I easy going, mature and respectful. Don't let my age deter you, I'm young at heart. I'm well travelled and happy to talk about most things. I'm not looking for a party house, rather a tranquil place to return home to. I have a thirst for life and humanity, by that I mean, people matter! I happy to pitch in and do my share of household chores and up keep of the home. I'm comfortable with pets. You won't find a better chilled out room mate. I enjoy walks, deep conversations, music, culture, spirituality, sport, and more, however I do like my own space Off street parking for my motorcycle would be ideal, but not totally essential. I'm looking to move in at the end of June, but keen to secure now I look forward to hearing from you, male or female. David

25 mins from Newcastle by car. One room approximately 3m x 3m. Furnished with double bed, chest of drawers, desk and chair. Looking for an employed person or student, not unemployed or on Centrelink. The land is waterfront to Lake Macquarie, great view. You would be sharing the 3 bedroom house with one quiet young guy who stays only 1 or 2 nights per week. Also myself (31 yr old Aussie male). We are quiet and non-smokers. It's an old house (1940's). Quiet street. Bus at end of the street to Fassifern train station (train station 3 minute drive away) Close to main street of Toronto where Coles and Woolworths are. Off street parking. Large backyard backing directly onto the lake, great view. I am a quiet person so if you make a lot of noise at night time or play music late at night then this house isn't for you. (bedrooms are located side by side so TV/music noise travels very easily, ear phones are great.) Electricity, water and unlimited wireless internet included in price. Based on minimal electricity use, if you want to use a heater in your room this can be negotiated for a higher rent. Bond is $300 CASH. 1 cat already. I am undecided but I may consider a cat if it's desexed. No Smoking Anywhere. I mostly occupy my lounge room TV as I use it as my computer monitor when I'm at home after work. So you may want to have your own Near train and bus. Rent is for the room only, do not ask to store a trailer, boat etc. on the property. Not good for people allergic to bees as I have bee hive in part of the back yard as my hobby. Not suitable for people with children as I don't want kids here. Ideally looking for someone around my age.
A 3 bedroom fully furnished house sharing with one other person. Unlimited data, Netflix, kitchen with dishwasher, reverse cycle A/C, bushland behind with great outlook and a nice quiet suburb. I work full time, play sport and am only home to cook, sleep and Netflix binge. Non-smoking home.
I'm easy going, get along with most people. Clean up after myself and respect other people's privacy. I'm new to Newcastle, originally from the south coast. I like to surf on weekends and get out and about, I'm pretty quite during the week, I like to come home after work and cook some food and chill out and watch some movies or TV shows. I'm not looking for a party house but do enjoy having a beer here or there.
Both moving from Darwin to Newcastle in mid June. Both working full time; Kirsten’s an Exercise Physiolgist and Steve’s an electrician. We are looking for a 2/3 bedroom house, preferably a garage and parking available. Please feel free to contact if you know of a home similar. Thank you 😊
Looking to live anywhere in Newcastle! We're tidy, easy going, good natured, and love to cook. Looking for team-ups or somewhere preferably with our own bathroom/ensuite (but happy to share) to move into. Prefer unfurnished, as we have a bed/bedside table/chest of drawers/desk etc of our own that we hope to bring with us. I'm a full time student (uni and soon to be tafe) which means I spend a lot of time studying. Miller works casually most nights of the week, but is super friendly and is always happy to sit down and watch a game of footy. Happy to have a few drinks or sit down and watch a movie every now and then, but also like keeping to ourselves. We have one cat who we'd love to bring with us, she's mostly an outdoors cat who only comes in to eat and occasionally to sleep with us. For the first few weeks we'd keep her inside to get her used to the place before slowly introducing her to the outdoor area.
Nice Breezy house with good backyard and bus stop at door. 5 mins to Fassifern station and Toronto shopping centre. 25 mins to Newcastle CBD. 5 mins to Lake Macquarie and parks. Room has built in wardrobe and ceiling fan, double bunk bed is available if needed. The living areas are spacious and the kitchen has plenty of cupboard space and benchtops. A shared internal toilet and bathroom and external laundry overlook gardens where I grow some vegies and herbs. Sorry for those who have pets but you will not be considered thank you.
