One room in a gorgeous modern house available in Crace. The house is a four bedroom, two bathroom house; sharing with two mid-twenties ladies, two dog and two cats. The pets are part of the family so loving animals is an absolute must 🙂 Bills and rent are split evenly. The house has effective heating and cooling, NBN wifi, dishwasher in the lovely open kitchen and is totally furnished except for the bedroom. It is only a ten minute walk to Crace shops where you'll find a great supabarn, two cafes, a gym, a bar/restaurant, hair salon, massage parlour and takeaway. Ten minute drive to Gungahlin and Belconnen and fifteen to Civic. The neighbourhood is a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood with lots of parks and a running/ walking trail that goes right past the house. Our street only has houses on one side of the street, with the other side an open park. This makes it a very quiet place to live with lots of parking.
I’m a working female on shifts as a stablehand at the racecourse and studying Horticulture online. I’m looking for somewhere suitable, preferably near work, to live for myself and my 1yr old cat for a minimum of 6 months to maximum of 12 months. I’m straightforward, outgoing and social but very respectful of personal space. I enjoy going out to explore just as much as I like staying at home to relax but I usually just go with the flow. I have a variety of interests but all outside of home or in my own room. I rarely drink as morning shifts are early and I don’t smoke. I like to keep my things clean, tidy and more than happy to fit in with a weekly cleaning routine for the general living areas. I have shared house before a few times as the landlord and as the tenant/sharer. I can also supply references for myself and my cat. She is pictured above and is a small indoor cat. She’s well behaved, a little shy at first but friendly with other people and animals and has had all her vaccinations and desexing done. She’s lived with a dog since a kitten without any dramas. The dog in the picture does not live with me anymore. I have a police check available if needed, I had to do it for work anyway. I do have two young children but I visit them as they live in Newcastle.
The 6 bedroom unit in Crace is in a perfect location, with 5mins drive to Gungahlin Place, 10mins drive to UC and Belconnen Mall, and 15 mins to the city. It is located 2mins walking distance to the bus stop There is a common area including a spacious kitchen, a sitting room and laundry, and also a small backyard, which is nice in summer. The house has a big fridge and a freezer, central heating and cooling system. Your bedroom has a wardrobe, a king single bed and desk etc. You would be sharing two toilet and one bathroom with 4 other housemates. Please Send me a message if you would like to come for an inspection:) Sorry no couples. pet free and smoke free house
Oh hey I’m Becca 👋 Currently living with the folks but planning to move out once the uni semester finishes up. Looking for a place to live that won’t send me broke! Most days I'm usually up early to hit the gym and work keeps me busy during the day. My party days a loooong behind me but I enjoy catching up with friends for the occasional Friday night drinks, BBQ or girls night (which are never big nights). I also enjoy a chilled out night on the couch (binge) watching Netflix too. The kitchen is one of my happy places - I like getting creative with my cooking and baking. I also like to do roadtrips, lake walks and brunch on the weekends. I thought I would give the share house thing a go - might give me a chance to do some solid saving over the year (for more holidays!) and get to meet some friendly new people along the way.
A room is available in the beautiful suburb of Crace. The house is close to bus stop, University of Canberra and local shopping/dinning area. The room is furnished with a queen bed and a study table with build in wardrobe. High speed fibre internet. No pet sorry
Hi! My name is John, I'm a 24 year old professional from Melbourne who has recently accepted a role with a government department in Canberra. The contract is for 12-18 months (extendable to 3 years), so I'm looking to stay at a place for around that duration. The tentative start date is mid to late October. A little bit about myself, I'm a clean and considerate housemate that respects privacy but is also friendly and good for a chat. I'll be in Canberra over September 12-13 for inductions, but will have time for inspections and whatnot.
I’m a quiet university student studying early childhood and primary teaching at ACU. I also work as a casual at the YWCA.
Hello everyone! I'm looking for a room to move into soonish. I am a 20yo student working part time and I am looking to move into a home as well as a house, one where everyone feels comfortable and spends time together. I'm friendly, always up for a chat and hoping to make new friends. I'm studying biomedical science full time and working alongside this so I am pretty busy. I am usually pretty quiet and I am more than happy to take part in household cleaning/maintenance/chores. Ideally I would want to move into a house where we are all friends and hang out together/eat together sometimes, but there is also no pressure to do this all the time. My budget is around 160-170 per week, but this could change depending on the right house/people. I am also interested in teaming up and renting out a new house if the opportunity arises. Please message me if you think I would be a good fit! Thank you :) Hollie
