I live in relatively large 4 bedroom new house. The bedrooms are carpeted, whilst the main living areas are tiled. I am 2-3Km from the main shops at Kippax, 7km from Belconnen, 9km to UC and 18km to the ANU. The house is equiped with air-conditioning, heating, bbq area and a larger than average lockup garage allowing car storage. Whilst the shower, powder room and toilet are listed as shared, I have a ensuite and unless there are visitors over, the shower/toilet amenities will be yours to use. The house is equiped with relatively good quality appliances (mainly Bosch) - this includes a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, etc. Currently, it’s me and a flatmate (19 year old, quiet, female university student) living in the house. My main bedroom is at the front of the house. The spare bedrooms that you can have (unfurnished) is on the diagonally opposite corner, next to the existing flatmate’s bedroom. Bills (within reason) are included in the rent and so is 1 covered car spot.
** I’m overseas until Jan 27, 2018 - shoot me a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can :) ** Situated on a quiet street opposite parkland is this modern 3 bedroom home. Located 5 minutes drive from Kippax Shops (Woolworths, Kingsley's Chicken, Aldi, Post Office etc.) and 10 minutes drive from Westfield Belconnen. Your room is located at the rear of the house with direct access to the living/dining and kitchen areas. Mounted to the wall is a LCD TV, Bose sound bar, and Apple TV for your enjoyment. Great news if you enjoy a sleep-in! Being at the rear of the property means you are shielded from the morning garbage truck noise each week. A double built-in wardrobe with sliding doors is all yours to hang clothes etc. Shared use of a new Bosch front-load washing machine and Fisher and Paykel dishwasher drawer, and fridge is included. Enjoy ducted reverse cycle air conditioning with motorised vents that allow you to control the airflow to your room. Kick back with unlimited super fast fibre-to-the-premises NBN via the enterprise grade WiFi access points. Free use of Netflix and Stan for entertainment. Simply swipe your iPhone screen to raise or lower your motorised window blind. Never worry about losing front-door keys again with the fingerprint/tag door lock system. Safety is important, that is why the home is fitted with a remote intercom system so you can let guests in the front door from your end of the house. Finally, 5 security cameras keep a watchful eye over your car and the backyard for those nights when you have the house to yourself. You can even view them on your iPhone! - Don't worry, it's not a drug house or bad neighbourhood.. I just like gadgets. Rules are pretty simple. Be respectful of each other's privacy and belongings. Be courteous and considerate when making noise. Keep shared areas clean and tidy. And don't be afraid to shout out if you need a hand with anything :)

Looking for a home for myself and my Kelpie Beau, we are moving back to Canberra after living in QLD. I have a job transfer with work full time Monday-Friday as a Case Worker. I adopted my dog Beau from the Animal Welfare League, he is 6 years old and is my running buddy. He would prefer a backyard to chill in during the day (doesn't need to be a big space) and prefers to sleep with me inside at night if possible. Happy to negotiate options, for example in my current home Beau sin't allowed in the living room which has new carpet and he understands this rule. We both have references too. Beau is a super friendly dog and loves cuddles with everyone. He is very well behaved, he is not destructive and loves the company of other furry friends. I enjoy spending time outdoors running, hiking and camping. I am social and love a chat, I am neat and tidy and happy to contribute to cleaning the house regularly. Please get in touch if you think your place might suit! :) Cheers Gemma.