Is your home a blissful, amazing sanctuary that lights up your heart? Is the granny flat, converted shed or self-contained something on your property calling for a loving, creative, grounded & balanced being to inhabit it? Hi, I'm Jen. After many years of house sharing I feel a longing to have a space to call my own. However, I believe we are meant to exist in community, so I'd love to share the land & cost of overheads with organically minded, earth conscious & energy conscious people. A snapshot of me: I'm 36 and work in a variety of fields in the Arts, Self-development & Event Management fields. Last year I returned to my home town of Newcastle after over a decade away of job pursuits & I'm happy to be back & closer to friends, family & the beach. I enjoy my work as Studio Manager of an Art Studio in Wallsend, alongside building my own business as a Shamanic Womancrafter, Life Doula, Artist, Healer & Teacher, running women's circles & currently studying the women's mysteries & spiritual practises. I want to be radically honest here about who I am. For some, what I just wrote may seem a bit far out or 'hippy', but I hope for the right people, you'll read between the lines & feel what I'm about. I'm caring, empathetic, motivated, logical & got my feet firmly on the ground! Apart from all the usual 'fully house trained' stuff (even considered a bit of a handy-woman & come with tools to help with odd jobs & repairs around the house), I come with a fur child. Elkie is my 14yr old, female tabby cat. She's super chilled, doesn't wander very far, spends most of her time sleeping on my bed & loves a good chat. My wish list - We're longing for a self-contained space that is quiet & safe - Window & doors screened for mozzie protection - Separate bedroom to the living space would be ideal - Loads of natural light & air flow - Grass, tree's & nature are my daily medicine, so some greenery would be amazing - Bath & air con are luxury items I would thank the stars for! - Space for my art studio/office set up - Storage for my camping stuff, bits & pieces - Kitchen I can create in - No more than a 30min drive from Wallsend would be preferred & close to a water source would be magic! - Unfurnished, as I have everything. There are so many different types of properties, homes, families & living arrangements out there, so if any of this has kept you reading so far & you've got something that might suit, I'd love to hear from you. I know the perfect sanctuary exists! I look forward to meeting you.
Hi my name is Sarah, I have one room for rent in Fennell Bay, Ten minutes from Toronto, 15 minutes from Charlestown, 10 minutes from Warners Bay. The house in Fennell Bay is ideally located 2 minutes drive from fassifern train station . So if you want a quiet place to rest but also work in Newcastle you can leave the car at home. The room has built in robes and will fit a queen bed. There are three women at the house currently. Two 27 and one 29. we are all not here very often together. So the house is quiet. I have a dog on the property a maletese. The Room is available straight away once bond has been paid. Bond is 4 weeks rent upfront. Rent is paid two weeks in advance. Smokers and drug users need not apply
Excellent interpersonal skills, used to sharing, love of life and people and dogs with a passion for the ocean. Into paleo, clean eating, juicing. Have home care work lined up to 30hrs per week when move down soon from Qld. Been nursing in a variety of fields for years. Easy to live with, like a chat and live a basic happy life.
I'm a tidy and quiet professional engineer. I've mostly rented by myself (including 2 yrs on 26 acres) so I know how to keep a house and yard. I've spent a couple of years in share housing (one with three other guys) so I know how to make it work. I'm just looking for somewhere nice to share so I can have some more pocket money to spend on my hobby farm on the weekends.
Hi! I am just moving into a really neat, long-term rental, tucked snugly between Cave Beach and Murray's Beach up a quiet non-through road. As it has two spare bedrooms available, I thought some company would be nice. I do have permission to sublet, so there will be no issues there. I am a local doctor, which I hope means I am a reasonable human being. I am also British (I know, no-one is perfect!), and have always had room-mates in the past, so this is nothing new to me. This townhouse on three floors sits up a driveway among trees on a gentle hill, so it floats above it's surroundings, with a lovely sense of light and space. It has only had one previous tenant since it was built, so it's not just modern but also is in 'as-new' condition - bathrooms, kitchen etc all completely fitted out. It has a ton of storage, there is plenty of car-parking without any restrictions on the road, and is a 2 minute drive from Caves, Murrays, and the Pacific Highway. There is even a cycle track at the end of the road to the surrounding suburbs. I am currently moving in, with a whole home's-worth of nice European furniture, all the appliances, fun toys etc - in general I am the opposite of 'cheap' when it comes to making a house into a home, and have always had a very happy home for flatmates when I have done this in the past.
