Hey folks I'm 24 and my name is Ty! I currently work part time as a Bartender/Waiter at Bellavista Restaurant where I've been for 2 years, and will be resuming full time work around February. I'm a very sociable and comfortable person to live with, however respect other peoples personal space and often like to enjoy my own, I'm a big reader and love writing. I clean up after myself, pay rent on time and all that good stuff. I'm preferably looking for long term stay, 6 months at least. Somewhere close to Belconnen! The atmosphere of the house I'm moving into is important to me, I enjoy living with lovely down to earth people of all ages! Some of my other interests include camping, snowboarding, music, art and just spending time in the company of good people! Thank you, Ty

My name is Vivienne and I have recently moved to Canberra from Sydney- I'm looking for a nice place to wind down after work that is also relatively close to shops! I like food, TV, dogs and being active (sometimes).
Hello! Moving down from Brisbane in early January to start a new APS job/ study part-time at ANU. Ideally looking for a house that is more than a financial transaction. Someone/People to hang out and explore Town with etc. But also totally understand those people who want to respectively sit in silence in their own rooms reading Harry Potter with a face masque. In terms of living together, I have lived in pretty much every type of share house situation now. So sharing chores, communal cleaning and respect are ingrained values. I am flexible on: - Start Date, - Length of Stay, - Room Type, - Bathroom situation and - Suburb. Let me know if you have any questions! Will/
This room is for people who like their own space. You live on the ground floor. My wife and I live on the top floor. The ground floor has its own bathroom and kitchen which we don't use. Beautiful back yard with chickens which lay fresh eggs every day. Only 100 metres to bus stop which goes to Belconnen (route 44 Action bus) and straight to City (route 744 Action bus). Alternatively the Blue Rapid goes along Southern Cross Dve which is walking distance.
Looking for a housemate to share with a 25yr old female and two dogs (a terrier and a husky x) in a house in Wright. Directly across the road from Stromlo, it's an amazing location if you like hiking or mountain biking. 10-15 minutes away from all the major town centres. You'd have your own bathroom and parking space in the garage, and there's also extra storage room in the spare bedroom/space to turn it into a study. I'm looking for someone neat, tidy and sociable. Love a glass of wine and a chat after work and the occasional TV binge. Bonus points if you have an excellent sense of humour and appreciation for bad puns. House is connected to the NBN which is included in the price, with all other bills and utilities split evenly.
This reasonably sized granny flat is completely separate from the house, no common walls. It's quiet, and private. It has got one bedroom, a separate living area with kitchen facilities, and own bathroom. There is a bus stop in front of the house, it's a 10 minutes walk to Kippax, 7 minutes drive to Belconnen Centre and the University of Canberra. There is a big yard with potential of having your own vegie patch. I am looking for a tenant who is quiet, honest, employed and reliable. My husband and I are quiet and easy going grandparen
Looking for housemate for a single room to share with us (3 people, all full time employed in age of 20-30), brand new house, brand new furniture, fully furnished with Air conditioning, fiber NBN wireless internet, laundry, bed, desk, storage and everything. All bills included! Just sharing bathroom and toilet with two clean and tidy guys. 10 mins drive to uni. 1 min walk to bus station, long term prefer but short term is also welcome.
A large two-story share-house featuring 4 bedrooms, each with their own locking doors and a newly renovated, shared bathroom and toilet. The rooms are in their own quarter of the house joining a spacious common area complete with an HDTV, PS3, Netflix and Stan, all free for anyone to use as their own. The area is furnished with comfy lounges to create a warm and welcoming area for everyone. The space also connects to a very large kitchen that is shared between everyone. Behind the common area lies a huge yard and outside area, with double-glazed windows that let in heaps of afternoon sun, but keep the house insulated through summer and winter. The house also features central heating. All bills are included as well as unlimited internet and, of course, access to above mentioned services like Netflix and Stan. We encourage people to use their own devices as well, and will respect them as we do our own. Rooms can come furnished if required. The below link shows 3 bus routes from the house, through Belconnen and UC, to ANU and the city center. http://tinyurl.com/japl78y
Hey all, I am a pretty going person. Not overly fussed about the noise. I do my fare share of the cleaning and maintenance in the house. Moved to Canberra to study at the ANU. I am working part-time at the ANU as well. Originally an expat kid, grew up in Japan and lived all over Asia/Australia. Currently learning Arabic, but can speak few other languages as well. I love the outdoors, and I go hiking almost every second weekend. I don't mind pets, so that's a non-issue for me. Send me a message if you have place. Cheers
Hey! I'm Soraya - I am looking for an fun share house to move in to at the start of 2017, pretty flexible on time really. I am a social worker. I love to socialise, relax and have a few cheeky drinks. I would like a house where housemates spend time together as well as respecting each others space. I think I am easy to live with because I am quite laid back and easy to get along with! I am clean (but not crazy about it). I have a 3 year old english staffy named Dudley. He is very well trained and loves humans! We are a package deal, so housemates will need to be dog people.
