Hi! I'm Prashanth, a young professional making the move from Brisbane, where I've lived for the past 8 years, to Adelaide to start a new role. I'm a scientist by background and worked in research before making the move into newer territory with the aforementioned role. I love playing soccer and generally trying to keep fit but that competes with my general liking for nice coffees, good food and the occasional glass of wine or a craft beer. I also love going out to watch live music, quality films and sports. I also enjoy conversing about most things in the world. I'm well versed in the sharing game and have shared houses with all types of folks. I'm outgoing but understand the importance of personal space as well. I'm clean without being a clean freak and wash up after myself. I'm looking for a place in North Adelaide (mainly because of the convenient commute to my work) or its immediate surrounds. I'm moving at the end of the month from Brisbane and start my new job in the first week of July. Looking forward to chatting with you!
I am a 20 year old international student, originally from England and I will be coming to study in Adelaide in July 2017 for approximately 13 months. I am very respectful of people's different wishes and personalities and a general down to earth guy. I love a night out, but I equally love a night in playing XBOX, watching films or just generally socialising. I am into many different sports, so I am always up for watching them too.
I'm a final year law student at Adelaide looking for a social household with a laid-back atmosphere. It goes without saying that I know how to respect others' personal space. Looking for flexible length of stay but will probably stay till the end of the year. Do let me know if you have anything close to north east corner of CBD. Furnished room + Parking essential.
Hi I m Hannah from China, I come here for studying. I prefer places near the city and mates who are friendly and love different cultures. I respect everyone's private space and can keep the public space clean.

This is a perfect location for someone looking to live in the suburb but still wants to be close to the city. Plenty of fine restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and a cinema just around the corner. We are walking distance to the bus stops: no. 3 (North Tce), no. 3A (Magill Rd) and no. 4 (Payneham Rd). The house is already furnished. It's a gorgeous house with decent sized bedrooms, a large living area and a good size garden. The house is very close to the city, yet in a very quiet court. You'll be sharing the house with 2 other people, 1 being a 35-year-old female professional/student, the other one being a female PhD student. Very clean, tidy, friendly and helpful. At the moment one room is available. Price listed is including water, electricity and Internet.
Hi future housemate! I am looking for a house to move into. It is exciting times for me as im moving into the next chapter of my life. I am hoping to find a great house/housemate to add to my exciting new changes. I am 25 year old and lived in 5 different countries so I know a thing or two how to get along with diverse people and extremely open minded. I love to watch a movie or enjoy dinner together with my housemate but also enjoy my own relaxing time. Please if you think you have the perfect house for me, don't hesitate to send me a message.
My name is Bec and I am looking for a place to share close to where I work in Stepney. My current Rent Lease runs out at the beginning of July and I was hoping to spend less on housing by sharing a place, hence why I am here. About me, I am 30 years old. I keep to myself a bit. I enjoy going to the footy and going out for dinner with friends. I work FT Monday to Friday. I try and keep healthy but fail usually. I do like things to be clean, however I'm not a neat freak. I don't smoke and I can't be around cigarette smoke. I do love animals though and have no problem being around them! I would prefer to have my own bathroom (or shared with guests) Anything else, just ask :)
Name is John, 33 Irish and working full time Mon to Fri. Been living in Adelaide for over 5 and half yrs now. My lease is up come the 28th of July and I'm looking to Teamup with someone. I currently live in Walkerville and i work in the city so I'm hoping to get place around that side of the city. I have all my own furniture e.g. sofa, coffee table, TV and TV table, fridge, washing machine and my own bedroom furniture. If you have your own, can always make a second living area lol. I'm a clean and tidy person, im pretty easy to get along and i do respect peoples own time as we all need it from time to time. I enjoy keeping fit, riding my motorbike, riding push bikes and hanging with my friends. I would prefer to teamup with someone that works full time. I would be looking for a place with a lock up garage to store my motorbike in. If you are interested please send a message and go from there. Cheers, John
I'm an exchange student from the UK that will be studying at the University of Adelaide from July 2017 for a semester. I'm looking for a furnished room, with bills and internet included in the weekly cost. I'm a clean, quiet and friendly person.
Hello! My name is Krystle and I'm currently in my second year studying Radiation Therapy at UniSA (City East campus). I am looking live close to the city for study and part-time job! :) I like to live a clean, organised and punctual lifestyle but am super easygoing and friendly! I'm looking to live with other students and a place with parking (garage or street) since I have a small red car. :) I like learning new things and have come back from studying in Japan, so I speak Japanese! ^_^ I'm a full-time student and do extracurricular activities such as judo and aikido regularly on weeknights. My hobbies are drawing and cooking, especially baking! Thanks!
A little about me, I am 25 years old professional works in the city full-time. Apart from work, I am also studying towards my CPA. Looking for a place near the city. So, it will be easy for me to commute to work.
