The position is unbeatable. The ferry is literally 4 minutes walk away. It runs daily from 5.30am to 11.30pm. It's a great service. The beach is literally just across the road. The house is right next door to the kiosk and 200 metres from the Red Rock Cafe, great food and wine. There's always a breeze.
Easy going, can be social but like my own space too. I eat healthy and have a a healthy lifestyle. I work a 7:30am-5:00pm job Monday to Friday and also study fulltime at QUT so I won't be in the place much during the week. I also don’t smoke and can’t live with somone who does. I have a cat called Luna.
I am friendly and talkative, but I also like to give people space. Although I can be creative and cluttered, I do prefer to maintain hygienic and tidy environment for myself and others. I use up minimal kitchen and fridge space, I clean up after myself and others, I use headphones when listening to music or watching movies to reduce noise, and I take short showers to save water. I have lived with a diverse range of households with different lifestyles, from loud parties, to quiet living spaces. In all situations, good communication between housemates creates the best living environment. While I have no dogs or cats, I do have small terrarium animals (hermit crab pictured) that stay within my living space along with a few houseplants. Even though I am a little allergic to furry animals, I can handle living in households with a small number of dogs or cats.
Hello I am working five days a week, I am very reliable trust worthy and honest. I am a clean and tidy person and well mannered. I am great to get along with and easy to have a conversation with. I love pets and good with kids. I like to go shopping and see friends in my spare time.
Very easy going person always with a smile. Very active. When I'm not at work I'll either be sailing or refitting my yacht. Home is my place to relax and unwind my mind.
I'm Ash, I'm 22 years old and work full time. Looking for a room that can fit a queen size and a desk would prefer something with a built-in. Keen to live with people around my own age who don't mind socializing and having a drink or two. I'm clean and tidy and respect personal space. In my spare time, I enjoy keeping active and trying new things. No pets
No kids Tidy Business owner Fitness minded Outdoor type Respectful Driven Focussed Normal :-) Ideally looking for a team up from scratch with the right like minded easy going people. Alternatively, a larger property with a home owner of similar age.
Hey, I'm a 26 year old female who works full-time. I've moved back to Brisbane about a year ago after living and travelling in Europe for 4 years. I enjoy socialising but also respect personal space and alone time. I enjoy cooking and need to live in a clean house with nice, easy going people :)
My names courtney me and my partner have finally saved up and brought everything we need to move out, we are both outgoing and easy to get along with both work full time hours with steady incomes. I’m 19 in August and very mature for my age, love going shopping or just relaxing at home as being a hairdresser can be full on. My partner Calum is 19 in June, mature as well but loves being outdoors. He is a scaffolder and loves his job.
Looking for a place to rent in south-east Brisbane (I'll be working in Metro South, exact location not yet known I'll update in a few days!) 22 Year old male, I 'm pretty quiet, clean and tidy. I spent 2017 living with 2 female housemates who kept me in check! I also stayed with 3 other great housemates in Wynnum early 2018, however I left to North Queensland for a contract job for 3 months and my room's been filled! They'd be happy to provide a character reference though. I'm a bit of a PC gamer, and also play acoustic guitar (though I'll be sure to be quiet late at night/ if you're studying or need some quiet). I just got a job with the Queensland Ambulance Service in Metro South so am back in bris and looking for a place to stay!
