A little lowdown about me! I'm 26, easy going, friendly and a bit funny. Originally from Newcastle, England, I've been living in Australia since 2014. I've travelled the East Coast and lived in the outback for 16 months, but planted my roots in Canberra since February where I've been lucky enough to be sponsored as a permanent resident. For work, I spend my days entertaining the youth of today in early childhood education. Socialising and road trips are two things that make me very happy. My friendship circle here is so diverse but it's great and we're always keen to expand! I do enjoy a cup of tea in the mornings so as long as we have a kettle I'll be happy. I'm a pretty clean person and I would expect whoever I'm living with to have the same respect in regards to keeping a place tidy. I think communication plays a huge role in a house share, I feel that by living in a shared house you need to be open and honest about any issues that may arise to make living a happy life even easier :) I'm a socialiable and pretty happy person so I would love to live with someone who isn't just hiding in their room all the time. However, I won't be clawing your door down for company as I still enjoy to just chill on my own sometimes, too. I'm pretty laid back, but as I work in childcare I have 0 tolerance towards hard drugs being used in the house or around me. However, if it's the weekend I'm always keen for a little drink or two. If you think you've got the perfect place just send me a quick little message and we can get something arranged! I have all my own furniture, too, so pretty much happy to move in hopefully within a week or two of viewing and agreeing upon the place :)
The house boasts a beautiful Al Fresco area. Great size room, pool table and large bath tub. Upstairs and downstairs bathroom. 15 minute drive from the Civic. The property is only a five minute drive to Gungahlin and Casey shops. We also have a Superbarn, pub and cafe just a two minute walk away. We have a great sized yard for BBQ's and socialising. A dining room, large kitchen/pool room. Double garage, unlimited street parking and a double driveway, washer and dryer. The room is at the back of the house so lots of privacy, however the housemates are always down for a chat or a chill. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and we have an aerial downstairs for TV. The room is pretty large, you can easily get a queen bed plus other furniture, and there's also a fitted wardrobe and shelves. There's a study area at the top of the stairs if needed.
I am a tidy, friendly, happy person who enjoys my own space but also likes to be social. Work takes up a fair bit of my time but I like to have down time as well to do other things that I enjoy. I am happy to clean regularly to keep things tidy. I enjoy cooking and baking. I do not have much of a green thumb but am excellent at watering plants. I have lived in Canberra for almost 5 years now originally from Newcastle, NSW. I love the beach and get back to Newcastle as often as I can. If you have any questions, feel free to ask 😊
We are looking for a new house mate to move in at anytime based on meeting and all house mates agreeing on the suitability and fit within the house dynamics :) The house is in Crace, Gungahlin and is close to the local shops, gym, university and the city. Current tennants are 2 females (early and mid 20's) and 1 male, which are working professionals, clean, fun, friendly, considerate, active and sociable - new tenant should have similar traits - sorry, no couples. There is a small pet Pomeranian puppy who is friendly and basically just another house mate - this dog is not one of those annoying dogs :) The house was built in 2013 and is as follows: 4 bedrooms 12 person salt water spa Gym (better than most hotels) Gourmet kitchen Theatre room NBN internet Fully furnished house 2 stories - all bedrooms are on the second floor Internet is included in the rental price however bills (electricity, gas and water) will be split 3 ways every quarter. You will have a shared bathroom however there is a powder room for any potential female tenants to use for any makeup requirements if needed. 4 weeks bond and 2 weeks rent required. Upon moving out you will forfeit $85 out of your bond towards carpet cleaning and for any outstanding utility bills to date from the previous billing cycle. Please send me a message if you are interested with your first and last name, contact number and a little blurb about yourself and and questions you may have :) Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers! :)
A wonderful large share house with close proximity to transport, local shop and school. The room is spacious with built-in wardrobe. There is off-street parking. There is lushes trees of figs, cherries, apple, kiwi and the birds visit. The internet is VDSL2. Common areas set up with fridges, utensils, crockery, cutlery, tables and more. Available Sunday 11 December 2016.
