House Details - Very clean, modernised 3bdrm home with lots of storage space. Shared use of single bathroom with Shower over bath, separate Laundry and 2 toilets. Polished wooden floorboards throughout, split level home. There is a small front north facing veranda to enjoy a beverage while watching the sunset and large bbq patio out back. The yard is not fully fenced and is not suitable for pets. Small indoor pet i.e. fish ok. Strictly no cats. Lovely little yard/ gardens that I will keep maintained but if you enjoy getting into the garden you are very welcome. There is a garden shed, and space inside main garage available for parking motorbikes or to set up a small workshop, storage, gym… Plenty of car parking on quite service road as well as a little space off street. The house will be a little sparse on furniture so you are more than welcome to add your own touches in the common areas to make it feel more like home. Utilities included in rent - Water, electricity, gas, and (preferred) natural cleaning products. No internet or home phone is connected as I have my own personal travel devices. There is a phone port available, so would leave it up to you if you wish to have it connected (in your own name.) The rent estimated should cover average cost of utilities, but will be reassessed after a few billing cycles and discussed and adjusted if necessary. Unreasonable excess usage costs of utilities will be passed on solely to the tenant(s) utilising these services in excess and same goes if boyfriend/girlfriend/other are hanging out/staying too often. The Burnside area – The general area is relaxed with fabulous quiet neighbours on all sides. The house is only a 5min drive/20 min walk into Nambour town centre, two Convenient Stores close by, Nambour Hospital 5min drive, and Coles and the Nambour Train/bus Station 15 min walk or a short drive. Burnside is only 18km/20 mins drive to Maroochydore business hub; 19km/25 mins to the Sunshine Coast Airport; 24km/ 25 mins drive to beachside Mooloolaba.
The home is beautiful and spacious, and only a few short minutes stroll to lovely Woombye town. You would be sharing a house with two other professional people, one who operates a business from home, the other works shift work. Your room is large, and has a built in cupboard, and reverse cycle airconditioning. You would have use of the main bathroom, and have access to a spare room if you have guests or family who wish to stay on occasion. There are two resident small dogs, who live inside, but keep to themselves. Rent includes room, electricity, & water. A fortnightly house cleaner and lawnmower man is included also, however you are kindly asked to maintain the hygiene and cleanliness of your own room and bathroom to a shared house standard. The second room that is available has a beautiful walk in wardrobe, and has furnishings if you so need it. We are flexible with this arrangement and can remove if needed. A great little home situated just off the main street in Nambour. Close to all facilities and some great little cafes and shops. My home is spacious, airy and has a beautiful back deck which overlooks a beautiful garden area. Very peaceful and a great spot to sit and ponder,enjoy a quiet drink, read a book or be inspired. I'm a full time musician, which means I'm out days, sometimes weeks at a time. not every week, but it does happen. I also play gigs most weekends, which means I get home late some nights. If possible, I will need some storage space, possibly some of the garage, for all my gear. I like to keep to myself, working in my room as a recording/session musician, but I do enjoy a conversation. Pretty easy going as well. I don't smoke, drink, or make much loud noise, and keep everything I do clean and tidy. Hello everyone and Happy New Year! I have 1 room available from now in an old Queenslander that sits on a beautiful quarter acre of natural sub-canopy with a creek flowing through. You would be sharing with Smedley and Brad, Smedley is a 57 y/o floor sander who largely sticks to himself, and Brad is a plumber. The boys are also a point of contact as there is no one else living there apart from 1 cat, 1 cockatiel, 1 chook and a transient duck, And it makes sense to meet them when you check out the place anyway.. Pets would be considered as long as the existing fauna and lizards don’t suffer. For the double room it’s $150 p/w so $600 to move in, the room is unfurnished except for built ins. Power is in Smedleys name and would be split between all. There is no internet provided but you are welcome to sort that out between yourselves. I am the homeowner, currently living in NZ so most contact would made to my partner Jane who lives in Woodford. It’s a ‘shabby shack’ and we are tidying her up as we can afford, very well located just a few minutes walk to Howard St, and Nambour Plaza with the Community centre across the road, 18 minute drive to beaches. I am very quiet and likes to just stick to myself. Have a 13 year old boy and an 18 year old boy who would visit. My 13 year old boy may stay on the rare occasion but just would share my bed and he is very quiet too who likes to stick with his mum when visiting. I do have an indoor cat but if the place isn't pet friendly I would leave her with friends. She would only live in my room if it was pet friendly. Thanks
Seeking a property with a main house and separate bungalow...I'm happy to rent the main house, you rent the bungalow cheaper (or I'm happy to rent a granny flat if it's big enough for 2 as I have a young child & super friendly cat). Honestly don't think I could share an actual living space, as I do phone counselling from home and need the quiet during my shifts - and I wouldn't expect people to feel like they had to tippie toe around during those times. So separate roof situation is ideal. But I love the idea of sharing an outdoor permaculture-based edible garden, a communal art space, having the occasional cuppa tea in the backyard or an outdoor bbq under the stars with our home grown goodies - and possibly a free-form music jam if you sing or have instruments you like to play! Not a big drinker or party person, I so prefer a chilled person/people with a live-and-let-live attitude and you'll get the same respect back. Hobbies are hiking, beach days, exotic foods, Qi Gong, playing singing bowl, creating sand mandalas and other artworks. Needs: A separate phone line as I work from home as a phone counsellor through a professional call centre. Prefers non-smokers, no dogs as the cat and kid are scared of them at this stage (shame as I LOVE dogs). Moving to QLD in winter months, it was going to be March, but work's holding me back a few months more :)