Hi my name is Tracey, I am a 58yr old single woman. I am downsizing due to a change in my current circumstances, and looking to team up with a like-minded female around the same age to share the costs of a house, or a 3 bedroomed fully self-contained studio or granny flat with myself & my 2 Cats. I need to move in the next month or so as I am living with my son who is expecting theri first child and they need the room. I am a quiet, clean/tidy non-smoker, respectful of others privacy, while expecting the same in return. I am a happy extrovert, up for a chat & socialize from time to time, but am also happy to keep to myself. Not into constant or loud parties/noise. My cats are currently being boarded free of charge, but only for the short term; I would dearly love to have a place to bring them home. They are well-behaved, litterbox trained, desexed, adult female cats, which have their own outdoor enclosure (if space available or enclosure needed) are used to being indoors/outdoors but mainly indoors when I am home. They are quiet and not in your face, not used to big dogs, but may get used to a small quiet dog or another cat. I am currently receiving newstart allowance of $600 to $622(varies depending on Centrlink)regularly a f/night, plus extra assistance for living expenses while studying. I am enrolled in TAFE studying a Cert III in Business/Admin (medical) . I am also actively looking for work, in admin/reception as I prefer my own income / independence. I can afford a maximum of $190 week, towards rent with bills included, ie power, phone, internet). Will consider short term lease to start, all being well looking at extending to long term 6 monthes or more. Could you contact me by e-mail me if you have or know of anyone who may be renting a place, or wanting to team up. Thank you Tracey
Just looking for what might be out there, still living at home, do have a 1.5 year old bulldog that will have to come too! I work about 5-6 hours a day 5 days a week, love cleaning and living in a tidy space. Looking to live with people who are friendly and will have a chat, I'm a relatively introverted person.
We're all self-sufficient, non-smoking, employed individuals, looking to team up with or join an existing household. I personally (Daniel) only need a house until the 10th September, as I'll travelling overseas after this point, however Matthew and Alana, who are a couple and only require a room together, would be staying on. We currently have two dogs with us, both friendly, and all drive. Our current lease expires on the 5th of July, so we need to move before then.
I’m a single 40yr old trustworthy hard working honest male who works full time as a interstate truck driver so basically I’m away all week but home in the weekends looking for a place where everyone is chilled out and easy going I’m not a party person I don’t go out to clubs I hardly drink only if it’s a special occasion I don’t do any drugs whatsoever I’m a family orientated guy who puts his family first I’m always on time with rent and bills if you need to know anything please let me know cheers
The community: Overall this is a nice complex to live in, I know the managers well and they look after me and the property. It is a quiet street. Located in Victoria Point, this home offers off street parking, secure gated community with access to two pools and BBQ areas. Both pools are within walking distance from this unit. Friends and family are also able to swim here, as long as they are accompanied by the tenant residing on premises. This gated community is within 10 minutes walking distance to Bunnings, Medical Centre, Woolworth's supermarket, chemist, takeaway stores, barber salon and a few other shops, there are even more stores within 5 minutes driving distance across the intersection. Basically, there are lots of shops very close to this complex. There is also the Victoria Point Tavern and Sharks within 10 minutes either side of the complex if that is something you would like. If you are into exercise, you can go for a walk toward the cricket nets and the oval. Approximately 15 minute walk towards a major shopping centre, you have access to a bus terminal as well which go to all suburbs locally. McDonalds, KFC and one other fastfood restaurants are all 10 minutes drive away. The room: A double sized room which would house a queen sized bed, desk if you have one and a chest of drawers. I have a single bed stored here which I could make available to furnish the room with a bedside table if needed, I just need a mattress, however if you could provide one that would be great. As shown in pictures, there is a double wardrobe with built-in shelves if you don't have any drawers. The room has A/C which would be absolutely brilliant when we have heat waves. You have the full use of your own bathroom; own toilet, there is also Foxtel port in this room, any installation would be at your cost only and your responsibility for any bills. Short term/long term welcome, ideally I'd prefer someone long term however am open to short term. The window overlooks the street in the complex, not the main road, and there are vertical blinds for privacy. There is off street parking right in front of this