Hi, I'm Pasquale, an Adelaide native who's looking for a place to share with others who are respectful, sociable and easy going. I'm a clean, quiet, honest, reliable and easy going person who likes a chat and enjoys my netflix, movies, a good doco and a sleep in when not much is planned for the next day. I'm working part time in the city , so looking to move in to a place close to public transport around the north or eastern suburbs preferably, but will consider any location within 20 mins of the city. If you have any queries or want to have a chat, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Hi! I'm Sarah and I'm searching for a room for my cat Mouse and I. I'm looking for a sharehouse with a friendly communal vibe - I don't want to live with people I never talk to so let's be friends. I'm also looking for housemates who are considerate and tidy. I'm very clean, love cooking, and going to the gym (Goodlife members: let's work out together). Ideally, I'd like a decent sized room with floorboards (because asthma) and plenty of light, a backyard for my cat to chill out in (supervised of course), and that's pretty much it. Vegan housemates would be a bonus. Chuck me a message if you have somewhere you think I'd like. Thanks! (:
My name is Catherine and I am looking for a room to rent as close to Adelaide CBD as possible, available to move immediately. Originally from Russia, I am a Permanent resident in Australia since the end of 2015 and planning to become a citizen. Starting my new job at Women's and Children's Hospital, will be working rotating shifts. Have been doing nanny work before, and my background before coming to Australia is in HR -- I am planning to get back to it once I settle down here and sort out additional training and other things. I don't have a car, pets, don't smoke or drink, don't party, clean after myself, and don't have any furniture except for a queen mattress (+quilt and pillows). I am pretty quiet, like to have my privacy and don't bother others, but happy to chat, cook together or hang out in the outdoor areas. I am usually the tidiest person in the household (at least that was the case in all sharehouses I lived in), and every once in while will get in the mood to bake pies and cookies to share with everyone.
I'm Wies, 21 years old from the Netherlands and I'm going to be studying at the University of Adelaide for Semester 2 (focussing on gender and cultural studies). I like hanging out with friends, making music and just relaxing. I'm also interested in photography and I love animals!
I'm very friendly and outgoing......I'm a clean freak and I try to keep the place tidy all the time. I like to share house with 3-4 people so we could all have some fun yet not feel crowded. I'm originally from Sri Lanka. A full-time medical student and I work part time as a waitress all weekend. I'm hardly home most of the time but I prefer watching a movie once in a while with the housemates.
I'm a teacher from China. I like swimming, reading and chatting with people from different cultures. I'm neither a smoker not an alcoholic. My wife and son will go with me. They are also very nice people.
I'm looking for somebody to take over my current lease, which still has six months to go, at this wonderful place. Firstly, the rent comes to 163.4 dollars a week, all bills excluded. The room itself is not furnished once I move out, but I am happy to leave my furniture in the room just for a dime. The place in question is at a premium location having Botanic gardens right across the street. Adelaide uni and UniSA city east campus are both 10-15 mins' walk away so you don't even have to rely on public transport going to uni or the city. That said, North Terrace Stop 2 is 2 mins away giving you access to 174, B10, W90, 178s, H30, H33. In terms of facilities, this house has three big bedrooms (one of them will be yours), two bathrooms, a spacious kitchen, a front yard, a back yard and it comes with a central air-conditioning system. If you've got a car, there is a car park in the back yard, and off street parking is also available. The room you will be moving in is very spacious with two 2.5m tall built-in wardrobes. If you have got a lot of stuff, don't worry, there is heaps space. Feel free to have an inspection when you are nearby.
The house borderlines the city-- directly opposite botanic park. It's walking distance to the city (I walk through the botanic gardens to get to North Tce, takes about 15 mins) and by bike its under 10 minutes to East End/Rundle Street. We are right next to the Linear trail so it’s also a really nice walk or bike ride along the Torrens into the city. We are also really close to North Adelaide. Melbourne street is about a 10 minute walk. The house itself has a decent size garden and also a front yard. There’s a lot of greenery around the house. The room has ducted reverse-cycle air conditioning and double doors that open onto a balcony that wraps around the front of the house. It has a double bed, drawers, and a clothes rack. We also have Netflix and a BBQ. Rent is $210 p/w including all bills except water supply, which we divide between 3 of us when we get it.
I love to shout mad pizza and beer to my housemates , and I love to have fun and joke around. I'm really clean and I know when to give people space.
I'm an exchange student of university of Adelaide, from Japan. I am very friendly, easy-going and love to meet new friends. :) I'm looking for a room which includes bill and internet. I love cooking, watching movies and tasting wine. My exchange program will end at December 2017, but am planning to stay a bit longer if I can.
Hi, My name is Anais, I'm a French student coming in next July to study at UniSA. I'm looking for a nice room in a shared house. I am used to live with roomates, I've been living in a shared house for 4 years now with different persons. I look forward to know more about Australia and to share my culture with others !
Hello, potential roomy! :) With the lease on my apartment coming to a close, I've decided it's time to move on rather than renew - so now I'm looking for a nice place to call home. A little about me... I'm a friendly, easy-going guy that works in the media. I know the value in keeping home nicely organised and having lived in a share arrangement here in Adelaide and Sydney, I'm no stranger to living with others and know how to respect each others space and belongings. I'm the type of person that will pour you a glass of wine and ask how you're day has been after work, so hopefully, you like the occasional chat :) What I'm looking for... I'd love to find a place where people like to keep a high standard of living - preferably with other working professional/s - and really want to make a house a home. I'm definitely not looking for a uni house arrangement as I'm past the idea of raging house parties and stacks of dishes. A place located close to the CBD would be ideal, and as I don't have a car, I don't need any space for one so that's a bonus (hello Uber). I have all the furniture to populate a bedroom (and most of a house if needed), but if the place is turnkey ready, I'm happy to make arrangements and bring only what's needed! If you think I'd be the right fit for the sort of person you'd like to live with, it'd be great to hear from you. Happy housemate hunting :)
