Hi i'm Nathan, i'm from the UK over on a working holiday visa. I am easy going and very laid back and coming to Canberra on the 28th of june
I'm a full time student at The University of Canberra studying a Bachelor of Politics and International Relations/Bachelor of Laws. I am social and outgoing, but not over the top. I love to cook, enjoy a bit of wine and cheese, and a good chat. I like to think of myself as a fun person, but not a party animal by any means.
Hi, I've just moved to Canberra for work and am looking for somewhere to share. I'm tidy, sociable and very understanding of personal space. Please send me a message if you'd like to know more!
I moved to Canberra in Jan 2016 after traveling around Australia. Originally from England, I was granted my permanent residency here last May. I'm 27 and I love to socialise, but also enjoy my quiet nights in overdosing on Netflix. I'm pretty laid back but I do like living in a clean house - I work with children so the last thing I want to do when I get home is clean up after others (and trust me, after living in a house share with 5 people, I found out what that was like...) I'm looking for somewhere that's a home, not just a house. I would like to live with one or two other people who are professional, clean and respectful others. Oh! I also have my own fridge/freezer if that gains bonus points.
ALL BILLS AND KING BED ARE INCLUDED IN RENTAL PRICE :)))) Looking for 1 x house mates to move in at anytime. This obviously does not mean you can go all out on utilities - this includes unlimited NBN internet, water, electricity and gas. The room contains a King size bed with all bedding and spare linen. Tenant needs to pay obviously for their food and all hygiene needs :) The house is in Crace, Gungahlin and is close to the local shops, gym, university and the city. Current tennant is a male, and one female whom are working professionals, clean, fun, friendly, considerate, active and sociable - new tenant should have similar traits - sorry, no couples. There is a Pomeranian and a American bulldog :) Pets are Outside majority of the time and stay on tiled areas, the Pomeranian floats around the house though... The house was built in 2013 and is as follows: 4 bedrooms 12 person salt water spa Gym (better than most hotels) Gourmet kitchen Theatre room NBN internet Fully furnished house 2 stories - all bedrooms are on the second floor You will have a shared bathroom however there is a powder room for any potential female tenants to use for any makeup requirements if needed. 4 weeks bond and 2 weeks rent required. Upon moving out you will forfeit $85 out of your bond towards carpet cleaning and for any outstanding utility bills to date from the previous billing cycle. Please send me a message if you are interested with your first and last name, contact number and a little blurb about yourself and and questions you may have :) Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers! :)
I'm currently 19 years of age turn 20 in September, currently working in before and after school care looking after children looking at changing drops mid year. Love the outdoors, always up for a laugh and drink, like to keep fit, just your average easy going girl get on with anyone and have a contagious bubbly personality. Also am very involved in rugby union train on a Tuesday and Thursday and game days on a Saturday.
I'm an easy going tradie. Early riser to take my female Husky for morning walks. Outdoorsy kinda guy with a 4x4 Ute and a dirt bike. I can cook alright, keep to myself mostly, but like a good social drink and or a chat. Keep a clean room, but can put up with a bit for clutter. Love to try learn new things, and will also be getting back in to the gym once settled. Looking for a place for a minimum of 6 months for my pup and I.
The modern, stylish house is located brilliantly, being only a ten minute walk to the local shops where you'll find a well stocked Supabarn (no supporting big names like Coles and Woolworths! Yay!), a Chicken Gormet takeaway, two cafes, a bar/restaurant with live music, a Club Lime gym, a hair dresser, beauty salon and massage parlour. You'll then find yourself just a ten minutes drive to Gungahlin Marketplace and a fifteen minute drive to the city and Belconnen! With a nature reserve across the road you'll find gorgeous walks and adventures right on your doorstep. It's a fully furnished, lovely home. Dishwasher and all the appliances you could wish for in the kitchen, I have a heap of vegan, vegetarian and omnivorous cookbooks to peruse, washing machine that's one year old, large wall mounted TV with a set top box allowing for Netflix, Stan, Youtube and rentable movies and shows to be viewed at the click of a button (full unlimited use of my Netflix and Stan accounts included), really effective ducted heating (and cooling but it will be the middle of winter!) NBN wifi is available but NOT included in the rent, if you would like to be using the internet it is $23.35 per month payable with bond (negotiable amount) at the start of your time here. Gas, electricity and water will be covered by me and the other housemates. You will be required to set up an automatic weekly direct debit into my bank account for rent as the real estate automatically take it out of my account fortnightly. The room! The room is the master bedroom, it's huge and features a walk in wardrobe and gorgeous ensuite bathroom all for you! The shared bathroom has a nice deep bathtub in it for those Friday night ragers hahaha. It's down the end of the house and at the end of a hallway so it can be quite separate for when you need some private time. Queen bed with extremely comfortable mattress is yours to use while you're here too!