unit, or there are visitors parts close by the other tenants can also use. However, the park in front of the unit is for another tenant while I have the garage. The House: is fully furnished 3 Bedrooms upstairs, one is obviously mine with an en suite, another one is my study which has been a work in progress as I only moved in here last February. I am a Scentsy Consultant and work for myself cleaning houses. Downstairs, kitchen with all cooking amenities, oven, flat stove top. Lounge and separate dining room, have dining table and a small fishtank. I do cook a bit, prefer not to eat There is a small backyard with table and chairs, herb pot plants and a few other random potted plants. While I am not a green thumb, I do like to have greenery around. About me: I am 35, as said above, work as a cleaner supporting myself in this seemingly expensive to live in world and I am trying to launch myself as a Scentsy Consultant. I have a small friendly house trained dog who is almost 2. She is very protective of her surroundings and me, however she is incredibly friendly once she knows a person and will probably try to greet you every time she sees anyone. I discourage barking, she is kept inside from time to time when I go to work, as I work 10 hours a week mostly (due to medical reasons, I am home a lot a few days during the week) but I often take her nearby to my family's house to be looked after when I do go to work. I am looking for a honest, clean, non-smoking, working professional with a sense of humour seeking a quiet place to call home. I can't afford to pay other people's expenses because I struggle enough as it is to pay my own, however I still manage and I really need someone who can pay their own way. I also would like someone whom can offer personal space and doesn't mind silence, but also who can have a chat! Expenses: The room is $190 if you are single, with two weeks rent as bond. For couples it is $150 each with two weeks rent EACH as bond If for some reason rent can't be paid one week, that is what I will use it for. However, the two weeks will be refunded to you when you exit minus any damage costs if you incur any. If you can't pay rent at all and use up the two weeks, I will be asking you to leave. Added expenses are just electricity and gas so far, to give an idea of the cost, last bills I had with power being $48.70 and gas being $22, it was quite cheap and although sharing would obviously incur slightly additional charges, having two people would naturally make the cost cheaper. I used my air con during the heat wave a lot at night, very hard to sleep in the heat which was almost like a sauna. The power bill was still the cheapest I have ever had and could actually afford it. At this stage, due to not being here very long, I have not yet got WIFI...this is something I am looking into in very near future. It would not be included in rent though sorry, I need someone willing to share it, internet can get expensive as well. I am looking into an unlimited deal very soon for as cheap as possible of perhaps $20 a week each hopefully less. Please ask me any questions, have tried to include as much information about this place as possible. If I contact you, please reply, even if it is a no! I am really keen to get a housemate! Thank you for reading. 😃
I've been living in this tidy 3 bedroom townhouse in Thornlands since August last year and am moving out to live with my partner. My friendly and easy-going housemate Cass is staying on, so am looking for somebody to take my place on the lease. There are two bedrooms available - the larger room with the balcony for $140 and the smaller room for $130 per week. Alternatively you may rent out both rooms for $205 - this is what I have been doing as I've needed an office space. The house has plenty of light, fresh air and overlooks a grassy park over the road. You'll have use of the main bathroom, which has both a shower and bath tub. If you opt to rent both rooms, this bathroom will be for your exclusive use. There's a NBN FTTP (fibre to the premises) connection in the garage and wired ethernet throughout the house. We don't currently have an active plan but is easy to set up. The townhouse is only about two-and-a-half years old, is light and bright, has garden beds along two sides of the house and is part of a quiet and well-maintained complex. I've enjoyed living here so far. Drop me a line if you'd like to know anything further! Cheers,
I own a large 5 bedroom house with two rooms available to rent. Electricity included in rental price. Wifi and Netflix available and included in rent. Good kitchen, gas stove, dishwasher, washing matching, dryer and pool table. Easy going household. Sorry I don’t allow pets inside.
The unit is approximately two and a half years old in a complex that is located close to Victoria Point shops (walking distance) and has a bus stop on the main road. The Larger room is $140 has a balcony overlooking the park and the smaller room is $130 or alternatively you can rent out both for $205. The bathroom will be shared with one other if I can fill both rooms. The bedrooms are unfurnished, I will also be buying a new lounge and entertainment unit in the coming month or two.