I am a professional business person seeking another mature minded person who is employed, and has a cheerful disposition, to share with myself and two others. The house has four bedrooms, with 3 living areas, one of which I partly use as a home office. The layout of the house is conducive to both socialising and privacy. Located next to the reserve and lake at Nicholls, it’s only a few minutes’ walk to shops; restaurants; Club Lime gym; free out-door gym; and bus stops. Your bedroom is large (4.2m x 3.6m) with a generous sized built in robe, and is fitted with professional picture rails so you can hang what you like, where you like on the walls. No long queues for the bathroom space as you will be sharing with just one other considerate male. The house has evaporative cooling, and the tiled areas of the house have under floor heating. We generally share the cooking. Although you don’t need to be a gourmet chef, knowing your way around a kitchen is an advantage. There is no extra charge for all household expenses which includes House Cleaner, Electricity and NBN. Food and your personal requisites are extra. In the past, other people that have stayed long term have been Professionals, Semi-Professionals, Working Students, Military and Tradies. No couples please, but your overnight guests are most welcome. This is a non-smoking household, but outside smokers would be welcomed.
Looking to see what currently available and if there are some people out there roughly around my age looking for a room mate! Okay to move out at any time, just trying to find the right people to live with. Prefer to have the master bedroom with ensuite if possible as I don't particularly like sharing bathrooms which comes from previous times with room mates being grubs (the worst!) Not looking to live too far away from the city or Belconnen and not looking to live on the Southside either, inner south is okay but nothing further (sorry peeps) I work full time as a PA and enjoy sports, online gaming, music, gigs, hanging out at home and good food and drink! I am in a relationship and would like to live together but I know not all places have space for couples but keen to see what's available if not that's totally cool! Please feel free to message me if I suit what you are looking for in a flat mate :)
I have studied in quite a few places, including Hong Kong, Australia and the United States; such experiences have made me cosmopolitan. I am also a tiny person and willing to help out whenever I can :-) Looking forward to sharing a house with others and creating a happy living environment together!
Quiet, relativity neat and courteous individual looking for a quiet house to rent for extended stay.
I am friendly, neat and quiet mature age student (part time) looking for reasonably priced share house arrangement for 2017. After many years in Sydney and overseas I am returning to Canberra to be closer to my family, start a new job (4 days a week) in January and continue my studies. I am not much of socialiser but I am reliable when it comes to paying rent (and other household costs) and helping out with the maintenance of house. I prefer living in long-term sharing set-ups and I have been living with my current flatmates for the last 3 years and we have all been on good terms. I am sad to leave Sydney but I am hopeful and thinking positively about new prospects in the ACT.

I'm a bubbly and friendly person who is easy to get along with. I keep to myself usually and work Monday to Friday as well as spending time with my friends so, I don't spend a huge amount of time at home. If we make friends though, I would be happy to cook dinner for everyone occasionally and have a drink or two together. I'm clean, tidy and respectful. I'm well organised and am able to work in with the needs of others (eg. Bathroom schedules etc, if required). I'm moving into a share house to save myself some money, as I have been living by myself for a while now. I aim to save and travel or buy my own place. Please note - although I am a smoker, it's generally a social occurrence. Im respectful of others wishes, I don't smoke inside and will only smoke outside the house on occasion if it is okay with others. If not, I can easily go without. It isn't a deal breaker for me.
Hey guys, I have recently graduated and have fortunately secured a 1 year grad program in canberra. I'm originally from the Sydney. Love to cook and bake, plus like being physically fit. I am working part-time at the ANU as well. Originally an expat kid, grew up in Japan and lived all over Asia/Australia. Currently learning Arabic, but can speak few other languages as well. I love the outdoors, and I go hiking almost every second weekend. I don't mind pets, so that's a non-issue for me. Send me a message if you have place. Cheers
