer to pay between $150-220 per week, and live in either Woden Valley, the inner south or inner north area. I would also be open to living somewhere in Queanbeyan region for a one bedroom rental in my price range. I am looking for a place that has air conditioning for the summer. I'm very accepting and non-judgemental, as well as being queer/trans/ace friendly. I'd like to live with other LGBT-friendly and open-minded people. I'm fairly quiet and often keep to myself, but enjoy chatting with housemates from time to time. I don't drink alcohol, smoke or party, so I would prefer to live with people who are similar in lifestyle to me. I want to live with people who have good communication skills, and can raise problems directly and honestly. I'm a bit of a night owl as well. P.S. I'm not a vegetarian, and I do eat meat fairly regularly - just thought I'd mention this in case it's a dealbreaker for some people!
I work full-time for a construction company and i'm also studying a bachelor of construction management full-time at UC. I play touch and soccer 2 nights a week. I spend a lot of time at the coast on weekends during summer and a lot of time at the snow on weekends during winter. I don't have any pets but I love animals so I would be happy to move in to a place with pets. I also like to keep a relatively clean house. I'm hoping to move in somewhere before Christmas, but I can push it back to early January if needs be.

We love getting outdoors and making the most of life. Hiking, rock climbing, skiing and the beach are amongst our hobbies. We are looking for a place to rent for 6 months (or more) with another couple whilst we settle in the Canberra. We have a lovely, well trained little Labradoodle.
Hey there, my name is Emma and I am an 18 year old pharmacy assistant looking for a share house to call home. I’m a quite neat person and love living in a clean environment, and am very much a quiet person so would definitely not be a bother at all.
Hi, I’m Phoebe. I’m a primary teacher who works hard during the week and I love to socialise on weekends. I’m moving from a regional area in Northern NSW and will be looking for a place from mid Dec or earlier for the right place. Being from the country, I love fresh air and green space and getting out and about. I would prefer to move into an already established house, but would also be happy to team up and get a place. I am a clean and tidy housemate, who lives an active and healthy lifestyle. I love playing hockey and going to the gym! I also don’t mind a cheeky mid-week wine and quality convos. I have a 2 year old miniature dachshund called Edwina. She’s a legend and if you’re a dog person you won’t be able to help but loving her too! We are super easy going and love going for big walks. I’ll be down that way a few times over the coming term so if I sound like I might be a fit for you, let me know and we can meet up over a coffee and a chat!
I’m originally from Japan, but I’ve been in Aus for the last 5 years. I moved in Canberra this year due to a new job in Barton. I work full time as an early childhood lead educator. Since my life has kind of settled finally, I am looking to rent my own place or team up with someone and rent something together. I’m very clean, organized, tidy and considerate, so I wouldn’t be a bad one to live with :p I like exploring cafes and restaurants on weekends, but I am not into much of outdoor activities.. haha I enjoy quiet nights after work Mon to Fri, and also hit the gym at night. I don’t mind buying furniture or appliances for the place, but I do not have a van or Ute...! Please shoot through the message if you are interested in teaming up :)
I am a quiet and kind person, who keeps to himself and gives others plenty of space. I work in the IT industry and am currently studying software engineering. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, coding and listening to music. My ideal housemate would be someone who does not smoke or do drugs and is respectful of boundaries.
I am a health professional currently looking for a property and a suitable housemate to share within close proximity to the Canberra Hopital. I am quiet, clean, friendly and hope to share with someone who is similar. I spend most of my time at work or at the gym and enjoying the simple things in life. Ideally looking for a place to live I can call home and feel safe and secure.
I am looking to move to Canberra from NSW Central Coast. I have recently been employed by the National Zoo and Aquarium. I'm tidy and often happy to cook for myself or others. I am independent at times while also enjoying the company of others at times. I am looking for a room, ideally with a separate bathroom but not essential. Parking would be ideal.
Hi! I'm Alice, 24 years old and recently graduated as a dietitian. I am starting a new full time role in Canberra in Feb! I'm originally from Adelaide but have lived in Sydney for the past 2 years. I love food and cooking, sharing a wine, pets and being active. Super clean and tidy, laid-back and easy going. I enjoy socialising but also happy to spend time alone. Looking for some down to earth flat mates that share similar interests :)
Hi! I'm an easy-going, tidy and respectful housemate. I keep pretty busy between studying and working, but in my spare time I like being active, cooking, socialising and visiting family in Victoria. I'm looking for a fairly long term arrangement, and am after a room with a wardrobe and space for a double bed and desk. I am also after one car parking space. Cheers, Felicity
I’m pretty easy going... as long as the kitchen is clean 🤣 I like my privacy but I also like to have abit of a chat and occasionally be social, whether it’s with wine or just a movie. Otherwise I am clean, considerate, can cook and have consistent income.
Hi, I'm an easy going but also shy at first guy who works in childcare and wants a household rather than a group of strangers living together. I like board games and computer games and i like to cook.
I work full time as a lawyer. I'm vegetarian and I like to cook, swim, try out random classes at the gym, ride my bicycle and go hiking. I also love to watch live sports games and musicals. I always clean up after myself and have experience living with a wide range of different people (one time I lived with 11 other people in an apartment for six months). Pretty chilled out, always happy to chat, hang out or cook dinner together, but also value individual space and privacy.
I'm a registered nurse working for ACTHealth and am looking for a room in a share house near to the hospital. I love dogs, am super clean, friendly and love to bake 😄. You wont see me all that often as I'll either be at work, the gym or sleeping. I am moving from a 12 share dormitory so I know how to live with many people 😊
I’m a full time pube, love the gym but equally love a good beer! Like to socialise but also like to be a hermit and bulk watch tv shows. Preferably queer friendly :) Looking for an unfinished room and somewhere with a garage of shed to store a small amount of camping stuff!