I'm neat, tidy and can make some mean banana bread. Full time student studying to become a highschool teacher!
I'm a considerate housemate that keeps mostly to herself but likes to hang out as well. I enjoy baking when I can find the time. I enjoy historical dramas and pop culture sci-fi.
We both love reading, animals, basketball, swimming, the odd social drink, movie nights and baking. Looking for easy going people to live with. Will be studying and working part time. $150 each or a little bit more providing utilities are included.

Great for young professionals wanting to live/work close to Woden/the City (only 10 mins drive). An unfurnished room is available in a spacious, three-bed room, two-storey town house. The room is quite big, with built-in-robe and own bathroom. The house has NBN, and a private pool for the complex. Please note the rent does not include bills, and all bills (electricity/ gas/ internet) will be split equally. About us - You'll be sharing with two amazing housemates (ha!). First housemate is a 29 year old working full time and studying her Masters. Second housemate is a nurse in her mid-20s, and recently moved from Sydney. We're both fairly chilled and definitely not party animals. Some nights we watch the latest thing on Netflix, while other nights we are happy to keep to ourselves. We are both very clean and like to keep the place tidy. I'm also a non-drinker and a vegetarian and would ideally prefer someone who is similar, or is respective of this in the house. Lastly, we have an adorable (yet slightly crazy) cat - therefore no other pets will be allowed. We're after a female housemate who is responsible, honest, tidy and respects other's privacy and space. If you'd like to know more, please get in touch and we can arrange a time for me to show you the house. In your msg please also tell me a little about yourself and what you're looking for in a house and a housemate. :)
Hi Everyone I am looking for a flatmate to share with me, in the 2 bedroom unit in Hawker after 15 December 2016. If you are interested please feel free to send a message. We would equally share the rent and electricity. The rent will be $600 per fortnight twin shared as in the tenant moving in and I would have to pay $ 300 each for rent, every 2 weeks. The unit is a 2 bedroom unit, with bathroom (shower over bath), vanity, toilet, front loading washing machine, modern kitchen (electric cook top, fair bench space, cooking utensils/pots and pans provided, share fridge, sufficient sized living area, electronic heater, balcony overlooking Hawker shops )(unit is 2 blocks from Hawker Shops). Unit is very close to transport, comes with undercover allocated unit car parking space, multiple clothes line to hang washing and storage room behind car space. All a new flatmate would need to bring with them is a bed, their own linen, desk if a student and personal belongings. The bedroom can easily fit a large single bed. bed side table, desk if need and has more than adequate storage space for clothes etc. I will clear the room and have it spotless once a suitable tenant is found. These items are already in the unit and will be shared (fridge, cooking utensils (pots/pans), dining table, coffee table, television, bathroom, half rent and half electricity bill. I am a professional and a fairly layed back, easy going and kind person that is respectful, polite, well mannered and easy to get along with. I am moving out of the unit in mid 2017 with my partner and I will be more than happy to give the tennant my furniture and utensils for a very low price as a package ( queen sized bed, bedside table, 3 seater lounge, fouton, fridge, washing machine, cooking utensils) as it is not required at my next rental. I would prefer a student/professional who is kind, easy going, cleans up after themselves . The unit is less than a minute walk from the nearest bus stop, which goes direct into Belconnen, University of Canberra, Australian National University, City and is less than a minute walk from Hawker Shops ( which has a Supermarket, Post Office, Newsagent, Pharmacy etc). The unit is available for a new tennant from 15 December 2016, but I would like to find a suitable tenant as soon as practicable. If your interested feel free to send me a message. Excellent view over balcony Unit is on 2nd level of unit block Comes already furnished just bring a bed Clean and tidy unit with modern kitchen Designated Parking Spot Close to amenities and transport
