Why do you want to move in to this grand old house: * Awesome location- close to transport, city, cafes, shops, pubs, parks and running tracks * Great price- this generously sized room has the BEST natural lighting of all the rooms in the house, big built ins and beautiful polished timber floors * Space, space and more space! It might seem a lot to live with 4 other people but this house more than accommodates! Huge kitchen where multiple people can cook simultaneously with ease. Massive dining and seperate lounge areas means theres no need to live in each others pockets * Enclosed front AND backyards- providing security, privacy and a green thumbs haven (we even have a veggie patch!) What we are looking for in a housemate: * House trained- someone who understands house sharing dynamics, common area courtesy and respect differing schedules * Someone who likes to do activities and socially interact- we like to do things together (it's definitely not a party house though) * Someone who is interested in living in a home not just a share house * Some furniture and house related items will win bonus points! We have most things but there are a few holes to fill. The house is massive and there is quite substantial storage so please feel free to contribute as much as you like! The new lease just started so, I am ideally looking for people to move in straight away. Rent can be paid weekly or fortnightly and all bills will be split evenly 5 ways (net/ water/ gas/ electricity). Bond is $700, an annoying outlay I know. Please feel free to ask any further questions- I'll do my best to answer as quickly and thoroughly as possible. If you like what you read and think you could be a good fit please send a little about yourself!! Jo :)
Our big old house in St Peters has plenty of space and charm. High ceilings, wooden floorboards, and a nice big green backyard with a couple of hammocks and a fire pit. It's just a few kms out of the heart of the CBD, close to the shops, local cafés, bustops, city Universities and the River Torrens. The streets are lined with beautiful trees and also have plenty of space for parking. The house is furnished, however, we are working on getting a new dining table and chairs. The bedroom itself is unfurnished. It is big enough to fit a queen bed, side tables, clothes racks, and could also fit a desk. It has a nice big window that receives the morning sunshine. Rent is paid fortnightly- bills are additional to this and are split evenly between us, bond is $520 and is to be paid prior to moving in. We are looking for someone who is respectful and reliable, who will pay bills on time with no hassles, tidy up after themselves, and do their share of cleaning. Serious stuff aside, we are a fun and sociable bunch and are looking for someone who will get involved with family dinners and the odd adventure. Smoking is okay, however only outside.
It's a gorgeous house with decent sized bedrooms, a large living area and a good size garden. The house is very close to the city, yet in a very quiet court. You'll be sharing the house with 2 other people, 1 being a 35-year-old female professional/student, the other one being a female PhD student. Very clean, tidy, friendly and helpful. At the moment one room is available. Price listed is including water, electricity and Internet.
Hello! My name is Krystle and I'm currently in my second year studying Radiation Therapy at UniSA (City East campus). I am looking live close to the city for study and part-time job! :) I like to live a clean, organised and punctual lifestyle but am super easygoing and friendly! I'm looking to live with other students and a place with parking (garage or street) since I have a small red car. :) I like learning new things and have come back from studying in Japan, so I speak Japanese! ^_^ I'm a full-time student and do extracurricular activities such as judo and aikido regularly on weeknights. My hobbies are drawing and cooking, especially baking! Thanks!
I'm a third year Law student at the University of Adelaide. I like my own space so I'm generally pretty quiet around the house, but I'm always up for random chats and watching movies. I'm relatively tidy, very respectful of other people's space, and I like to maintain a fit and healthy lifestyle.
Hello! I'm Imogen, I'm 19 and I am a full time student and part time worker looking for a snug place close to the city. I study Law and Arts and I'm always down for a coffee/beer and a chat! I love watching rom coms (ha ha) and weird art films with subtitles, catching up with friends, relaxing and spending time with my family. I'm quiet, I always pitch in with chores and spend most of my daytime out of the house either studying or working. I don't have a specific date of moving yet but would be interested in anything from July onwards! If you think we'd get along feel free to message me! :) Imogen
Hi, I'm Pasquale, an Adelaide native who's looking for a place to share with others who are respectful, sociable and easy going. Looking for, and am a clean, quiet, reliable and easy going person who respects one's privacy, but doesn't mind a chat. I enjoy my netflix, movies and a sleep in when not much is planned for the next day. I'm working in Unley, so looking to move in to a place around the close south or eastern suburbs preferably, but will consider any location within 10 mins of the city. If you have any queries or want to have a chat, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Hi! I'm Sarah and I'm searching for a room for my cat Mouse and I. I'm looking for a sharehouse with a friendly communal vibe - I don't want to live with people I never talk to so let's be friends. I'm also looking for housemates who are considerate and tidy. I'm very clean, love cooking, and going to the gym (Goodlife members: let's work out together). Ideally, I'd like a decent sized room with floorboards (because asthma) and plenty of light, a backyard for my cat to chill out in (supervised of course), and that's pretty much it. Vegan housemates would be a bonus. Chuck me a message if you have somewhere you think I'd like. Thanks! (:
I’m friendly, very clean and tidy, financial, and lead a healthy lifestyle. I’m a non-smoker, don’t take drugs, and drink only socially. This is a long-shot, but I’m a successful male escort by trade after spending three years at law school, and I’m ideally seeking a modern, self-contained and/or private living space, with a relatively open-minded housemate if it’s a shared property. My budget is $250–$350/wk and I’m happy to pay a premium due to my somewhat unconventional career. Most of my work is at my clients’ home or hotel, but approx. 2–5 h/wk would need to be at home. I’m sometimes interstate, and often out, etc. but do also enjoy my quiet time at home.