Hi, I am looking for a place around UC. I would also be interested in teaming up and finding a place. I have references from real estate and landlord if needed. I am very quiet, friendly and tidy. Will look forward to hear from you soon.
I am a social, outgoing, fitness enthusiast with a small puppy. I am looking for a room in a dog friendly house/apartment. I have a full-time, permanent government role. Non-smoker, tidy, active, health conscious, well-travelled, studying part-time.
I am a clean and tidy, friendly, easy going, relaxed housemate that is just as happy to socialize as well as do my own thing. Looking for a new place to move in to as soon as possible for at least several months while I am trying to sell my house and buy a new one. I haven't rented for a while but I am always reliable with all rent and bills. I am a builder and have a ute and trailer that I need to be able to park safely and a few tools that I would like to store in the corner of a lock up garage if possible.
Full-time public servant who plays a bunch of sports. I dont mind a beer and hanging out on the weekend but respect peoples privacy. Im really easy going and easy to get along with.
I am a full time graphic designer working at a firm in Mitchell. I have been moving around Canberra at the moment and would like to find somewhere I can settle into. I am keen for a social atmosphere but am also a big fan of a book and some down time. I have my doggo Beans, who has been living everywhere I do for 3 years now and is a fantastic housemate. We both enjoy running and camping, so might duck off every other weekend to do so. If the idea of a doggo both excited and scares you he is really well behaved, and is guaranteed to love any one that he meets - happy to give some references for his behaviour too!
I am an easy going guy. I enjoy hanging out with friends but respect the privacy of others. I am quite a tidy guy. I'll be working a lot of the time. So I would be out of the house a lot. I like to stay fit and healthy including eatting healthy and exercising. I'm hoping to become a personal trainer while I am currently working in security.
We currently have 1 rooms available for rent. $165pw for single room. Bus stop is right in front of the house. Driving 15m to ANU, 5m to UC. 1m to Kaleen shops All the rooms are FULLY FURNISHED and all bills are INCLUDED UNLIMITED INTERNET available to share. Bond only 3 weeks rent. Contact Chinh (mss pls) for further information.
I want to rewrite this better.. but for now: I currently work in the offensive side of IT security, previously been in the startup/entrepreneur space, and am a polyglot developer by trade. I try to balance my tech side with getting out there and enjoying the finer sides of life, be that camping at a doof with friends, snowboarding, skydiving, scuba diving, trampolining, bouldering, etc. I have such a wide array of interests it's hard to list in a little box here. Open minded and pretty easy going with most things, evenings could equally be spent binging an interesting series as they could be philosophical discussions or hacking on some new project idea. Really looking for a perfect fit kind of housemate, and would sooner continue renting as just 2 than add someone who doesn't fit "for the sake of it". Relatively clean, but not going to get anal about a speck of dust here and there so long as it's not impacting on health/life (and we opt for getting a cleaner in monthly to ensure it doesn't become an issue, as it tends to end up in so many share houses). I follow a paleo'ish/bulletproof lifestyle, pretty but focus on health/wellness/performance, so someone that fits those ideals would be awesome. Interested in finding cool people on a similar wavelength of personal growth, development, fun and freedom; and realising that maybe the right fit is going to be further outside of our current circles. Jason's a teacher. Will probably get him to write some stuff for here later. If any of this piques your interest, reach out and let's chat, see if there is a match :)
Hi I am looking for placement accomodation from July - October. Looking for a place that accommodates pets, I have a very sweet natured 1 yr old kelpie. She's well trained and social with other dogs. Please get in contact.
