Hi. I’m peter I work in the building industry and I like gin. (Actually I’m soon to return to my career in the building industry) I like to eat healthily and would like some space for growing herbs etc. I have common sense and would like a flat mate to have a modicum of some ? Maybe. ? A shed or workshop would be nice as I have some tools I would like to set up and use. To keep me sane I like making shoes. (This is still a work in progress)
I've recently moved back to Adelaide after travelling overseas and I'm looking for a share house.
Hi, I'm Brad. I'm outgoing, laid back and pretty easy to get along with. I enjoy socialising, a quiet beer but am happy to keep to myself. I'm keen on music and sport and I play footy, cricket and touch football. I'm a nurse working at Sportsmed and North Eastern Community Hospital where I mainly work during the day.
We are three full time professional females (aged mid-20s to mid-30s) looking for a fourth housemate for our 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom house in Norwood. Quiet street, very close to buses, walking distance to the CBD and to the Parade and all it has to offer. The room is a decent size but is unfurnished. The rest of the house is fully furnished. We have a spare bedroom which we use for storage and we also have a storage room out the back. You'd be sharing a bathroom with two of us. We have a gas stove top, dishwasher, central heating/cooling. We are looking for another professional to join our household (preferably female, but not essential). We would also consider a student with a part time job. We're looking for someone who is intelligent, clean, considerate and willing to contribute with household chores (i.e. putting out the bins, occassionally weeding the garden etc). Rent is $140/week. Internet and utilities not included. Internet is $15/month and we have a cleaner come in fortnightly for ~$14 each. We currently have two cars and a two car driveway, however if we became a three car household we would qualify for a street permit. This is also an excellent location for someone who works or studies in the city and doesn't have a car. LGBTQI friendly :) Non-smokers preferred. No illicit drug users. Sorry no couples.
Everything you're looking for in a sharehome! 15 minute walk to Rundle Mall, easy to catch a bus or cycle into the CBD. Less than 1km from East Tce and North Tce. Unlimited internet split three ways. Quarterly bills split three ways. The household itself is mostly furnished, although each bedroom will be empty so you will need furnishings there. One off-road parking space, plus on-road parking available with the purchase of a permit from the council. Of the three rooms in the house, two are large and available at $150 p.w., but I'm more than happy to rent someone the smaller room I'm currently in for $130 p.w. Larger rooms are 3.9 by 3.9m, and 3.6 by 4.5m, while the smaller is 2.95 by 3.9m. Technically have access to foxtel but it isn't currently connected. The shared area has air conditioning. High ceilings and wooden floors. The lease rolls over in February, with one housemate wanting to move out ASAP due to travel while the other is moving back home when the lease expires and doesn't mind exiting earlier.
I'm a easy going by nature and can be really helpful when needed to be, around the house. Baking and trying new dishes in the kitchen is a sure-fire therapeutic way for me to spend my time. I also love singing and playing the guitar, so feel free to have song dedications!! :) I'm really new to Adelaide and I might wanna go explore... but chances are that you'll find me either at the beach, at home, or strolling in the supermarket. Occasionally, I'd love having a drink or three over a good conversation :)
I am a very open, easy going person that is clean and respectful of others. I have a passion for life, spirituality and the environment. I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle, being creative and having fun!! I work full time (8-4) but always make the most of my weekends.