Hi guys, I'm a very easy going and friendly international student and I'm looking for a room. I'd like to find a place inner city in a house that I can feel at home instead of just an accommodation also become friends with my housemates. I am very sociable, but I also respect ones own personal space. I'm not a party animal and I work quite a lot, I don't mind a drink or two, a movie night, sharing dinners at home and wouldn't mind a party every now and then. But I'd rather live in a place where parties aren't held that often :). I'm also clean and would happily share the house chores. My budget is 150 with bills and would like to find a place in the suburbs I chose here. If you have a place, please send me a message :) Cheers
My name is Catherine and I am looking for a room to rent as close to Adelaide CBD as possible, available to move immediately. Originally from Russia, I am a Permanent resident in Australia since the end of 2015 and planning to become a citizen. Starting my new job at Women's and Children's Hospital, will be working rotating shifts. Have been doing nanny work before, and my background before coming to Australia is in HR -- I am planning to get back to it once I settle down here and sort out additional training and other things. I don't have a car, pets, don't smoke or drink, don't party, clean after myself, and don't have any furniture except for a queen mattress (+quilt and pillows). I am pretty quiet, like to have my privacy and don't bother others, but happy to chat, cook together or hang out in the outdoor areas. I am usually the tidiest person in the household (at least that was the case in all sharehouses I lived in), and every once in while will get in the mood to bake pies and cookies to share with everyone.
I'm Wies, 21 years old from the Netherlands and I'm going to be studying at the University of Adelaide for Semester 2 (focussing on gender and cultural studies). I like hanging out with friends, making music and just relaxing. I'm also interested in photography and I love animals!
I am going to be a student attending Carnegie Mellon in Adelaide for the year and I will be moving there from Seattle, WA, USA. I am a very tidy and easy-going person/roommate, and a hardworking student. I will be seeking a part-time job once arriving in Adelaide. I love hanging out, reading, hiking, and of course, netflix; along with sports such as soccer (football), lacrosse, and am going to try to understand more about rugby! I am very laidback and love me some nice cocktails or a glass of wine. I look forward to exploring Adelaide while not in school/working! **also that is not my dog, it is my friends... but I do love animals and am not opposed to any places that have cats or dogs (or other house pets)!
I have just moved back to SA after living in Vic and overseas the last 10 years. I am a full time teacher. I love being outdoors, travel, coffee, cooking and good food, as well as just chilling at home. During the week I exercise, work and am pretty chilled. I like having a beer/ wine/ coffee with housemates at times, but am definitely not looking for a party house. I am super clean, easy to get along with and have lived in many share houses therefore understand space.
I am a native of this fine city. My job is to turn paper into happiness. I am great to live with because I am open-minded (but closed enough that my brain stays in), reliable, funny, modest, and I can cook. I'm not real picky about fun as long as it's fun.
Hey, we're Holly, Zac and Parker (our beautiful pooch)! Holly is 25 and is the director of an Out of school hours care, Zac is 25 and works fulltime as a Youth Worker, and Parker is a 2 yo Hungarian Vizsla, a very friendly and highly energetic pup who is very well house trained. We are looking for either another person/s or couple to live with. Both of us have lived out of home in share accomodation for at least 5 years and have really enjoyed the people we've lived with over this time! We're an easy going, social, friendly duo looking for a nice and well kept place in the eastern suburbs with a reasonable back yard with some grass and room to run for our pup! Our budget is $180 each and we are looking to find a place around Sept. Some of our interests include food and wine, camping, rock climbing, hiking, spear fishing and snorkling/scuba diving, socialising, motor bike riding, music festivals, snow boarding and sometimes just chilling out with netflix haha We're interested in hearing from people who may have a place suitable or who might be interested in teaming up to find a place together. If we sound like a couple you might like to live with please don't hesitate to message us to meet up sometime!
The house is located in a great spot, being only a short 10 minute walk to Rundle street and a 5 minute walk to the Botanic Gardens! Lovely light filled living and lounge around with a nice small courtyard/grassed area out the back. The room is a great sized room and has a built in cupboard. There are citrus fruit tress in the front yard also which are lovely. My housemate and I like to have a laugh and are easy going people. We enjoy having wine and good food. The is not a party house! Looking for someone who is relaxed, easy going, reliable with rent and bills, tidy and happy to have a laugh!
Room available in a cute cottage home in Norwood. The house is on a beautiful street lined with cherry blossom trees & super close to the city. The house has great character with wooden floorboards & is in a central location very close to the city (20 min walk to Rundle St) & close to the Parade cafes/shops. The home is equipped with heating/cooling, dishwasher & space for on-street parking. The bedroom is currently unfurnished but can be partly furnished if need be. There is also some space for any living room/dining room furnishings & there is an extra room out the back that has the potential to be an additional living space. The backyard is quite large & has plenty of space for a veggie garden. I've made a poor attempt at one but there is definitely room for improvement for a housemate with a green thumb!
My name is Anuschka, I am an international student studying full time at the moment. I am responsible, friendly and easy to get along with. I like to live a clean, healthy lifestyle. I am a non-smoker, honest, open for a nice talk but also respect (and need my) private time, I am respectful (also towards other peoples stuff) and I would consider myself as a quiet and relaxed person. At home I am a photographer and social worker… what else... just ask me. ☺ I am about to extend my visa, so I am looking for a new home, which shouldn't be a party place. Do you have a friendly and clean home and are you mature and ideally 30+, is the rent not more than 150 Dollars included bills and do you think I could fit in with you? Just let me know. Would be a pleasure to come around meeting you! :-) I am flexible with the moving date, but I should let my current landlord know at least 2 weeks in advance if I move. My favorite suburbs are Norwood and surrounding areas but I am also open towards other areas not too far away from city. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks :-D