I am a type of guys who want to keep things tidy, organise so i prefer to live people who keep the living space clean too. You will be find me easy going, friendly. Prefer to socialize and play sport over weekend. Love travelling, hiking and explore new places. Preferably looking a ensuite room but not necessary and not prefer to live with couples
Heya! Looking to move ASAP I am a full time student at ANU, and work 2 part time jobs. I also like to sell my drawings for a bit of extra cash :) I am super chill, but like to keep things nice, clean and tidy. I work and study a lot so I might not be around heaps; but Im really easy to get along with. I used to go to boarding school so I am accustomed to living with heaps of people and will definitely be respectful of your stuff/ space/ everything :) I am a vegetarian and mostly like to cook on my own, but I am more than happy to do shared meals or something... usually works out cheaper that way anyway. I have a lil kitten called Hector. He is a cornish rex... I am allergic to cats, but he is hypoallergenic and I don't have any problems with him. These cats are typically dog-like and VERY affectionate, but if you don't want him in your room/ certain areas of the house, I'm sure we could work something out :) At present I am teaching him how to fetch and I am (very very slowly) working on a high five! He's super entertaining and always a welcome study break. Send me a message if you're interested/ feel free to ask me ANY further questions. Cheers, Zo

Hello, I am moving from Canada to attend ANU law school. I am looking for one room possibly closer to ANU campus or area closer to a bus route that will lead ANU directly. I am not much of social person but can be depending on the people i am surrounded with. My focus is going to be on my studies however will contribute to other tasks around the place. I am very hygienic person and would also prefer same from my roommates.
I'm a student from Sweden that is going to do an exchange semester at ANU from mid July to mid November. I'll be studying full time, and perhaps look for a part time job as well. I'm looking for a place to rent, preferably a room in a bigger shared house/apartment. I'm a clean and tidy person, I'm very responsible and easy going. I love to work out, being outdoors and socialize with others. Hope to hear from you! :-)
What makes me great to live with? Its a toughie, buuuut I love to listen (sounds weird i know) and will happily talk about absolutely anything Im quite clean, I wouldn't say OCD level clean but enough to pass. I enjoy food and love to cook, also happy to share ;) I like gardening even though Im not very good and really have no clue as to what im doing.. I guess just having your own food grown at home is a really cool concept! Id say im a pretty decent human, I have absolutely no urge to get ahead of someone or anything like that, im just kind of cruising along helping anyone in need. I love to laugh and not take life so seriously, still trying to figure out if thats a good or bad thing.. Very spontaneous, wont fail to surprise you with the many ideas and dreams I come up with! Not really sure on what else to say, Im just a very friendly and easy going person who is interested in peoples passions!
Hey my name is Monique. I'm an international student moving to Canberra at the end of July to study at UC for a year. Looking for a furnished room (or not) somewhere close by. I've shared apartments before so I know how it goes. And no, my dog isn't coming with me sadly. Would love to share a place with someone who has dogs.

A little bit about me: - I have recently graduated from the University of Canberra - I work in administration, but always looking for my next career move. - Enjoy fitness/sport - Spend a lot of time at the gym or on the tennis court. - I am reliable, neat, friendly and respect the privacy of others. Don't spend a lot of time at home, but when I do I like to just relax, eat and sleep.
I am a very clean and tidy person. Willing to care for the home as if it was my own. I make a good stir fry and scrambled eggs, or making toast. Looking to join a share house which understands the need for space, but up for a meal a few times a week. NBN Internet is a big big positive.
Female, full time student, studying law. in my final year and applying for internships. I keep to myself most of the time. Though I do like the regular movie night and training sessions. I have a dog, titan, that's in training for mind dog program. So he is well behaved, house trained and loving. Would love to remain living in Canberra but it's getting pretty hard to find pet friendly accom as a one person. North Canberra would be my preference... anywhere lol. Keen for team ups
I am a student at ANU doing my masters. I am an indian and a vegetarian, i love to coom and can make almost all vegetarian dishes. A football fan, play often, love to listen to music and spend time with friends. Open to new experiences and meeting new people
Hi there, I'm Kiah, I am living in Sydney at the moment in an awesome apartment, studying and mostly working. I'm relocating to Canberra early July, and would like to find a great new place to call home for the next 6 months to a year, or more. I'm very tidy and clean, like to socialise with my housemates, but also love personal space/privacy and respect others. Please message if you'd like to get in contact :)
Being of a mature age, I pretty much enjoy the quiet life. Studying, writing, art, music, literature, craft, relaxation, meditation, cooking.... Not into raving or partying. Prefer a quiet meal and sitting round an outside fire. There has to be a place out there looking for me....... :)
I'm chill and professional. I love the outdoors and keeping things clean. I would be a full time student in University of Canberra and would be working full time. I have a descent saving so finance is never an issue.
I recently moved to Canberra after working in Singapore for almost 10 years and I am now working in the city as an accounts payable officer. I am currently living with my uncle and his wife but I am due to move out soon. I am looking for a room that is near and accessible to and from the city as I do not own a car yet. I am neat and tidy and I keep to myself but I can also socialise and have a glass of wine while chilling out. I like to travel and go around places. I like to relax on weekends and meet up with some friends.