NS/ND who would like to live in a quite place in the belconnen area. I'd prefer to live with an owner (the inherent stability), or longer term stay, and I'd prefer an all inclusive rate. thanks

I’m a 23 year old South African, from Johannesburg. Been in Australia for 4 years studying a bachelor of law at UC. I’ve live in shared student accommodation so I’m respectful of people’s space, clean up after myself and always up for socialising. Ideally I would like to move into a place that has an already furnished room but if it's not, that's okay :-)
I am a university student in my final year of study at the ANU. I work part time in Belconnen so I am pretty busy throughout the week and on weekends I am usually stuck in the books with assignments and study. However, I try to still be a social person by getting outside and exercising or catching up with a few mates. I am a very tidy person and I am respectful of other peoples space and would expect that in return. I am looking to find some easy going people that don't mind having a beer in a place that is close to either work or uni. If you would like to know anything more about me just flick me a message. Cheers
I'm looking for a place and people that will be fun and cool to hang out with but also respect my privacy and space. I'm a pretty clean person so don't like when the washing up is left for 5 days at a time but also won't yell at you if you leave your clothes laying around. I'm young and looking for people I can do things with, I don't mind having a drink after work sometimes so if you love a wine you'll love me!
Hi there! I am a student moving to Canberra for 1 year to work while completing a postgraduate degree. I love animals but sadly will be leaving my dog at home. I am typically a quiet person when at home who prefers to relax by going outside or watching videos/movies. I clean up after myself and enjoy gardening and adding some green touches! I prefer to cook my own meals at home most of the time but do enjoy going out to try new places to eat. I will have a busy schedule so wish to find a place that is calm and quiet. Hope to be in touch soon!
My place is a little 3 bedroom, early 90's brick house. Located in Dunlop (near the border), a 5 minute walk to the bus stop and only a short walk to the closest park or small lake. There are many shop choices including Charnwood, Kippax (in Holt) and Belconnen westfield. There is off street parking, we are also in a close so there is minimal traffic. There is 1 bathroom/ toilet (seperate) and the choice of 1 of 2 rooms both reasonably sized, carpeted with built ins. Internet is soon to be Nbn but is currently adsl which you can use to your hearts desire. There is 1 dog (German shepherd, very friendly, only comes inside at night and sleeps in a crate) and 2 cats (also friendly, only indoors). I'm open to discussion regarding more pets.
It's a nice space (at least i think so). It's comfortable in summer and winter with ducted heating and cooling. Fully furnished room with queen bed, side tables and lamp along with a study desk. With the exception of the bed, all other items can be removed at your request. It's very close to shops and a short bus ride to Belconnen mall (actually you can walk there in 45mins), Canberra University and ANU. It's about 25-35 mins by bus into Civic depending on the bus route. There is an outdoor space with bbq for entertaining and relaxing and space for growing veg if you are into that. I have Netflix and wifi that you can access for an additional charge. I can include Netflix, wifi, electricity and water for an extra $30 a week (which you won't have to pay if you're away). Happy to negotiate rent in exchange for set house cleaning on a weekly basis as agreed by us, and/or occasional babysitting as the need arises.
My house is located in very end of Higgins near Southern Cross Drive. Only a short bus ride or drive to Belconnen Mall. 15 minutes (or less) bus ride to UC, 20-30 minutes bus ride to ANU. 2-5 minutes walk to a couple of bus stops and many options to go to Belconnen or Civic by bus. It’s very close to Kippax shopping centre for your groceries. A fully furnished room is available for rent. The room has a ceiling fan, a large window, built-in wardrobe, a single bed, study desk and chair. A perfect setting for a student. The house has ducted gas heating and air conditioning. You will share the main bathroom and toilet with my two children but located next to your room. You are welcome to use my kitchen, utensils, laundry and one of our fridges for your food. The rent includes all energy bills and unlimited internet data. We usually have a movie night on Friday for you to join! We have fish and a dog who is extremely friendly and mostly lives outside.
This is a 3 bedroom house. It is fully furnished, including kitchenware. There is off street parking. The double garage is fairly full and locked, but some things can be stored in there. The master bedroom (yours) has a king-size bed, wall mounted television and direct access to the only bathroom. There is no internet, but you may install and manage it if you wish. I pay a gardener to mow the lawns regularly. My input to utility bills (gas, water and electricity) is negotiable. The weekly rent is also negotiable to the right person. Your privacy will be respected, but I will insist that the house, bathroom and kitchen are kept clean.
