The room has a built-in wardrobe and is unfurnished. The rent includes electricity, internet and Netflix which is connected to the lounge room tv. The only thing you are responsible for is your food but happy to discuss if you want to do joint shopping or separate. I have 2 small dogs so you should be dog-friendly. The unit is 3 bedrooms and has a front courtyard and I have a small BBQ in the front yard. Parking off street on footpath. Only about 1klm to shopping centre town centre and hospital and quiet location.
Hi, I’m a student from Malaysia looking for a place to stay in Canberra for one month. I’m tidy and easy-going and I also respect your personal space. I go to the gym but also enjoy reading at home or chilling with friends over a cup of coffee or beer.
I work full time as an early childhood educator in Barton. I love all animals (however this in no way means they love me back sadly). I love a good night in with Netflix and takeout however I also really enjoy cooking and baking. cleanliness is key and I don't mind putting in the effort to keep it that way. I'm a pretty private person so I'm not overly loud or out there, and am not too fond of drinking or clubbing, however I do enjoy the odd glass of wine whilst watching I bit of good tv. I've been able to live in some pretty great places of Australia but I prefer to call Canberra home.
Recently moved to Canberra to work in the public service. Finishing my degree by distance. Need short term accommodation, preferably around the 2 to 3 month range. Clean and tidy; like to keep my space squared away. Prefer my own space but not adverse to hanging out. New to Canberra, so unfamiliar with the area, wouldn't mind a guide to the city and surrounding areas.
We are a young couple from Newcastle and we are moving to Canberra for work at very short notice. We urgently require short-term accommodation until we can get settled in and find our own place. We would like to move in preferably no later than the beginning of June. Our preferred length of stay is around 2-3 months but we can be flexible with this. Elliott (22 y.o.) - Public servant and Clark Kent look-alike; currently working as a research assistant and finishing the last semester of a commerce degree via distance. Michelle (27 y.o.) - Recently completed a B.A. in politics and international relations; moving to Canberra to work and study at ANU. • We are mature, respectful, and clean up after ourselves. • We're sociable and easy to get along with, but we also appreciate having our own space. • We'll be working full-time hours Monday-Friday and studying during nights/weekends, so we're looking for housemates who are quiet and considerate, especially during the evening. (We don't mind sharing with other students as long as it's not a noisy 'party house' type environment). • We're not adverse to hanging out occasionally — it would be nice to know some locals who can show us around the city and recommend things to see/do in Canberra :) • Hoping to find a room that's already furnished because we'll need time to acquire our own furniture. A queen bed would be ideal because all of our sheets, quilts etc. are queen size (and Elliott is probably too tall to sleep on anything smaller). • We'll need parking space (Elliott has a car and I plan to bring mine down from Newcastle in the near future, too). • I'll be relying on public transport for at least a few weeks, so accommodation located reasonably close to public transport is a must. • We would prefer to have our own bathroom/ensuite (if possible) but we're not in a position to be too fussy. • Decent internet/Wi-Fi and heating/cooling is essential.
Hi! I am laid back, easy to talk to, sociable but also respectful of others' space. I am also tidy, good with paying rent and bills on time and generally just being a decent person! Additional skills include cooking, gardening and playing of musical instruments. My hobbies and interests include arts, music, going to see live bands, going to the movies, and occasional outdoor activities/sports.
Hi, I am Sridhar. working as IT consultant in public service. I am simple, clean and responsible guy. I am from Melbourne and will travel to Melbourne on weekends. I am non smoker and I like to chat with people over a cup of tea or coffee after work. I am mature enough to understand people privacy and their own space. I am looking for a room near and around Forrest area. Thanks.
I'm an easy going sports-nut who loves a few glasses of wine with dinner. I love animals, but am a cat fanatic. I'm neat and tidy (my mum is a house keeper so I know how to clean a house :) ) I'll be travelling with work so will be around on weekends and some days during the week.
Hey. I’m a full time public servant who relocated from Melbourne in early May. However, I grew up on the Gold Coast so consider me laid back (in the best way). A non-smoker, I work 8 to 4pm and am keen to venture out on weekends to explore my new town. I’m an amateur cook/foodie, I love to travel and try new things. I’m looking for potential roommates who are respectful, clean and friendly. I also have a passing interest in attempting to grow veggies and stroll through fresh food markets on weekends. I have a fridge, washer, dryer, comfy couch, tv and a decent amount of kitchenware so someone looking to team up for a new place and split furniture would be great. I would prefer an ensuite or private bathroom and off street parking for those cold winter mornings! I am allergic to cats so please keep this in mind.
Hey! I'm Amanda, 21, originally from Sydney. I'm studying a Master's degree full-time at ANU and working part-time. Looking for a place quiet enough to study but with friendly roommates to chill with. Message me if you're interested!

Here are a few things about us: - We are friends and have known each other for over 10 years, we are both 22. - Emma works as a teacher's aid and in admin part time while studying her teaching degree. She loves a night in with a good book, a tub of cookies and cream icecream and cuddles from her pup. - Luke works at Deloitte full time and spends most of his free time playing games, watching sport, bushwalking and bike riding. - We are clean, friendly and easy going. - We are both considerate and respectful of other people's privacy. - Our budget is $200/week each. - Our preferred location is in Queanbeyan or Jerrabomberra but we happy to move into Canberra as long as the house is within 20 minutes of the airport. You should also know that Emma also has a 5-month-old pup named Spencer who will be joining us. He loves all the cuddles and pats you can spare. Also joining us is her rabbit named Stewie, a fluffy bunny full of attitude. So with this in mind we're looking for a pet friendly house. Hi, I am a current PhD Student at ANU. I am very social, fun-loving and willing to make new friends. And, more importantly, I would say I am too clean and tidy. I love cooking and also enjoy cleaning and housework. I am looking for a room in a house, preferably close to the university with no pets. Thank you.
I’m an incoming-postgraduate student of Environmental Management and Development to ANU, coming from the United Arab Emirates. Although I was born in Australia, I grew up as an expat kid in the Middle East, leading to my undergraduate studies in England and Hong Kong. I’m not that familiar with Australia but really looking forward to starting my next chapter there. I’d consider myself a courteous and tidy flatmate who is open-minded, socialable and studious. Hoping to work part-time and explore Southeast Asia and the Pacific outside of my studies.