Hi people :) I'm looking for somewhere to chill (sleep, study and hang out) while studying at TAFE College of the Arts full time ( I got in!) and a University Foundation Course. I'm down-to Earth, tidy and hygienic, I'll keep to myself and I will be pretty busy with TAFE etc and hopefully a part time job!!, so I won't be at home all the time, but, I am friendly and like to chat with house mates while still being respectful of others privacy of course. I have lived in Waikerie, in the Riverland, for the last 5 years and even though I am young I have lived with a few different people so have learned that communication is vital to any relationship, so I highly value respect, and honesty, and appreciate boundaries being made right away (to be honest, it's just that I want to live with people that have commons sense and are respectful). I have had problems with a best 'friend' breaking my boundaries and treating me disrespectfully when living with them and I have learned from that and become stronger. I am a part of LGBT+ community (I'm Bi/panromantic and gender neutral at times, although identify as female) so of course am not judgmental/negative of things like that and I am also body positive and can't handle living with people who are constantly negative i.e my Grandmother ahah. We need to lift each other up, not bring people down! I also believe in equality for all and hate bullying obvs. I am a vegetarian and have to eat GF and dairy/lactose free and hope to pick up some hobbies while in Adelaide such as going to the gym, photography, dancing (?) also, possibly paintball/gun-ranging etc. I am also a fangirl (Dr Who, Harry Potter, Marvel/DC, manga/anime and some TV shows especially ones on NETFLIX!, so, if we live together and have commonalities it'd be cool to watch and discuss episodes together if y'all like and you may see some cool merchandise X,D) . I'm creative and musical (mostly singing, so I'll need to practice at home sometimes) and may want to get a keyboard and sound recording equipment in my room/somewhere eventually, but if that's an issue, we could work that out as I DEFINITELY appreciate quiet as well. I've lived with rowdy siblings/loud family for most of my life so I really do appreciate the quiet!! Oh, I love! cats but am slightly allergic/sensitive to long haired cats (I think XD; I get sinus from them if they, for example sleep on my pillow or if i pet them for too long), so basically as long as cats aren't in my room and the home gets vacuumed regularly I'm alright with cats :) and I'm also asthmatic so no smoking inside please. I cannot wait to finally be studying something which I'm interested in and be surrounded by a positive environment! I hope I find the right share house for me. Have a good day :') Toodles~
Hey, I'm an outgoing and friendly guy, respectful, and reliable with rent and bills. I'm currently studying winemaking at Adelaide Uni and work at a pizzeria/wine bar in the city. #leftovers I like the idea of 'teaming up', but also open to joining a house. Looking to make a house a home :)
Hi, I'm Kris, If you want a stable, sensible, neat housemate, who is an excellent cook and mixer of exemplary cocktails, look no further. I run my own business, whilst studying Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience full time. This keeps me quite busy and has me sequestered in front of a screen or book, or with clients and out of trouble for much of the day. I don't play loud music, and late, raucous nights are something that you do not need to worry about. I generally keep pretty fit, Running, riding, gym, various martial arts. If there is somewhere to install a small boxing bag, that would be just dandy. If there is a shed or space (about 4 square metres) available for my tools, I would be very happy. I am a capable gardener and handyman. I am looking for an unfurnished room, big enough to fit a queen double, I will also need room for a desk, bookshelves and a metric tonne of books... I may be exaggerating a little... maybe. Complimentary bonuses that come with my residence: Tools and someone who knows how to use them Regular kitchen knife sharpening Costco Membership Amazon prime video Leather repair service Jar opening and top shelf reaching services A green thumb (figuratively, not literally) The understanding ear of a professional counsellor Free cocktail making lessons A sparring partner in boxing, BJJ and MMA A free set of steak knives! * One, maybe two housemates would be great**, I am, however, severely allergic*** to drama, gangstas, kleptomaniacs, neurotics, regular illicit drug users, people who form opinions without checking facts, people who throw their phones, the highly religious, mean drunks, and bees**** I'm looking to move sometime in the first half of December, I have a couple of weeks wriggle room on the date. If this all works for you, and you are on the eastern side of Adelaide, within a stone's throw of Magill Rd, I look forward to hearing from you * While stocks last. ** Furry housemates don't count towards the total. Especially dogs. *** I break out in a serious case of NOPE **** Actually I'm not really allergic to bees, I quite like them... and their sweet sweet honey.
Happy New Year to you all. I am a mature aged man who is young at heart and fun to be with. I am seeking short term accommodation during February and March 2018 while I am in town for the Adelaide Fringe. Would prefer somewhere within walking distance to the city centre or handy to public transport. My exact dates yet to be confirmed, but will be approx. February 12th - March 20th. I would be happy if you have just a couple of weeks available in that period. I will not be home most of the time except to sleep and consume a morning meal, but would be nice to catch up with house mates either at home or at the Fringe. I am house trained, non smoking and considerate of others. All I need is a clean, comfortable bed in a reasonably quiet household. Cheers, Woody
Hi, I'm Satyajit. I'm 34 and I work full time as a Software engineer. I work 9-5 monday to friday, I like being busy in outdoor activities. I am non-smoker and have a restricted diet. My best drink is tea. I moved from India last year and have always shared a house with locals near the CBD. At present sharing a big house with George and James near Adelaide aquatic center. I do not like living alone so I am looking for teamup. I do not like moving houses, so anything long term would be ideal.
