Nothing special need to mention about me. As long as you know me you will find out. I am your future share mate, present share mate and continue until one day......
Currently working fulltime at Deakin Waurn Ponds, I work night shift my hours are 11:30pm - 7:30am. I play music In a band in my spare time an like to hang around home an chill with my friends. I sleep during most of the day during the week and am pretty quiet, if I'm not at work or sleeping im usually playing music or just chilling out watching a movie.
My partner and I are looking for a place to live. We enjoy a good laugh and a chat (but also respect your privacy). About us: I'm studying to be a teacher (early childhood education). I'm originally from Queensland and have traveled a lot before moving to Tasmania. I enjoy anything to do with nature, art and science fiction. Joe works professionally in the disability support sector and studies public health. He likes music, technology and a nice cuppa. He's a true local and has grown up in Hobart. If you're interested please don't hesitate to contact us :)
Hi, I'm Mitch. I'm moving from Canberra for a while to work with the Department of the Environment in Tassie. I'm neat, tidy and friendly. I play a bit of music and I love to get outside and be active. I'm into soccer, squash and hiking. Also looking for new friends and things to do when I get to Hobart!
I'm new to Tassie. Looking to set up a nice home with good people and get to know Hobart. I love to cook, read, chat and be outdoors. I'm clean, tidy and independent and I pride myself on an ability to get along well with all sorts of folks.
Hi I have recently moved back to Hobart after living here previously during uni. I am employed full-time in the Hobart region as a social worker. I have high standards of cleanliness and consideration and I am looking for a clean and warm place to rent, preferably with off-road parking. I am happy to keep to myself, but also happy to socialise if we share interests. I love food and I am enjoying trying out all the amazing cafes and restaurants Hobart has to offer. I also enjoy exercising (gym, swim, walking, rock climbing, team sports), bush walking, exploring Tasmania, reading and watching movies. I hope to hear from you. Jess
I'm a graduate student in geology from Canada coming to Hobart for a month (this July) to do lab work at U Tas. I'll probably be pretty busy but I'm hoping I'll still have time to experience Hobart and the surroundings since this will be my first time in Australia. I'm quiet and tidy, and I don't have pets but I'm ok with living with people that do.
Hi there, I'm a friendly and relaxed person who's inclusive and accepting of others. I can pretty much get along with, talk with, and have productive relationships with anyone, even though I prefer quiet and alone time. I don't have much time for excessively opinionated, bigoted or domineering personalities. I like clean and tidy shared spaces, although I'm not OCD about it =) I'm Dog friendly; Dogs are the best people generally... I'm Cat allergic though. I share care of my little girl, although she would not be staying with me; hence needing somewhere close to her in Lenah Valley. She is an 11 year old little Pug Dog girl with special needs. I'm 'differently abled' [I think the modern term is] but do pretty much everything on my own, it simply takes me a little longer than others. Level access is ideal or only a few stairs at the most if unavoidable. I no longer drive and use a powered wheelchair for longer distances. I'm vegan because of care for all sentient people, but not a fascist about it, and have Buddhist leanings with a meditation practice and go on meditation retreats away when I can. I like a warm, friendly environment, and work towards making it so. Ideally I'd like somewhere I can set up a painting space. What else? I'm mostly an ex-I.T. professional [in business, contracting and govt], and an ex-public servant [not I.T.]. I have degrees/qualifications and industry certifications from my previous careers, but these replace neither common sense nor doing your best to be kind to others =) Righto, that's about all I can think of. I'm interested in starting a share house at a rental that's just popped up in Greenway Ave, Lenah Valley, as it's metres away from my little girl, whom I visit and care for most days. Thanks, John

The available bedroom is on the lower floor, 4.25x2.7m in size, unfurnished (apart from the built in desk) and has views over Hobart.