Hi everyone, I am currently looking for a new residence, as my lease is up in march, and I am looking for a change. I have enough furniture to deck out an entire house on my own, so ideally am looking to team up and find a new house to share with some nice peeps, either male or female, ideally under 30. I am also open to moving into an established house if the right fit comes up. A bit about me - I am 22 years old, and originally from Melbourne/country NSW. I moved over for university a few years ago and am currently undertaking my last placement before graduating in September. For my placement I am working full time at Penfolds Magill estate winery, hence the choice of suburb, as I would ideally be within a 20 minute driving range from work. I have lived in quite a few share houses, and previously attended boarding school for 6 years, so am well versed when it comes to sharing houses. I am quite a clean person, and love to cook. I am also a big fan of Netflix, wine, food, tea and music of all persuasions. I am not going to consider moving before February, as I cannot afford to pay x2 lots of rent for a month. So please do not ask me to consider anything before then. Looking forward to chatting!
I'm Lisa, 27, working full time in education. Looking to move anytime from Feb hopefully within 20-30 minutes of Lightsview (5085) as that's where I work. I'm mostly interested in beginning a new house (just as a preference) as I would like a decent yard for my 2yo pup Dutchess (who is house trained and very friendly). would prefer a place with my own bathroom and don'y mind paying a bit extra if it means i get a room with an en suite. Hoping to find people who are easy going and respectful. Feel free to contact me if you are interested Thanks :)
We are a married gay couple from Edinburgh, Scotland. We moved to Australia in December 2017 and are moving to Adelaide at the end of January due to visa restrictions on where we can work and live. I work in finance and my partner is a hairdresser. We are looking for sociable and friendly flat mates who are clean and considerate of others, just like us.
Hi! I am a PhD student and work as a tutor at the University of Adelaide. I am hoping to find a place to move into asap or happy to look into starting up a new share house close to the city. I am easy-going, respectful, friendly person and always up for a laugh, enjoy being social and having bottle of red :) Look forward to hearing from you soon. Cheers.
I would like to be thought of as “Helpful and kind, and one who encourages others!” I’m from Chennai, South India, having been at an International School, both as a student and teacher I’m familiar with those of a multi- cultural background! I love sport for leisure, Badminton, field Hockey, and like to learn how to stay fit! Not bad with Indian cuisine, and love to journal and read good books!
I am a primary school teacher who is allergic to cats. I feel like that's all the important information... I also own a very fancy washing machine.... I have noticed washing machines are a selling point! 😉
Hi, I am moving to Adelaide in March 2018. Looking for a room for a couple of month max before i get a place of my own. I like cricket, table tennis, music, movies. I am easy to get along with and like to keep things clean Would like to live with someone who is working in Adelaide! and can guide me a bit! Message me / I would like to know you and tell you more about myself! Regards Ali
22y/o Cocktail Bartender. Non-smoker. Doesn't leave a mess. Hard working. Pretty laid back. Positive vibes. Only eats veggies so you dont have to worry about me stealing your snacks.
quiet, considerate, friendly. I am looking for a quiet place with good vibes. I am a non-drinker, so I'll be happy to share a cup of tea at the end of the day. I am sociable, up for having a chat but not as a must. I like to live in a clean environment, but don't keep tidying up obsessively. I like to do quiet things in my spare time, like reading, meditating, watching films with my headset on, so places where the TV is the central 'altar piece' in the house and is always on, don't really suit me. I am a teacher working in the CBD.
Sensible guy who's studying full time and working part time. Reliable but easy-going and flexible. Happy to keep to my own space, but also love chilling out with other housemates over TV or a shared meal (I love cooking)!
Will be studying a Masters of teaching full time course at adelaide Uni. Friendly, clean and quiet, don't mind cooking. Happy to give people their personal space, I like to spend time reading and occasionally exercising but will happily socialize If I know someone well enough. Otherwise I prefer not to tread on other peoples toes. Will probably try to find some part time work for the first half of the year before teaching placements start, depends on how intensive coursework is. I don't mind who I'm living with so long as your friendly and respectful.
Hi! We are two graduates coming from Scotland to work at Adelaide Fringe in February and March and are looking for a place to stay during this time. We're relaxed and respectful, really friendly, and keen to experience as much of Adelaide as we can while we're here! Also willing to do team-ups with other people to find somewhere to stay.
I'm English and am in Adelaide as part of a year abroad programme for university. I enjoy playing sports, listening to music and love to cook. I am a sociable person but will always give people their space, just as I like to have my own. I have six weeks until university starts up again and so have put six weeks as a minimum term, but may be open to staying longer.
